Place that takes your mind to a different level as the scenes you could see here will relax your mind quickly. It is one of the main hub for the migratory and the resident birds during October to March and at that time it is a mindblowing view in the marshy areas where they hunt for food. Huge number of birds will be seen in these areas and is one the main attractions that persuades the birders, photographers makes their way to this place,sunrise is also very beautiful here, also there is a toddy shop nearby that provides good food.

Good place to spend an evening. The canal , flooded paddy fields and birds are a feast to the eyes. Weekends are bit crowded but week days are the best to visit. Some petty shops are there offering coffee, tea but does not provide hygienic dining space. It is always better to carry your own snacks and drinks.

Awesome place filled with greenery and flowing canals. One of the best places to sit and relax during evenings. This area has many rice cultivating fields spread over a vast area and is gaining popularity these days. One can see wide variety of birds over here.

A short scenic getaway of paddy fields and lotus flower farming. An ideal place to just relax your mind. It is not a formal tourist location. It is situated on a busy internal road and have huge paddy fields on either side of the road. Before reaching this location there is another scenic place that offers you self paddle boating service on the canal. Due to strong winds, during our visit, it was not allowed. But, we enjoyed a boat ride on the coracle (circular boat) at a nominal cost of Rs.200/- per ride. It can accommodate four people that includes the boatman, who paddles the boat. Wearing of life jacket is mandatory. You can energise yourself with the fresh tender coconut water available at wayside shops.

Pullu is an excellent spot for those who would like to spend a peaceful evening in a scenic kerala village. Pullu is beautiful with its endless coal wet lands and paddy fields. The canal that goes through the middle of these wet land is a soothing sight. The sight of birds flying in v formation in the evening sky is ethereal. making There are a number of small road side hotels and they serve varieties of tapioca dishes. Excellent for cycle riding too.

Perfect place for a quick getaway with family. Beautiful place. The sunrise 🌅 is beautiful and the morning air is fresh and pure. You can go to the place and forget all your troubles and just enjoy the beauty of nature at its best. I found the evenings to be a bit crowded so morning time is preferable. There are thattkadas and small food joints around. Parking spaces are plenty and there will not be any issue. I found the lotus pond to be a lovely place and there is a small boat ride available I believe. Perfect place for pre wedding photo shoots.

You will get a village experience. Maximum time can be spent is 3 hours. Preferable visit time is from 3.30 pm. Kutta vanchi ride, horse cart and number of street food corners will make your visit enjoyable. Constraints- there is no waiting shed to relax and also there are no public washrooms.

Pullu is the part of Kole wetland system in Thrissur district. An attractive place to spend evening with family and friends. Sunrise & Sunset views are awesome & enjoyable along with Beautiful paddy fields and canal views make it a stunning landscape. Best time to visit here is post monsoon.  Many migratory and the resident birds can be observed during the Oct- Mar & it is a mind blowing view in the marshy areas where these birds flying in group or hunt for food. This location is excellent for taking photographs and execute wedding photoshoot. Some scenes of the popular Malayalam movies shoots here. It also having a beautiful Lotus pond and you can enjoy vanchi (Boat) ride, horse ride etc. Heaven for bicycle riders. You can grab a fresh Kerala food from the roadside small shops with variety of foods they offer like Juice, Ice-creams & tapioca dishes of Toddy shop. Weekends are bit crowded but week days are the best to visit. Some petty shops are there offering coffee, tea but does not have a proper dining space You do not have any waiting area/shed to relax, personal vehicle need to park beside road as small dedicated parking place & also the lack of public washrooms.

One of the beautiful places in our own Thrissur. The Soft drinks from THRIBUVARAN Chettan is a must try if you are passing through this scenic road.

Evenings are the best. You can see one of the best sunset. There will be best Thattukada food in the evening also.

Beautiful place, sunset is wonderful. Basic amenities or facilities is nill, but it is better to keep as it is. If our govt touch the place may they spoil the beauty. A must visit place in Thrissur.
