Best time to visit would be Oct- March, before the rain decides to play spoil sport. We visited in the month of March, just in time to witness blooming Rhododendrons (for the first time)☺️ Road conditions aren’t that great. No food joints. For any of you planning to visit, highly recommended to pack your lunch, carry a mat- nature has her unique ways of boosting your appetite. How pleasing the experience was! Gives just about the required amount of good vibes.

Dzüleke is a small quaint village in Nagaland. I went with my husband this last week of November. We had a small trek in a nearby hill which our guide suggested. There's a lake nearby which is one of the main tourist attractions here. We booked our stay in Sotuno homestay. There were some 5 to 6 homestays which went on a rotational basis. Since the network here was very poor, booking prior is a bit of a difficult task. The only thing that disappointed me during our stay was that we made it clear we didn't want pork for our dinner. But the owner still provided us pork for both dinner and next day's breakfast charging us 300 per person. Since we are traveling we didn't want to have it. But still Aunt Sotuno provided us with pork boil, dal and rice. I hope tourist fooding priority also matters since there is no option to eat outside. The 2nd problem was the room had multiple tiny holes in it. As the entire village is quite cold it becomes difficult to stay in such conditions esp during night. If they addressed these issues, I hope it will provide the tourists to give good feedback about the whole experience after their stay.

Money can’t buy the camping experience at Dzuleke. Serenity at it’s best.

Breathtakingly beautiful!! But leaches in summer damn! Got few of 'em like vampires craving for my sweet blood. But the view and weather is so pleasant, the water is super cold, freezing. The streams among the lush green hills are beyond words.

One of the most picturesque destinations in Nagaland which is around 20km from Khonoma. A small village where you can lose yourself in the midst of green. There is no doubt that you will be fascinated by the breathtaking natural charm.

Quaint little village located right in the middle of the valley, few kilometres above the starting point of dzukuo valley trail. Clean and quite. Residents here are for cleanliness and preservation. Small homestays are dotted across the village but are few in numbers. Primarily a farming village.

Dzuleke's unique village , purely we experience the real unique village here. Organic food , pure air and no network here , from khonoma to Dzuleke the road is horrible. Apart from that the village is clean and I am from the countryside so I am not that excited. I feel the tribal atmosphere and the sunrise 🌅 here simply 😎 awesome.

Before everything else, I felt the need to thank God for giving us this Incredible Paradise on Earth and if I may also mention one of his servant Er. Visekholie Nakhro who happened to be a pioneering engineer fielded to Dzüleke to work out logistics in order to navigate ways and means to make it accessibly available to denizens near and far. He held the Dzüleke Project (one of his early projects) to heart to complete it within the time framed by the then authorities. He is an elderly cousin an uncle and we still proudly talk of his projects achieved during those days that how we brothers and cousins accompanied him on his extensive jungle routines to help built elegant grounds that once were thick impenetrable forests and impossible terrains. 'Dzüleke' is coined after leke=cave dzü=water for being a deepdown dark cave with gushing sound of flowing water coming from beneath the ground. Its the regular sound but it leaves one wondering why and how was the water flowing just normal beneath tall mountains and rocky terrain!! It has beautiful streams landscaping fields vast pockets of grassy lawns and countryside houses. Beautiful with its own sweet sunrises and sunsets. It is a galley of dreamy valleys amidst humps of rising mountains. The different sound of singing birds along your driveway to Dzüleke is a power bank to boost up the enthusiastic you. Everything here seem so untouched undeveloped unreal even the air here is O² '°°% you know. Want feel it then go to Dzüleke today.

A tiny village with around 30-40 households. Dzüleke is an offshoot village of Khonoma village. With its scenic and pristine beauty, visitors will surely fall in love with it.

This is also one of the place, where we can enjoy the natural scenic beauty. The air quality is too fresh, with those clear water streams flowing down beside the road n those small country type cottages adds the beauty to it. Love nature?? visit it!! But with least expectations.

Dzuleke is a charming village located near Kohima, Nagaland. The village is known for its picturesque natural beauty, with lush green forests and rolling hills. Visitors can enjoy trekking and hiking in the area, as well as bird watching and wildlife spotting. The village is also home to friendly locals who offer a warm welcome to visitors. The accommodations are basic but comfortable, and the food is delicious and authentic. Overall, Dzuleke is a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and immerse oneself in the peaceful and serene surroundings of the Naga hills.

With its beautiful church and a stream close by, it's a lovely spot to experience Naga culture, try local dishes, and enjoy nature walks.

Beautiful and very picturesque place, ideal place for family/friends picnic. Enough space for recreational games and activities, ideal for school children/ church picnics as well. And the clear stream flowing adds to the beauty of Dzulekie. There are many spots available for picnic or hangouts within Dzulekie. There is also a waterfall in Dzulekie which you can visit if time permits you. The other good thing is that Sheep Farm which is located at Poilwa Village, Peren dist. is just about 30-40 minites drive from Dzulekie (it's like killing two birds with one bullet right!). It's one of the beautiful places to visit in Nagaland. Enjoy this very scenic beauty and immerse yourself in nature but also take this as a reminder to clean your mess and not litter.

Dzuleke is a quaint, quiet, serene village with just about 30 houses. The location is amazing. Locals often come here for picnicking. There are lots of streams and paddy fields to explore. The homestays were great too. No qualms. I just wish the bathroom was well-maintained. We had to go to another homestay (where the rest of our group stayed) to use the bathroom/toilet. The food is good, and the people are very kind. There is no network here, so you're truly cut off from the bustling city life.

A small beautiful village lock away in the hills, away from crowd, noise and all the rush of today's world. A perfect place for a break. A great example of preservation of wild flora and fauna. On instances wild animals could be seen roaming freely near the village though it's totally safe to roam around. Village authority have done a well job to maintain hygeine in the village and adjoining picnic spots and a small nominal amount it taken as entry at the village which I think everyone coming to this place should make it a point to pay the authority to maintain the serene beauty of this place. Communication could be a problem as mobile network availability is hindered

Dzuleke is a beautiful village of the Angami tribe of Nagaland which is located near capital Kohima. It's an offbeat paradise and is off-grid so no internet and mobile network is very limited. If you're visiting Kohima then do plan out a night or two in this village to explore the beautiful countryside and also to observe the culture and traditional lifestyle of the native Angami people. Dzuleke became well known to the outside world as it was the first villages to ban hunting in order to protect their community forests. Check out Greener Pastures who arranges rural homestays for its guests at Dzuleke in the Nagaland tour of tribes itinerary.

😐 Good place for dayouting & family get togethers, the amenities are good. Pleasant full environment. Great location for picnic. But not much to explore and the road to the destination is just insane. If you are driving something with low ground clearance, good luck 👍
