Let me give a very honest review so that the hotel management finds rooms for improvement. The rooms are spacious and comfy. In the suite room facing the roadside, the washroom drain out system should be done properly so that there's no water logging inside the washroom. Shower needs replacement(very less force). The food was very disappointing. We were served with pork that was not fully cooked. Fish curry Naga style we left it as it is after tasting a piece which was having some unfavourable smell. We managed some how the night with a disappointing dinner. The next morning our breakfast shocked us. We ordered Puri & parantha and tea which came almost colder than lukewarm water. And the puri & parantha was as hard as some hard paper in oil. The puri sabzi was fine though. Maintaining breakfast timing another issue. We made it clear to serve sharp at 8am but was served 30mins late. Why am I saying all these is because I want the management to really check into these areas as these are the basic but most important areas where a good hotel management should improve every day. With the cost in the menu, it was really disappointing to get such bad food. The hotel needs a much much better chef. Seemed like the Manager, the waiter and the chef are of a team of three young girls only. We didn't get to taste professional touch in the puri & parantha especially. Rooms for improvement: 1. Rectify the Suite & other rooms drain out system to avoid water logging inside the washrooms. 2. Rectify the fan regulator. In the suite there was just two speeds. One very low and the other like a chopper blade speed. 3. Seriously need a good chef and improve food quality to retain guests. 4. Maintain serving timings strictly because every guests has their daily schedules fixed and with a delayed breakfast, there are high chances of missing appointments/ delay in meetings especially with the Kohima traffic scenario, its more risky. Otherwise, Very good location. Courteous staffs. Spacious rooms. Good water 24*7. Clean rooms and comfy beds. Best tariff as compared to other hotels in Kohima(Pls do not compromise service/quality with the tariff). We hope in our next visit we see those changes in your hotel. We have some personal attachment to your hotel that is why it urged us to write honestly for you to improve and progress. Thank you and great going!

No as per the expectations. Service is good. Food is local type not a restaurant type. Location is not good enough due to connectivity but view is awesome. Need progress on room amenities and facilities. May arrange Airport pickup drop option. Food quality needs to upgrade. Service is good, behaviour is too 👍.

It’s a good hotel I have stayed there for a day only but very comfortable and good place it is . Food was also good and I have tried nagamese food also which good for the experience (very spicy 🌶) . Staff was very humble and good. And l liked the way how all girls are managing the hotel . If I visit Nagaland again this would be my place to live there .

A nice clean hotel which i would rate value for money. Good spacious rooms, clean and with ample storage facilities. Includes sofa, tea tables. Toiletatories, complimentary water, tea, coffee bags, hot water kettle all included. Ask for the mountain view rooms, thise have awesome views. All the staff are extremely polite and take immediate action on requests - excellent service. There is an Axis bank and ATM just one floor down. Restaurant is included, food tast can be improved, but prices are not too costly. One big downside though - no lift. All else good!!

It wasn't that good.... They charge 3500/- per night... And at night they will call you to come before 10:00PM. As they will shutter down there hotel.. which is totally unexpected... Its like living in a hostel where your warden calls you to come soon

Unexpectedly very lucky to stay here. The food, and the staff service was way too good than some star hotels. Even rooms are perfect, well cleaned and arranged. The staffs are really dedicated and hardworking and hospitality that's the most important thing to impress the guest and they have that strength on them. The staffs I interacted comfortably are Nilo, Angolu, Achi. They have that strength of dedication and hardwork. Really appreciated. I hope and wish the best for them and for the hotel as well. Will visit very soon again.

This hotel provides great service. Food is super delicious. To those who wanna try Naga food, the bambooshoot with meat, the hotel restaurant suits you. Location is great. Its on the main road of Kohima. Taxi is all around. I am from Thailand. I stay at the Hotel Ariel twice in March and May of 2023.

Kohima is one of the best destination of North East...Ariel hotel was good for stay and best time to go on Hornbill festival.

The Rooms are spacious, well furnished and neatly maintained. Even the bathroom was almost the size of a small room by itself. Very impressive. The staff were polite and courteous. The Hotel is located right next to the main road so the traffic might be an issue for rooms on that side. Room tariffs are on the medium range. Overall the amenities provided by the Hotel made the stay enjoyable.
