This temple consists of 6 shrines ->1) Kannimoola Ganapathy, 2) Sonaiah Swamy(Guarding God of the temple who resembles Karuppa Swamy), 3)Amma Mitto, 4)Neervanna Perumal, 5)Pookuli Sakthi Muthulakshmi Amman, 6)Anjali Anjaneyar. Naga devathas, Siva lingam,... are kept under a Banyan tree inside the temple premises. Festivals and celebrations: 1) The Main festival of this temple is Thaipoosam, the day when Goddess Pookkuli amman destroyed her mortal body in the auspicious fire and got merged with the supreme power as immortal. This was happened thousand years ago, people say that this was happened in the Rani Mangammal's Period. On that day, poojas will be done from the morning itself and thousands of people throng to the temple. Annathanam will be provided after the noon pooja. After that people who planned to carry auspicious milk pots (Paalkudam) will go to Vaigai river with the Archagars and the temple heads to make it. They carry those milk pots from the river to the temple. Then the Pookkuli (devotees walk on the fire-bed, as an offering)function will be conducted. At night, the milk from those milk-pots will be used for anointing the deities and finally concluded with pooja. 2) MahaSivaratri festival will also be celebrated by anointing Sonaiah Swamy and by offering pooja. 3) On Thai Amavasa and Aadi Amavasa, special poojas will be offered to Sonaiah Swamy. 4) AadiPooram Bangle Ceremony will also be conducted. 5) Shardha Navaratri festival will be celebrated grandly by decorating the Pookkuli Sakthi Muthulakshmi Amman in the different forms of Sakthi on those 9 days and cultural events like Bajans, Classical dance,..... will also be conducted. 6) On Puratasi Saturdays, special poojas will be offered to Neervanna Perumal. 7) On Vaikunda ekadashi, Neervanna Perumal will be decorated with flowers instead of Jewels. 8) Other than these days, devotees make Sarkarai Pongal (Sweet Pongal) and offer pooja to the deities on tuesdays and fridays. 9) On Saturdays and Sundays, People come and offer prayers at this temple.
