Irresponsible Guy, No Duty Consciousness. People like him does not deserve attention.

This shop has one of the best collections of premium aquarium accessories that you would ever need from Canister filters to CO2 Tanks, filter medias etc. This is a dream place for all hobbyist Only trouble that you will spot is that the staff there are still getting there. The owner is very knowledgeable and extremely polite and the staff are still learning the tricks but will get there over a period of time. They don't sell any fishes currently but the owner did mention they plan to do so but will mostly be rare and exotic species which makes them a unique shop and lets be honest, if you are looking for cheap products this shop wont be your cup of tea either.

What a Pathetic Dealership and no courtesy at all, I ordered and paid for 2 items on their website, both items were in stock on the website, after placing the order just received one of the item and the 2nd item was cancelled and no-one from the dealership even bother to call/ at least WhatsApp the customer about the cancellation. I wonder how many of the below listed reviews are Fake!! An organisation with lack of customer service like this would last long enough.

We had purchased aquarium with cabinet from back water aquatics. From the very 1st week of purchase we had issues and had contacted the service, but nobody turned up. Did numerous attempts after that, they hear your issues but no service. Finally after 3 months they agreed to come and do the service for 3295rs. After informing them that if they had done the service in the first place this should have easily avoided. Rather than waiting for the things to worsen up and charging the customers isn’t the ideal way of doing the business. I had also informed if we had purchased the aquarium at a higher rate from you guys, we expect services in right time. I dont recommend back water aquatics for any of the purchases.

Great place to shop for Aquascapers and Aquarium lovers and serious hobbyist. I have purchased all of my scape materials including Canister filters, Bio-Media, decorative woods, substrate, plants, WRGB lights and all other equipment for my 4ft hi-tech tank. They deal with all major global brands, have a variety of global standard products available to choose from. Owner Sandeep is extremely patient and will guide you nicely about the product. I’m based out of Bangalore, and I couldn’t physically visit their gallery, however they have communicated so nicely and packed all of my items and shipped - extremely professional in business. Excellent customer service. I ordered a custom built 120L ultra clear glass aquarium tank which btw is very beautifully made from BWA. I opt to go there to collect it in person. They went out of their way to ensure the tank was packed well 🙏 I believe BWA is truly the first world class proper aquarium/aquascaping store that I've ever visited in India.

I purchased few tissue culture plants recently.The plants arrived in excellent condition, with healthy roots and well-developed leaves. The packaging was also top-notch. The shipping delivery charge is nominal as compare to market price.

I like their accountability which they showed while my package of co2 diffuser had been on hold by delivery partner. They had been in constant touch and resolved all my questions. Its easy to find aquarium shops all over Cochin but what sets this place apart is the incredibly helpful staff. Right from the top management to the staff at the counter, they’re professional and knowledgeable. Unlike other places, they don’t try to sell things we don’t need. Instead, they ask us our needs specifically and are more considerate about the fish. They make sure we understand it’s not all about aesthetics, and that, in the end, the fish needs to be happy. I have never dealt with pet shop staff to be so compassionate. Especially when it comes to aquatic life. Salute to you guys. Note: when you purchase anything or even adopt a fish, trust me, their post service to ensure the good health of your fish will be intact. ♥️

The person explained in details on pros and cons of each type of aquarium. He is very knowledgeable in this area. They have the capability to install quality and beautiful aquarium based on the requirements. However price are bit on higher side.

Filters, fish feed, live plants, fertilizers, sand, substrates, rocks, driftwood, and so much more available for each and every need. It's a great place for hobbyists to shop. The products they sell are quite good, so it's gonna be a lil expensive. But keep in mind, quality is top level.

Their main focus is on pet foods and supplies. They also focus on aquascaping as well. They have a wide range of cheap, expensive and imported filters, heaters and many other accessories as well. They have a few varieties of selected fish types like glass catfish, discuss ❤️, rasboras etc which are very hard to find in other shops. The staff is very knowledgeable and customer friendly. Educating the customers and helping them make the right choice is more important to them than making profits. I was surprised by this attitude of theirs and that's why I am writing this review. Its rare to find businessmen with such work ethics.

The Gallery concept setup is the first of its kind in Kerala. One more advantage is all leading brands are available in the store and hence almost all products under one roof. Appreciate the effort by the owner. Pricing is also reasonable. After sales service and customer support is very much satisfactory which we do not get in other online stores.

My own experience with bwa. Four months back I brought a Led light for my aquarium(45 cm) - a light that comes under low watt category. This one is for my second tank(90 p). At first the 45cm light had a small Crack on the diffuser and I informed them upon receiving the product. They told me they would refund me the money. Instead I told them I want the 60 cm version of it. They shipped the product(60cm). Now both 45 cm and 60cm are there with me (approx 18k in value) sitting in my house.I am supposed to return the 45cm led light back to them. The owner sandeep gave me a call in wee hours and told me the 60cm light has issues with heat dissipation and the lumens is not upto the mark. He guides me through the best led light that his shop sells. Now I buy a new 90 cm Led light ( high lumens catagory)and return both 45 and 60cm light. This has never happen to me in all these years of online purchases. Wonderful experience with Bwa . They care for their customers and take pride in what they are doing. Thanks BWA. Stay awesome.

There is huge scarcity of reliable suppliers of premium aquarium brands in South India atleast. We had to rely on amazon etc by paying very high prices and no warranty support for premium aquarium accessories. Backwater aquatics has been a great boon for me in that aspect. Excellent brands, great customer support and they go an extra mile in helping with expert advice on aquarium topics. Great experience so far.
