One of the biggest and Oldest St Antony’s pilgrims centre in Ernakulam district. Its located the end of Ernakulam districts and near to Thrissur district. Many people’s are coming from different place to visit here. They have confession facilities on the Parish Office buildings. I think there are 5 holy mass on Tuesdays, 8.00 am ,10.30 am,3.00 pm,5.00 pm and 6.30 pm. If you coming from far,you should visit the beach near by.Cherrai beach and Munambam are very close to the St.Antony shrine.

It's holy place as per Christian belief. The church is enhanced by blessing of St Antony the saint his relic of holy tongue is situated there. A lot of miracles are observed and reported daily by the workship people.. It quite a peaceful place and historical one. Personally I recommend all Christians to visit the place and get blessed..

Old, well maintained and a famous church for its miracles. The well with its refreshing water is a must visit. The chapel and church have a peaceful and soothing environment. During covid times it’s well maintained with a security guard at the entrance to ensure visitors sanitise their hands before the enter the church The approach road is narrow so better go during off peak hours, Parking space is available Decently priced holy items shop in the same compound, also in the same compound are candle sellers and a small coffee shop.

Yes, I have visited St.Antony's Shrine at Chettikad, near North Paravur. It is a very famous pilgrim centre. A large number of people from different places are visiting this center for worship and prayers.it is an old shrine and small building where prayers are offered it is very neatly maintained in a calm and vast compound.a bigger church is constructed nearby with all facilities for pilgrimers.

I used to visit the Shrine since 1957, when it was a Chappel during my visit to my sister. After wards I visited the Shrine when ever I go to Kerala on leave along with my family. After every visit we feel that we are getting the blessings of Jesus Christ and the Saint🙏🙏🙏🙏.

This is a nice seren shrine where you will be overwhelmed with graces poured by the intercession of St. Antony of Padua. This place is also known as the East of Padua where you can see peoples of all walks of life regardless of cast, creed and religions. On every Tuesday of the month there will be Holy Mass followed by Novena dedicated to this patron Saint throughout whole day. You will see the rush of people come to visit from far and near. Same time you will feel merged along with the hymns and prayers echoed in and out of the shrine and floated with Saint's blessings. Sure this will make you visit quite more often as possible. 🙏

Went there for annaprashan or first rice eating ceremony of my child. We went on sunday. Eventhough the ceremony used to happen at tuesdays, priest was willing to do the ceremony. We brought rice and pappad and the priest blessed it and fed the child. We spent sometimes in both churches; the old one and new one. The old church surroundings appear to be a temple.

This Christian pilgrimage centre is popularly known as the "Padua of the East", owing to it housing St. Antony's relics. The church surroundings are peaceful and easily accessible from NH 66, after Kodungalur byepass. There's plenty of parking and clean amenities for devotees. The church is a preferred destination for "chorunu" (first religious food given to infants) and for vehicle blessing, which is done free of charge by the parish priests upon request. Tuesdays are when the saint's novena is celebrated, and hence get pretty crowded. Otherwise, weekdays are relatively less crowded. Be sure to view the saint's relic displayed in the newer church.

The Chettikkad Church gained importance when it became the only church in Asia to have preserved three holy relics of St Antony. The miraculous well on the church premises is another blessing for the devotees who believe that that water from the well can cure them of their ailments and prevent evil forces from entering their property.
