Interesting products for sale. On one level you’ll find vegetables, worms, frogs and small rodents for eating. Down on the butcher’s level they’ll sell dog, geese, chicken, cow, pig. Scattered throughout the complex are small general stores that sell anything you might need.

Best place to see and buy indigenous organic local produce. Below the market you can get clothes and shoes at cheap price but you should know how to bargain.

It may well be called the ‘INA’ Market of Kohima, because you get just about anything as long as you have money. If you are looking for a place to know more about the various Naga delicacies, this is the place to go. This market offers everything from frogs and local fishes to fresh veggies and clothes. If you are searching for some rare delicacies which is not available in other local markets, you might find it here

Sells everything ranging from Local fruits and vegetables to clothes, shoes, second hand garments. There is a meat section down below too, if you're looking for some fresh non-vegetarian material to cook.

A great shopping hub for everything organic foods, goods, stuffs,& second hand clothes. Prices depends on our bargaining skills, but no proper infrastructure , very congested location & it's not a clean place.

If one knows how to bargain, this is a good market but getting parking space will be difficult.

You can get all kinds of local, fresh and organic vegetables in this market

  • 3/5 Lika M. 2 years ago on Google
You get a lot of local products but the non local products are also repackaged and sold as local ones. I don't mind paying for non local products but they claim as local which is not good business. You also get exotic luxury super expensive food items here only for rich people.

Finding a parking space is the main issue, or else you have a variety of local stuffs to buy from here. Prices of certain items needs to be regulated.

Awesome, I mean it's just a daily market but one can find all sorts of vegetables and many different species or I should say delicacies. During my visit, I saw rodents, silkworms, water worms and many more. As a first time visitor I am 😄.

It's a lifeline for many families living in and around , they can sell there farm products and poultry here and make a decent living. Government administration doesn't maintain the road properly otherwise the local farmers could have brought more items to sell and made some money and improve their standard of life but then Nagaland government is the epitome of corruption and not only the present govt it includes all the past governments .

  • 4/5 Peter R. 4 years ago on Google

A delight to the senses-for the eyes as well the nose. The best of local and non local produce at great prices. Almost all Kohima households shop for their lunch or dinner from this place.

(Translated by Google) A market like a labyrinth. The illusion of selling candles and selling fish gives the illusion that they have fallen into the Middle Ages. (Original) 迷宮のようなマーケット。ロウソクを灯し魚を売っている様は中世に紛れ込んだかの錯覚を覚える。

This place is robust and filled with my fav goodies. I believe it is the same for any hardcore nagas out there. From frogs to bees to Woodworms and vegetables and fruits it's almost a heaven for me. Also just adjacent to it we get good thrift clothes. Bonus

The place is a bit unhygienic but you will find mixed up business like some parts are selling organic and non vegetables, some meat like beef, chicken, pork, etc and alot of cheap quality cloths mostly by non local people probably from Assam.
