We really had a great experience dining in at Lady Loafella. A bit on the expensive side, but worth a try. All the ingredients used were fresh. We had a salad, a main course and a dessert along with a drink. All were up to the mark. Inside seating is lil congested, swings were a different treatment but found it inconvenient while using cutlery. But overall ambience and design of the place standout. Staff were polite but lacked the knowledge of how the dishes were prepared. It would be a nice experience to understand the food we are having.

Have gone there a few times now. Parking is available nearby. The food is excellent but expensive. The staff is friendly and helpful. The menu is different and exquisite. I've tried burgers , sandwiches, pasta and croissants. All was good. The marshmallow drink was too sweet though. There is outside seating available, but during rain, it's a mess. There are rope suspended seats, but it's not very comfy.

Arguably one of the best Caesar salad I’ve ever had. Also loved the overall ambiance of the place, tried the burger also and it was also a good. Wanted to try some of their in-house breads which they’re famous for but didn’t get to it, hopefully will get to try it next time.

Great place to have a relaxed meal. I would recommened reservig esp if its a weekend. The staff is super courteous. We really loved their bread based dishes. All of them were well prepared and reasonable in quantity. Their bread loafs are also very good and I'd recommend the babka bread which is more like a cake (great to have with tea)ade with dark chocolate. The French toast is a must have. Some of the dishes maybe expensive by kozhikode restaurant standards but they justify their cost by the quality of ingredients, preparation, service and uniqueness. Ample parking space but limited seating inside (5 tables) and about as many outside

I recently visited here and unfortunately, my overall experience was quite underwhelming. Although I had the opportunity to try a variety of items from their menu, including the tender coconut mousse shake, fig, honey and dates shake, chocolate cookies crisp shake, signature beef burger, and fettuccine rosemary smoked chicken pasta, there were several aspects that left me dissatisfied. Let me start with the positives. The fig shake was truly delicious and I highly recommend it to anyone visiting this cafe. One of the highlights was that they didn't add any extra sugars to their shakes; all the sweetness came from the ice cream they used, which was a welcome touch. However, the chocolate shake was just average, nothing particularly noteworthy. Now, let's talk about the tender coconut shake, which was an absolute disappointment. It was by far the worst shake I have ever had. The flavors were completely off, and I regretted ordering it. This single shake alone tainted my impression of the cafe. Moving on to the food, their signature beef burger was mediocre at best. The sauces they used made it overly sweet, which was not to my liking. It failed to live up to the hype surrounding it. On the other hand, I must admit that I thoroughly enjoyed their fettuccine rosemary smoked chicken pasta. The flavors were well-balanced, and it was the standout dish of my visit. However, one significant issue I encountered during my visit was the presence of flies in the cafe. It was quite off-putting and affected the overall ambiance and dining experience. I hope the management addresses this concern promptly to maintain cleanliness and customer satisfaction. Additionally, I must acknowledge that the ambiance of the cafe was quite pleasant. The inclusion of swing chairs at the tables added a unique and enjoyable touch to the overall atmosphere. The seating arrangement was comfortable, and it created a relaxed and inviting environment. Moreover, I found the staff to be friendly and accommodating. They were attentive to our needs and provided prompt service throughout our visit. Their courteous behavior did contribute positively to the dining experience. In conclusion, my experience at this cafe was disappointing. Despite the positive note of the fig shake and the enjoyable fettuccine pasta, the subpar tender coconut shake, average signature burger, and the presence of flies greatly affected my overall impression. Taking everything into account, I regretfully cannot recommend this place based on my visit.

I visited Lady Loafella based on a recommendation from my friends. While the food was tasty, the show casing of food and the ambience were good, I was disappointed with the overall experience. The staff made us wait for 15 minutes before taking our order, and the prices were quite high. Additionally, I noticed that the bottle containing drinking water had not been cleaned in a long time, as there was green algae at the bottom (check images attached). To make matters worse, there were rats running around the café, which was quite unsettling. Overall, I would not recommend this café to others due to these issues. While the food and ambience were good, the poor service, high prices, and unclean conditions make it difficult to enjoy the experience. I know, this is a cafe which is famous with a rating of more than 4, it is highly appreciated if the management taken necessary actions for this.

As known, they have a great atmosphere and service. Coming to the dishes, the fettuccine pasta was good, the croissant sandwich is average as the dressing of the salad in it wasn't good and fresh and the molted chocolate dessert was poor as well. Also we ordered a strawberry shake which was delicious. Considering all the factors, it is a good place to visit once.

Had a good time with family, food was good, ambience was good but not enough tables.The idea of having swings for seat is definitely not a good idea as the rope keeps getting in the way and you can't eat properly, increasing the width a bit might help and please keeps a cushion for the back. Good staff but they could serve with a smile. It is located very far from Calicut town and it is definitely a bad idea to drive through Sunday traffic to get to the restaurant. Expected the place to be crowded but it was not. Please do something about the flies. It ain't a good thing to see flies on the dining table. Below comment is a reply to the owner, as I couldn't find a way to respond to their message. Please do you mind explaining what is serene about the location? And when I said the staff could serve with a smile I did not mean they were bad. They were good but it is wonderful always to have a smiling face. About the ambience being contemporary European, it looks good but the swing used, the position the ropes are very uncomfortable to sit on and eat. Went to Lady loafella again, I would like to appreciate them on the message well recieved, as the staff was extremely kind and served with a smile. 😊 Food was excellent! Not very happy with the seating. 3 to 4 star!

Mind blown!. We ordered two fettuccine pastas, one with artichoke and other with chicken, both were really good. We also ordered the spring chicken Platter which was good in both quantity and taste. We tried the chicken crossaint as well which is a must try. Lady loafella is by far one of the best cafes in calicut in terms of quality and taste.

Me and mom went here for the lunch last Saturday. I liked this place alot but I had a bad experience from there. When we entered inside the cafe a man in black and black with moustache asked how many of us are there. My mom replied only two and he rudely replied you can sit outside because inside sittings are totally filled. Then my mom asked him if we wait how long will it take to get a seat inside. He again with not so polite attitude said, I don’t know if you want you can sit outside. We went there for lunch and it’s too hot outside. I emphasised to him that it’s too hot outside so we will wait to get a seat inside. But he was not much care about that fact and said the same, that if you want you can sit outside. This is not the way to treat customers in a premium cafe like that. Since we travelled all the way from Thalassery to explore this cafe, we had such a bad first impression from the staff over there. We had lunch from there, the food quality is good but I don’t think I will visit that cafe again. Because me and my mom got such a bad vibe from that staff. I forgot to ask his name. Beautiful cafe with good interior and landscaping but only I felt was so negativity because of him. There was a lady there, who explained me about all the breads they serve there,and their breads are good too. Usually when my friends asks which are the new cafeterias to explore in Calicut, I suggest them the best from my explored list. But am sorry to say I won’t suggest this cafe, because of the bad experience I had from him. The cafe have great standard and luxurious looks. But I suggest to appoint staff with that standard and also appoint someone who can handle your customers politely. Otherwise people won’t come again there.

Lady Loafella, you get the best croissants in kozhikode here!! I tried the pasta, fettuccine rose mary smoked chicken, which was soo good in taste and the quantity was quite good for 2 people. And also tried their Peach ice tea, which was soo good in flavour.. a must visit place. Avoid peak hrs as there are only limited seats inside. Don’t miss out on trying their best croissants too!!

The cafe is constructed with a very beautiful vibe and atmosphere. The interiors and the exteriors were really amazing. The swing chairs and the white decor was beautiful. The service was perfect as well. The staff was very friendly and cooperative. There was a slight mix of order. Apart from that everything was perfect. The food on the other hand is a miss or go. Their signature burger , Ceasar salad and the semi brioche sandwich was absolutely delicious. The chicken and beef pastas ordered were a disappointment. Same is the case of drinks as well. Apart from the Mojitos ordered all the other drinks were disappointing. Overall if you order the right food, it's going to be a great experience.

The Interior and exterior of the cafe is wonderful. We ordered a croixwich and hot chocolate, both were good. However, the prices are a bit high although I find that might be obvious. The service was great as well. Nice experience overall, we enjoyed it. Also, amazing presentation!

Tried Kombucha for the first time in my life. All the flavours are good. Tried the brownies, studded with hazelnut. Though the place is a bit off the city centre, it’s well accessible by road. Getting there by bus is easy as well.

Tasty and decent portion food. Drinks were nice but a little high on sweet. Kids will also find their choices. Overall a good experience. Another highlight is car paking which was easy.

The ambience and the aesthetics of this cafe have my heart. With ample seating both indoors and outdoors this is a great place to have conversations with your loved ones while enjoying some spectacular food. I tried 5 dishes from here all of which were excellent: 1. Strawberry Smoothie 2. Lady Loafella Croi Wich (chicken) 3. Mascarpone French Toast 4. Iced Latte 5. Spicy Beef Balls, Bucatini Pasta and Vegetables I found the iced latte to be a bit too sweet but that can also be due to personal taste. This cafe is truly a different experience that you will not find anywhere else in Calicut. They have a pretty great menu with a lot of different options to try and the plating is simply delightful. The one negative I have to say is that there were some flies around inside which is unhygienic and dampens the dining experience having to swat them away. The perils of summer! It's not situated in the heart of the city so travel would be recommended with your own vehicle. But overall I would definitely recommend Lady Loafella for a great dining experience.

Recently happened to visit this place.Amazing ambience. The tables inside wer pre-occupied on early reservations and it was sunny at the outdoor premises.But the staff were kind enough to seat us at the party hall inside since there were many of us.The gentleman named Steve was pleasant and generous taking the orders even on special request to get a cheese omelette instead of a plain one, and high was quite appreciated 👏🏻.The breakfast menu was splendid and well presented and tasty as well!Definetely worth a visit!

Their almond croissant is heavenly. The rest of the dishes felt average. Ordered strawberry banana smoothie and watermelon juice, won't recommend either, the watermelon juice felt like drinking coloured water, hardly felt like it had any flavour of watermelon. Also ordered Cheese bagel and pancakes. The beagle was good, didn't like the texture of the pancakes.

Despite the restaurant being mostly empty, he made us wait, which left a poor first impression. However, I must emphasize that the exceptional food compensated for this initial disappointment.

One of the most aesthetic cafes in Calicut with amazing ambience and vibes. They have a good outdoor seating area. This cafe serves a variety of in house breads, croissants, sourdough, kombucha etc. all their dishes are unique with different flavors. The taste is decent but not everyone will enjoy it. Their sandwiches are really fresh and different. This cafe has definitely maintained high standards in terms of their menu as well as their service. The service is really good with very professional and welcoming staffs. A good place to try out some very different dishes. The rates are slightly overpriced but they maintain the quality of their food and service for the rates. One of the most instagrammable spots in Calicut. Very good parking area also available.

The ambience was great. We were seated outside so the service was poor because we had to wait for a long time for someone to come and attend to us. The food quantity as expected was very less and the amount was too high.

The food was excellent and so was the service. Especially we like to thank Neha who helped us choosing the lovely delicious food. We had Croi wich wich Chicken , SEMI BRIOCHE MUSHROOM AND ORANGE CHILLY JAM,MUSHROOM VOL-AU-VENT which was awesome..The restaurant has a vey nice ambiance and very have good parking facilities .We really enjoyed our dinner and would like to recommend this place to all the food lovers.Thank you for making our evening ( great ) different . Visited Lady Lofella a few weeks back. First of all the staff who took our order wasn’t well aware of the menu, we asked a few doubts regarding the starters and she was clueless however she advised us after discussing with her co-worker and suggested ‘Beef Keema Flaky Wheel’ which was pretty tasty. The service was very slow and they even gave us the wrong drink that we didn’t even order. They forgot to give us plates and we had to wait for five minutes to catch their attention in order to remind them. We felt like they were incapable to manage the crowd thus resulting in situations like this. The service should be better and more efficient. Regarding food, as mentioned above enjoyed the ‘Beef Keema Flaky Wheel’. Didn’t enjoy the ‘Fettuccine Rosemary Smoked Chicken Pasta’, we couldn’t complete it. Ordered ’Beef Goulash and Chimchuri Rice’, this particular dish wasn’t that bad nor remarkable. We ordered ‘Passion Fruit Sangria’, it was good and thus repeated it, however, the repeated one was too sweet! We noticed that most of their customers were ordering bread-related dishes, if that’s what’s their speciality, we guess it would be great if they suggest those dishes too. The food altogether wasn’t up to the mark and the service should be improved.

I visited Lady Loafella recently, and I have to say, while the cafe looks really nice and cozy, I ran into a few problems during my visit. The cafe has a lovely atmosphere that sets a good mood, but there were quite a few flies buzzing around, which wasn't great. I ordered a Steak Sourdough Sandwich and a Fettuccine Rosemary Smoked Chicken Pasta. Unfortunately, both dishes were just okay. The sandwich had tough and dry beef, because it was over-cooked and it really needed more of that tasty sauce to give it more flavor. The pasta had similar issues. The chicken was overcooked, making it dry and not very tasty. The pasta itself was quite heavy and creamy. But on a brighter note, I have to give a shout-out to their potato wedges that came with the sandwich – they were really good. So, in a nutshell, Lady Loafella has a nice vibe, but the food could use some improvements. I hope they can make these changes to make the dining experience better.
