This is probably one of the most beautiful places I have ever been. In a private game reserve, just next to the Kruger Park, on the top of a hill, so every room (that looks like a rock!) has a stunning view over the valley. The restaurant where you dine and have breakfast looks like a treehut, and also has the most magnificient view. The second night diner was served in the open air, in an African 'boma'. Really a place worthwhile. Check it out if you have ever get the chance.

A fantastic view with insane rooms, located on top of a mountain as the name suggests. The staff is a bit laid back for what it could be but the whole experience was great, lots of lizards too! Strongly recommend for anyone looking for a fancy lodge in the mountains of South Africa!

I didn't stay here, my kids just did a horse back safari. BUT OMG what a stunning gem in the middle of nowhere. I will definitely book a week here soon. It was like living with the Flintstones except 5 star ❤❤

The best primitive luxury accommodations I've seen in ages. The staff is a little slow in the attention to service, but they are very sincere and very helpful when you need them. The views are outstanding, accommodations are lovely, and the food is very good.

Nice experience, grath view and an excellent Boma. But 2 points reducig the rating. Fitst its forbidden for Lodge guest to go on its own on gamedrives in the reserve and second the not allways very friendly and helpful employees.

We had a great stay at Manyatta Rock Camp. The service was excellent and the food was quite good. The view from the room was gorgeous. The room itself was comfortable. We would stay here again.

Well, the place itself is really cool with a beautiful view over the park, but there's not much of an advantage of being there rather than having a stay in the Kruger park. There's a private reserve but we barely saw anything interesting in there, there's a tiny pool that is very dirty, the drinks are not included and the staff doesn't seem very professional (they always look surprised or annoyed when you come and ask for something). You'd expect for a lost place like this to be a little paradise where you can live in a bubble for days but it just doesn't feel that way. Too bad because the scenery is incredible!
