First of all I would suggest google to change the name of the shop. The shop is run by Sadhu Chettan. His father was a dumb and deaf, who initially there to run the shop and hence the name. But Sadhu Chettan is comfortable with that name it seems Regarding the taste, evening by about 3.30-4.00 it starts. You'll get the tasty crispy naadan porotta right from the baking stone along with the mouthwatering and satisfying beef combo along with a good teashop tea. It's too good and I would suggest you to try it atleast once. Try it by evening itself and it'll normally get exhausted by 6.00 PM. In the morning about 10.00 the cooking process starts. It get slowly cooked until 3.30 and hence the taste. The shop is just meters away from my home. That's why I'm more informed on the shop and the processes.

First of all; I am sharing my experience Today we tried Porota 10/- Beef fry 90/- Porota average Beef fry is too oily, beef was hard, and the masala of the beef doesn't have any taste. Actually it is a very famous shop in Edavilangu,Kodungallur. But my experience was really bad Its a small nadan restaurant Staff behaviour was good. Even though its a local restaurant its almost neat. I wont recommend to anyone because of the taste. I am sharing my experience

The place is quite difficult to find as it is inside a market place -at the end corner(Ask for sadhu chettante kada). The beef was soft and flavour was good but quite mild.Worth a try.Its. a small cramped thattukada inside a marketplace,so dont expect a very hygenic atmosphere.

Special in Parotta and beef combination and beef is prepared traditional style by not using gas or cooker.

This shop is a bit difficult to find. Because this shop has to walk along the side of a building.. This shop is located at Edavilangu junction itself. Porotta and beef are the main food here. The porota was only average taste, the beef was slow cooked so it was very smooth, the taste was good...it was fresh beef...it was served hot...there was no beef gravy, so we got sambar...and tea and snacks are available there... We can see the beef being cooked... everything is in a hall... Parking facility is less...bikes can be parked in front of the shop...but there is no car parking facility...service was good...
