Beautiful location with even more beautiful hosts. They make u feel like home. Initially we planned on staying for a night, the place was clean and calm, food was good and the best part was the hosts. If you plan to visit Dzukou valley or explore the place, plan on staying here. The charges are very nominal and the owner also arranges local taxis as per your requirements. I had an excellent experience there. Thanks @ Native stories for such a welcoming stay.

An amazing place to stay near the Naga Heritage village… just walkable distance. What I loved is the hospitality from the host and his family. Food options were limited but tasty and made available as requested. Best part was the bunker bed spaces and the washrooms were super clean and well maintained. Loved the place and will definitely go back again

Location is approx 10 Km from kohima town but walkable distance (1.5km) from Kisama(Horbil festival location). Rooms are spacious, hygienic, with balcony. Dormitory is also available. Bathroom condition needs to be improved. They are friendly and guid you properly about kohima. Homely Food is available at extra cost. Parking is available for only one car.

We booked the bunk beds. It was decent. The quilts provided were very good. We aren’t used to cold weather but the quilts more than sufficed. Food was very good (we were lucky to find excellent vegetarian food as well here, something for which I was a bit apprehensive about). We were also served very good tea (milk tea, black tea, black rice tea). The highlight of the stay was the host Bb. One of the nicest and most delightful persons I’ve ever met. She arranged for all of our taxis, trip to dzukou (including arranging for sleeping bags), and even a guided tour in the Kigwema village. On our last day, Bb even baked a delicious cake for breakfast! The stay is also conveniently located close to the Hornbill festival, and has a good view of the mountains to wake up in the morning. Loved the experience. Will definitely be back again to cover the parts I missed visiting.

I had an excellent stay here. Hosts are extremely caring and do everything possible to ensure that you are comfortable. My daughters had a gr8 time with their pets. Location is really good for access to Kisama Heritage village for Hornbill festival. Thank you and keep up the good work.

A very convenient location with a great view, reachable easily for Hornbill Festival or trek point to Dzouku Valley. Very kind and warm hosts who make you feel at home. The place is very clean and all the amenities are arranged by the hosts. Highly recommended if looking to stay in Kisama village.

I loved everything about this place. The tiny little dorms with bunker beds had a cute ambience. Hot water was available in the common restroom with all the essentials that one needs. No smoking inside which really enhances the clean environment of the homestay. But at any point you want to, you can just go to the balcony without passing on passive smoke to the other occupants. The terrace will give you a clear view of the sky from where you can gaze at the stars and also chill with your group. I have been to Nagaland several times and it's beautiful, everyone you meet there will always try to help you in one way or another, but this homestay is the one that I will recommend to each and every folk visiting. Thank you to Neisatoh, Meno for being so helpful and to Meno's mom and sis for the very tasty food that did not let us miss home at all. Love love and love to you guys!!❀️

Amazing amazing hostel with the best hosts. Nestled away in a lovely location, Petevinou and her mom took super care of us and helped us plan everything. Food was A1! Neihito and his wife were amazing to talk to, and my favourite was luffy and luna. Definitely going back again. Missing them too!

It's a shared dorm. Staying there helped connect with travellers and helped me plan by trip further. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. We chatted quite a bit. One of the host even showed us around his village which was a great experience. Only downside is the extremely cold weather in winter and truck noises at night. Overall I'd recommend staying here.

Terrible experience here at native stories. The hosts were so rude, specially the girl who kept arguing with us over everything we asked for. She even misbehaved and threatened us to leave the property at late night. I have never seen this kind of home stay in my life. Bathroom was dirty. The kitchen and dining area were unhygienic as cats, kittens and dogs were roaming around and kittens had their home inside the kitchen. The entire property was had a foul smell thought out. Very dirty, very unhygienic and very unprofessional behaviour. Not recommending this place at all. And do not get fooled by the pictures you see in google like us because it’s very much different in reality. And those hosts made our stay really horrible, worst home stay hosts I have ever come across in my life.

Great place and really nice people. We visited Dzukou valley and saw other attractions in Nagaland like Khonoma and Kohima. Would definitely go back again and stay here.

We stayed 5 nights in their Dorm Rooms. the rooms had 4 bunks and a common washroom(which is hardly an inconvenience) shared amongst 12 dorm boarders. Neisato and BB are amazing hosts, we had great conversations with them. Food is freshly cooked and all meals are delicious. A lot of farm and kitchen garden produce is on display and used in the food preparation. The homestay is a short walk away from Hornbill festival grounds. Bonfires are lit at times in the cold weather. Sheets , bed linen n towels were freshly changed and smelt like home. Nights are really cold during hornbill, but they had sufficient blankets handy for us to use. They also help organize village walks, Dzouku and Mt Japfu treks.

I was on workcation and exploring Northeast. I stayed in the property for 8 days. The property is awesome and in winters they do have bonfire. Host are super friendly and welcoming. Baby and her mother were very nice to me. I got delicious breakfast and dinner. Its strange that there are hardly any restaurant which serve Naga food(even in capital city Kohima). So if you are a foodie and are looking to explore Naga cuisine then you must stay here. Apart from access to touristic location, one can also easily access nearby small villages and do small trek.

I have stayed for a week. Such a wonderful hospitality. Food they served is awesome. Homely atmosphere and caring host. They will guide if you need any help for traveling around Naga. They communicate well in English and Hindi. Location of the stay is fantastic. Everything is clean and neat. We will get a feel of living in a home. If anyone planning to visit Dozuko Valley and kisama village (where hornbill Happening), this is the perfect location and also nearby villages are easily accessible.

I was backing across Nagaland and this was the perfect place to meet other travellers. Also the hosts were amazing, they helped us explore the place and fed us home cooked food everyday. It didn't feel like we were being hosted, it just felt like family!
