There were power cut consistently in the resort and It doesn't give you a full ambiance of a resort instead it is more like a hotel room. I don't recommend for couples and for bachelors it is always a great option at the best price. Staff members was helpful.

Cherai beach palace is a very nice place for family, large rooms beautiful sea facing balcony to enjoy sunset, ample parking space. We were provided with complimentary breakfast but only limited items and not buffet. Rooms lack shelves. Please understand this is not a resort but something between homestay and hotel. Easy access to restaurants.

I stayed here a couple of nights and found the hotel to be comfortable with everything working as you would hope for. I stayed in a room with a private balcony which is glassed in with windows you can open. It still gets pretty hot though and I found the balcony unusable. The place has a nice big open upstairs where you can eat or just relax. The ocean is just across a usually quiet road. The view is great, and the grounds are all right. I was left with mixed feelings about the staff. Breakfast was not free. Though two of the lower staff were great and helpful and friendly, the older fellow who seemed so friendly was really not competent as someone to ask for help from. Several times it appeared he was understanding and we trusted him to be helpful but he failed us at least twice causing us significant hardship. Overall it is a nice hotel, but I expect my hotel to be more competently helpful than this one proved to be.

For those who are reading this... I really want to tell you that it's an amazing spot to spent time with your friends or with your family. I really mean it, the staffs are very friendly and their services are beyond your imagination. We really Love this place. The surrounding is so peaceful. 10/10.

Cherai Beach Palace has a really beautiful view of the sea and if you get to visit here you will see that the sea facing rooms gets you the wide expanse of the sea right in front of you. Mr. Viju and team is very courteous, hospitable and takes every care of your needs. The hotel is clean, homely, secured and food is just like home food. Mr. Aaron, Mr Lowi makes you feel at home with their constant vigilant support. If you need a change of air, mood and plain resting vacation, then look out no further. Best pkace to rejoice, rejuvenate and recharge yourself far away from maddening hustle bustle of busy city life!! Regards Rudrashish Sen

Lovely view. Pleasant and welcoming staff. Lovin, Viji and his wife are very hospitable. The rest of the staff was also very polite and helpful. Must stay here if you are in the area ! Thank you for the delicious Appam and stew for breakfast

Very nice place, clean rooms and the staff very friendly. In four nights I had just one problem. Very close to the resort it's a church, or at least that's what the owner told me, and in the last night they were playing VERY LOUD MUSIC at 5 a.m. I called the owner and he didn't do anything to fix the situation and I'm not sure if he could do anything. But before you book a room here, you should consider my experience. In rest everything was great.

We had booked the entire property for 2 days for a college reunion. The rooms are clean, the staff helpful and the property has a sea view from the 2nd floor. The food was simple but tasty and very reasonably charged. Jus across the road you have the sea and can sit on the sea wall and listen to the majestic sound of waves crashing on the rocks. Good place 👍

If you are looking for a quiet and affordable getaway, this is your place! The location is perfect as the beach is right here, and theres only a few people so its very peaceful and the rooms are also really good and comfortable

It was a family trip for us awesome ambiance and very friendly staffs . Soo neat and soo cool place to stay over.i just enjoyed the whole stay . It was a whole some experience . Even kids enjoyed .

The price mentioned in Goibibo is for the basic Non A/c room which is too small for a comfortable stay. Please don't be misled by the rate of Non A/c room. Please check for A/c room if booking online..

not even worth for stay 1 night, no food, no tea, only room with ac, which can be on and off with external wiring , no hot water, towels are tored and may be using for guest since last 10 years or purchased used one, parking is available, seaview and only rock beach

Had booked the hall for an event. Hall smelt of dust and damp and made it difficult to breathe during the entire event. The location is good. The view from the floor above is great. Service is non-existent.

The beach is so nearby and the room has an antique touch... You get an old home feeling.. and the lawn is so good for pictures.there is no comments for hosting they were so considerate about the guests and provided food also when there is no Zomato amd swiggy at late night.. I will recommend there

It's a good and descent handout place in Cherai. The best part is that the owner of the premises Mr. Saiju is a master in hospitality and makes you leterally feel at home. The property is realy good and is just beside the beach. Enjoyed the evening at the property.

I stayed here this weekend with family. Pros : 1. Courteous and helpful staff. The person in charge was always there helping us many a times. 2. Located right next beach, hence a good view. You can see the ocean while lying down in your bed. The tinted glass offers a good deal of privacy with the view. (Please keep in mind that as per physics,The tint doesn't work at night :) ) So keep the curtains closed at night. 3. Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Almost double the size of a room in a regular three Star hotel. 4. Clean rooms and bath rooms. Not a single speck of dirt. Recently painted. Cons : (Covid has taken a toll on tourist sector which may be responsible for the issues) 1. Doesn't have the feel of a Three Star Hotel per se. It has the feel of a service apartment with a good view. 2. We took two rooms. One room had no shelves or wardrobes! The clothes had to be spread on the chairs. The second room had a small shelf but no ward robe. The cloth hanging hooks on the wall were all broken. So again that room too we had to spread all the clothes on the chairs. 3. As per the photos the hotel has a good roof top area which i though was a dining area with a good view. But the dining area is around the reception! Was a bit of disappointing which kills the beach side ambience. 4. There is no phone inside rooms. We have to call through mobile. No big deal. But it's expected in a three Star hotel. 5. No beach outside the sea wall. So you can enjoy the view but can't get the feel of the beach. 6. No electric kettle in rooms. Pardon me for the negative comments but had high hopes. I am sure all these are due to the financial crisis due to covid. And let's hope, that in time all the hotels and resorts around the area bounces back to it's prior glory. All the best!

One of the moderatly expensive resort in the beach view area. All the rooms are air conditioned. There are 3 budget friendly rooms. There are some cottage type house also. The top floor have a wonderful gathering area for an occupancy of around 70 people. There is only one washing place and one stair case. But the view is wonderful as well as the wind from the sea. There is enough parking space inside and on the road sides.

Opted a budget room of RS 1500 for few hours to fresh up, room is too small for a family of two members to accommodate, washroom is not that clean, AC out is fit into washroom and water is flowing continuously. No windows and very congested. Not fit for staying a night. Not sure about other rooms, sharing the experience of the small rooms available.

We booked a sea view AC room, The room is fine. They charged 6k for two nights. No inhouse food, we ll have to order on availability of food. On weekdays there is no one, but it's a bit scary. On weekends we can see most of the rooms were filled. Walking distance to the beach from the resort is the main advantage. It's outer from metro city, you always want to travel around 12 to 20kms. Foods are fine, and the people are good. There are some water sports available in 2kms from the resort, you must try if you're an adventure person.

The wifi was super . Bed is not good to sleep, breakfast was okay . The service was okay .. only they fixed one tv room . Location and was pretty good , could see waves from the hotel .
