Our family had a really great time at Stoep Cafe on our last stop. After driving for a couple hours to cross the border from Mozambique it was a very welcome stop to make. The menu had a great variety of options and each meal was enjoyed. The staff are very friendly and the overall environment is very happy and peaceful. Our little kids enjoyed pottering around the garden and seeing the fish etc. Definitely a must visit if you are in Komatipoort.

Very lovey restaurant, food was very good, well plated / presented and very tasty. Would highly recommend them and will definitely go there again when I am in the area next.

Comfortable and relaxing seating. Offers a wide selection of meals tasty and beautifully presented. Great coffee with Almond milk available....well done Stoep Cafe. The breakfasts were scrumptious. Staff friendly, attentive and professional. Can recommend the Stoep Cafe.

We had a wonderful, delicious brunch! There are many options to choose from, interesting and well worth a try! Thembi is professional and friendly and really went the extra mile. We'll be back!

Food not up to standard. Spare ribs were served cold. Hamburger (with sauce) was so dry, I could barely swallow it. Can't complain about the service, because it was non existent.

The peri-peri sauce was absolutely wonderful and so were the burgers, thank you!

We did not eat anything, but the rooms were very nice. The bathrooms do not have doors on them and the AC in our room did not work. But it was over all a good night's sleep

A lovely stop-over, fabulous restaurant. A very noisy generator next to the room during load shedding. Maybe the generator can be moved or sound-proofed?

Food was well presented and very tasty. They have a huge variety on the menu.. Happy customer😋

Stopped in for a quick lunch. Had a lovely burger which had a hone made patty. Really tasty. Nice cold Hunters for a steamy hot day. Definitely a nice pop in for a meal.

Had a breakfast of chicken livers with two eggs and pap. Very different but delicious. Service was excellent. We'll be back.

Food is great here. My only challenge was the generators next to the room. Very noisy. UPS in the room should be hidden blue light too bright at night.

We had a late dinner for four persons after sunset drive. Friendly service and excellent food. We recommend this restaurant.

Great food service poor must call yourself for service, staff is standing around and chat with each other except for helping customers menue out of date, waiters take orders without writing it down, when order arrives food wrong, wait for stuff ordered never arrived, very disappointed

Great service and communication. Big spacious apartments with all the amenities including rechargeable fans and air-conditioning in room and lounge. Full kitchen. A few separate comfy beds and extra blankets. Secure and safe. Full working DSTV bouquet and TV. Nice pool and outdoor area. Friendly cat. Plenty of nice fluffy towels and nice hand wash, body wash, and shampoo. Peaceful and serene. The kettle needs to be cleaned though due to like scale build up and the open shower is a bit small so a lot of water gets into the bathroom floor so perhaps a mop in the bathroom or raising the ledge.

Something for every taste on the menu. The presentation of the food was excellent. We enjoyed their chicken mayo salad which was a huge serving and very tasty. The waiter was friendly and service was quick. Liked the Illy Coffee they serve.

Excellent service! Excellent food! Best breakfast we've had in a very long time. Served under the trees in the garden. I highly recommend this place and the Ciabatta French Toast breakfast.

Cappuccino and hot chocolate was devine...I personally felt the prices to be a bit on the expensive side.

What a pity that this once "hidden Gem" has become what it is now. We used to visit this on purpose whilst in the Kruger. We would take a special trip out of the Park just to come and enjoy those incredible value for money "Jaffles" Illy Coffee and salads. Now the portions are so small and lacking any form of attention that one thinks they are merely a starter, which of course they are not. We also chose to sit outside in the shade and it was still very early in the morning, it was not busy, but clearly our attendance didn't suit the preoccupied waitress because we were almost completely ignored. The menu also seems to have shrunk into the normal basic stuff so all " special so called recipes, were gone. And prices have gone through the Roof. 😔😓

Lovely little restaurant next to the road really gives you that small town feeling where you can relax with a nice cup of coffee while enjoying there beautiful and original garden great food on the menu aswell

The food was very good. Service was poor and unfriendly, and the staff were very, very loud! Shouting instructions at each other, even from outside to inside. Certainly deteriorated considerably since our visit last year.
