Stayed
here
in
December
2016.
This
is
a
good
place
for
backpackers
or
for
transit
stay.
It
was
a
transit
stay
while
we
were
visiting
Khonoma
village
of
Nagaland.
Location:
Aurora
lodging
is
a
decent
stay
located
on
the
busy
Kohima
streets,
right
opposite
to
the
bus
stand.
Many
bakeries
and
other
shops
in
50
m
vicinity.
You
can
also
find
lot
of
local
vendors
selling
different
types
of
meat
if
you
walk
for
200
m.
Walking
distance
to
Kohima
war
memorial.
Room:
We
stayed
in
a
very
basic
room,
standard
double
room
with
street
view
from
the
window.
The
room
was
pretty
basic
and
small.
It
had
TV
and
was
no
AC.
Toilet
was
Indian
sitting
and
was
not
well
maintained.
Hence
won't
recommend
the
basic
rooms
to
families.
Service:
The
service
was
okish,
we
had
dinner
the
first
night
and
breakfast
the
next
morning.
Food
was
good
and
food
service
was
average
as
well.
But
the
slight
disappointment
was
during
check
out.
We
wanted
to
pay
the
night
before
check
out,
but
the
manager
was
not
available
and
so
they
asked
us
to
clear
the
bill
in
the
morning.
We
had
an
early
morning
bus,
when
we
arrived
at
the
reception
in
the
morning,
all
their
staff
was
sleeping
on
the
floor
and
there
was
nobody
to
attend
us.
After
waking
up
one
of
the
staff
we
would
finally
check
out.
