Thattupara Thattupara View Point My journey( 25-10-2020) 16 km from Puliyanam to Thattupara,via Angamaly Ride type-cycling🚲 Level - Easy Time :Within an hour and a half of time. This is a place where you can relax in the early morning🙂🌞. There is also a small stream on the left. On the left is the Sunrise (east) and the Malayattoor hill. Looking ahead you can see a canal, a nearby church and a landscape in the distance. The songs and tranquility from the nearby church in the early morning create a nice ambience. By seven o'clock in the morning, the nearest quarry was open and the number of vehicles was increasing, causing noise disturbances. 🚫Travelers please. Be careful not to litter the area with plastic. തട്ടുപാറ വ്യൂ പോയിന്റ് എന്റെ യാത്ര(25-10-2020) പുളിയനം - തട്ടുപാറ 16 km, (അങ്കമാലി വഴി ) ട്രിപ്പ്‌ ടൈപ്പ് -സൈക്ലിംഗ് ലെവൽ - ഈസി സമയം - ഒന്നര മണിക്കൂറിൻ ഉള്ളിൽ അതിരാവിലെ ശാന്തമായി വന്നിരിക്കാൻ പറ്റിയ ഒരിടമാണ് ഇവിടം. ഇടതു വശത്തായി ഒരു ചെറിയ വെള്ള ചാലും ഉണ്ട്. ഇടതു ഭാഗത്താണ് സൂര്യോദയം (കിഴക്ക് )മലയാറ്റൂർ മലയും ഈ ഭാഗത്തു കാണാം. മുന്നോട്ടു നോക്കിയാൽ ഒരു കനാലും അടുത്തുള്ള ഒരു പള്ളിയും ദൂരേക്ക് കിടക്കുന്ന ഭൂ പ്രികൃതിയും കാണാം. അതിരാവിലെ അടുത്തുള്ള പള്ളിയിൽ നിന്നുമുള്ള പാട്ടുകളും ശാന്തമായ നല്ല ഒരു ചുറ്റുപാട് സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. രാവിലെ ഏഴുമണി ആകുമ്പോഴേക്കും അടുത്തുള്ള ക്വാറി യും മറ്റും പ്രവർത്തനം ആരംഭിക്കുന്നതിനാലും, വണ്ടികളുടെ എണ്ണം കൂടുന്നതിനാലും, അതുമൂലമുണ്ടാകുന്ന ശബ്‌ദം അസ്വസ്ഥത ഉണ്ടാകുന്നു. 🚫ദയവു ചെയ്ത് യാത്രികരാരും തന്നെ. ഇവിടം പ്ലാസ്റ്റിക് അടക്കമുള്ള മാലിന്യങ്ങൾ വലിച്ചെറിഞ്ഞു വൃത്തികേടാക്കാതിരിക്കാൻ ശ്രദ്ധിക്കുക.

This is the most beautiful view point in the area. Please visit during the morning and evening, as the place is deserted during noon and is very scorchy during the summer. This is a popular destination for cyclists and bikers and is also a good option for off-roading. This is a religious place. The sunset here is very mesmerizing , if there is a slight raining before your visit the view form here is very pictisterqa as there will be mist flowing all over the area.

Great place for evening hike and view. It belongs to a functioning church. There's also a cave related to catholic history. This place is not well known and remain untouched my man and so it's clean and maintained well. The road is narrow but even 4 wheelers can be brought to the top. There's a spacious 🅿️ parking space beside the church. No wheelchair accessible entrance ♿🚫

A beautiful place especially for sunset. Since the view is toward west you will be able to enjoy every bit of the sunset. During morning you can witness mist in the valleys but a view of sunrise is not possible. I am including photos of both morning and evening

A quiet place to chill at the evening with a beautiful view. Is not a chilly place. The weather's normal there but the ambience is something different.

If you looking to spend an evening in leisure under the sun, enjoy a breeze and watch the 🌞 set, then this is an ideal place to be. Arrive by 5.30 PM and you can plan to spend about an hour. There are no shops in the vicinity, so better to carry some snacks and water especially if kids are coming along. An old church stands testimony to the beauty of the place as well as to the negligent people who have littered the whole place with plastic waste

This place is a hidden gem near Angamaly. A very beautiful viewpoint. Especially, watching the sunset is a treat for the eyes. A very calm and peaceful place. The place is surrounded by lush greenery. The old church adds to the beauty of this place. Hiking this mountain is an adventure in itself. Must visit this place if you want to relax and divert your mind away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

A 3.5/5 small beautiful view point The view was really good. There was a church there and there were about 20 people also. Mostly youngsters. A borderline remote area. You could visit here if you are passing by but i don't think it's worth a whole day's journey. Visited on 07/05/2023 Around 6:45 PM 27℃

Nice place to visit. Nowadays it's popular and crowded. Best for sunset view. Car and bike parking is also available. I still miss the calm and quiet atmosphere it used to have. A must visit place to visit with your friends. If you are planning to ride here with friends morning time is suggested as it is less crowded. But it's a place known for the sunset view, not the sunrise. Nevertheless, you don't miss the cool breeze at both times.

Amazing location... Missed the sunrise.. But since its facing west, sunset is what we should see according to locals.. about 25 kms from Angamaly.. Reach before 7 in the morning and you a cool weather

It's very beautiful and peaceful place. You can see lots of places from up there. Also, you can see flight landing and taking off at Cochin international airport.

There is not that much there to see just a view from the top, and if you are visiting there during the rainy season, then you would see some mist. And if you love offroading then at the end of the concrete road you will find a small way up on the right side ,it's not that level of off-road but it's good for beginners you can easily go through it and there is also a query there you can also go there

One of the most scenic views of sunset you can get around Kochi. This place is totally underrated. Don’t get me wrong, it’s “just” a rock and a church, there’s almost no other infrastructure available (like cafés, stores etc). There’s not even a bench for you to sit atop the rock. But, you can drive your car to almost the top of the rock, and since there’s not much people around, you can kind of leave your car there. From there, you’d have to walk for about 3 minutes to get to the viewpoint. The viewpoint provides a wide 180 degree angle of view and if you go there during the evening (which you totally should), you can get to watch the sunset.
