The ambience is too good. 7 temples are there. they all are cursed by a queen. It's sceneric views are awesome. but you have to walk too much for these 7 temples. If you start from the 1st temple, then you have to finish all 7 temples.Because they all are in a single way from parking to parking.. Near these temples, there you can see the kaveri river, where you can go boating. such a nice place, you should visit once at least.

Must visit places from bangalore. Nice panchlingewar temple. Very old temple. Car parking is available. Must see the carving of the temple. How rich our ancestors are making chains from a single stone.

the temples were covered in sand, giving it a unique and mystical charm. The place is beautiful, featuring numerous temples and offering a delightful 2 km walk with picturesque river-side views. However, do keep in mind that they charge an entry fee, and if you're interested in the stories behind the temples, guides are available to provide insights. On the downside, there is a prevalence of old people asking for money, which can be somewhat bothersome during your visit. Nonetheless, Talakadu remains a captivating destination worth exploring for its historical significance and natural beauty

Great Sculptures, Indian heritage, art and the beauty of nature. Talakadu, Mudukutore, are on the banks of river Kaveri. About 4hrs journey from Bengaluru. Mallikarjuna Temple and 5 Shiva temples are the highlights of Talakadu - Land of Sands. Very calm and oldest pilgrim place, also well maintained. Please carry your own food if you are planning to visit for a day trip. Food available is not of good taste, also it's expensive. Do not try Tatte Idli here as you will be disappointed.

Visiting the five talakadu temples is an experience in itself. The temples are ancient and give you a surreal feel of divinity. Talakadu is literally a desert surrounded by river, a true miracle unto itself, which however your feet won't thank you for. It is extremely tedious to wade through the sand for nearly 3 kms, however, when you are done, you really feel like you had indeed accomplished something!

Historic temple built with stone which is beautifully constructed with lots of hand crafted work. The place is very good with pleasant atmosphere and good experience will be surely presented. There is a beach near by surrounded to the temple. Probably 200m to the beach where we can chill up after visiting the temple, the temple provides calmness and peace that people drive to...
