Visited this place in a weekend at around 5 pm to see the sunset. The sunset from the top of the hill was mesmerizing. The place was so beautiful with amazing scenery. Whole Rourkela city can be seen from top . The NIT building can also be seen from the top. Worth a place to visit with your friends. Just dont litter or make the natural place dirty. Do carry water bottles and some snacks too while treking the hill.

A beautiful place. Visit during winter. Start trek at 3pm to 4 pm reach the top click some beautiful photos in daylight and wait for sunset. The night view of Rourkela from the hill top is awesome.

Awesome experience for solo hiking ... awesome view from the top also🍃

We visited here on the new year of 2022. It was crowded because of the occasion and we had to go past several obstacles. The path was steep and one has to watch ones foot However, after a hard yet adventurous climb, lo behold. You will be presented with a magnificent view of the sunset, which is the major attraction. Furthermore, you would also get a sprt of aerial view of the beautiful city of Rourkela.

Such a lovely place to reveal ourselves with nature 👌Here a hindu goddess temple situated that is very popular to attract tourists.

You can see the entire Rourkela city from here. The view is great in summers but is quite hazy and dark in winters. Best time to visit is between 2-5 PM. Great place to click pictures. Great place to hang out with friends. Not safe to be visited alone or just in a group of girls. The terrain is high and experienced drivers would be required to go up the hill top and coming down ways would be more difficult. No food or drink facility available. Take your own food. Sweaters/jackets needed in winters. Let me know how was the place!!

The experience was Worthy . Although I went with cycle took me an average of 12-15 mins to go up . Walking won't be preferable or be ready for a backache . Aug 2023 - The way after the Shiv Temple is blocked . The blue one pic is of the Railway Station side and the other is of Sector-6 (Bhanja Bawan - Indian Flag) .

The 1st question on my mind was What is a hill station !? And then we start on our visit by scooty 🚴. When we reached , I understand that 🥰A hill station is a place which is situated on a little elevated land and is away from the busy city life🏔️🧗 A hill station is a place which is very different from city life🖼️. A visit to a hill station is the best treatment🤗when someone is going through "some sorrow or pain in life". The environment is very pure and beautiful, which makes it a special place to visit , specially on winter season.

After climbing the hardest steps you will get to see a beautiful view from the top. The whole rourkela is visible from the hill top. The wind that blows, the clouds that walk through the sky looks amazing 😍
