    Amazing place to spend 1-2 hours! A feel very spiritual. There is a graveyard as well. Don’t visit if you feel scare at night😛. Apart from this people are friendly around. However lunch facility is not there though I saw lunch prices written somewhere. All the best

    St. George Syro-Malabar Catholic Basilica is a basilica of the Syro-Malabar Catholic Church in Angamaly, Kerala, India. It was constructed under the leadership of Paul Kariatty and it was consecrated on 31 December 2006. On 24 June 2009, Pope Benedict XVI raised St George Forane Church to the status of minor basilica.

It's very spacious and the interiors are really beautiful. near 800 meters from Angamaly(Kalady) railway station, 700 meters from Angamaly Police station & 800 meters from Angamaly K. S. R. T. C Bus Station..

    Very beautiful church. I've been here for a marriage function. That was my first time visit. The last moments of Jesus have picturised on the walls church. I really like it. And very peace ful area. Not too far away from angamali junction.

    On 24 June 2009,Pope benedict XVI raised St George Forane Church to the status of  minor basilica . Together with an underground parish hall where wedding gatherings are commonly held, it covers about 24,000 sq ft .It has three chandeliers that are switched on daily during the Holy Qurbana. As of April 2020, the rector of the basilica is Jimmy Poochakkattu.

    It's a beautiful church of the Catholic diocese of Ernakulam. It's very spacious and the interiors are really beautiful. It has a good ambience that helps people to pray. There are many fathers here who cater to the Syrian Catholics of the locality. There is also an Adoration Chapel.
