Easily the most beautiful and serene camp...it just feels right! Lots of game near the perimeter of the camp, lovely trees, great camping area with entertaining resident warthogs, the Crocodile River lulling you to sleep at night. Very neat and clean, well-maintained. Yep, really loved our stay here!

Although I have not yet stayed over, we usually make it our first stop to use their clean facilities and have coffee. The shop is neat, well stocked and has friendly staff. There is a small nursery, filling Station and a picnic spot for day visitors. The sightings around Crocodile Bridge is always good as well.

It is a beautiful little resort, safaris here are really good and we also had great sightings here. It has a coffee shop and grocery shop as well, though one thing missing is a restaurant. Highly recommend it.

This a small rest camp and all the better for it. We stayed in one of the huts which has aircon and the facilities you need to cook. The shop is well stocked and staff friendly. There are plenty of camping pitches yeses by rv’s caravan’s and tent of all types. But the real joy is being so close to nature the animals come to the fence and the sights are wonderful the Elephant picture was taken at 5.30am over the fence. Come visit and enjoy

Stayed in the tents right on the Sabie river with the rapids gushing 24/7 . A wonderful setting and very peaceful Dinner and the bar area are also about 30m from the river. A lovely setting with a little boma area for the evenings You have an option of eating at the restaurant, breakfast and dinner included or just book a room. There is also a lodge The tents were great, had everything we needed, although some back up lights or power would have made everything perfect. It doesn't impact the restaurant area though, so meals always served on time. As we went to the Kruger park every morning, breakfast packs were arranged for us which were awesome All the staff were great , Lynette, Heath, the restaurant staff and Aiden definitely the star for us , and made our stay very pleasant Phabeni gate of the Kruger is about a 20min drive from Lions Rock

Rustic rest camp, but such a lovely vibe. The Park Shop is stocked with a wide variety of products, and staff are so friendly. While you are here try their coffee shop. I had an amazing Americano.

Overnight stay was very comfortable. Little kitchen attached to the bungalow with a huge fridge. Good bathroom facilities inside the rooms. Shop on site where you can buy coffee/tea or hot chocolate. Camping and caravan sites available on premises. Warthog, little buck, monkeys and mongoose roaming freely on the grounds. We enjoyed our stay.

Gate camp. Just passed through. Coffee shop opens early for coffee. Get your Wild Card sorted at the entrance office. Fill up your tank and clean the windows at the fuel station. Toilets are available and clean. Start your game view drive from here and drive north, west or east. Buy some sweets and drinks before you take off. You can also book to stay overnight. I don't know if there is any restaurant in this camp. I will make sure next time.

Two days in a row the pre-booking system work like a charm, then..........on day three....no system, deducts money twice from bank account, no confirmation letter.....thus, lets see what they do at the gate tomorrow morning when I pitch......! Just when you thought you should pay them a huge compliment.

This was probably the quietest camp in all of Kruger National Park. Really clean camp sites and it's a small rest camp compared to the others. The have a great shop to get snacks and anything else you need to enjoy your stay. Tons of animals outside of this rest camp too and beautiful views during the drive. Would definitely stay here again!

Not one of my favorite camping places on this trip. The pumping station at river is very loudly. Poor rondavels tenants! But even in camp you can hear it. Quite cramped and also with electricity which always attracts dstv dishes, oversized caravans, etc. check in was 1.5 h, but it was first day of school holidays to be fair.

If you are looking for basic accommodation for your safari, this is a good place. The rooms are basic, yet comfortable. Our room had 3 single beds, a wash basin, toilet and shower. Outside was a fridge, microwave, stove top, kitchen and a place to make a fire and cook food. The room was serviced every day and dishes were washed and cleaned every day. Wildlife was all around and the sounds made you feel like you were right there in the bush.

Pleasant experience amd the staff was friendly. The Kruger National Park is one of those places you have to see to understand how beautiful it is. We loved every moment.

Edit/- on my way back down this terribly mannered staff member spoke like a government official to the lady in front of us who was lost. Unwilling to help her. When it was out turn she was so rude cos if our entrance from Pafuri and roof just to explain to security at the gate if we want to leave. Meanwhile we had stayed two night at Punda and shenhwezi. Al male intervened to say we can have an exit stamp. And she sighed while signing one off. This was on the Saturday 22nd at 14:15. This big lady does not deserve to have a job dealing with public. She’s a disgrace. Ablutions clean and well Run establishment

We stayed in a Safari tent. The tent was neat and near the fence which was great. Reception was not that great, but the shop staff was very friendly. Bathrooms are clean, but dated. The camp itself is very quiet and neat.

One of the nicest rest camps in the Kruger. The rondevals have been refurbished with nice new appliances, and all have great views over the river. The staff are friendly, and though there is no restaurant, the shop will supply what you need. Enjoyed the wildlife visiting the camp, including a family of friendly warthogs and a little duiker.

An excellent restaurant is one that provides a memorable culinary experience in every aspect. Here are some details that would contribute to an excellent restaurant: 1. **Diverse Menu:** Offers a variety of dishes, including options for different dietary preferences, such as vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. 2. **Quality Ingredients:** Uses fresh and high-quality ingredients, preferably local and seasonal. 3. **Talented Chef:** Has an experienced and skilled chef who creates creative and flavorful dishes. 4. **Impeccable Service:** The staff is courteous, attentive, and knowledgeable about the dishes, providing excellent customer service. 5. **Cozy Atmosphere:** Provides a welcoming and pleasant environment with decor that matches the restaurant's concept. 6. **Attention to Detail:** Pays attention to details such as table settings, lighting, and background music to create a pleasant atmosphere. 7. **Wine List:** Offers a selection of high-quality wines that complement the food. 8. **Delicious Desserts:** Provides irresistible desserts to finish the meal on a high note. 9. **Accessibility:** Considers accessibility for individuals with special needs, including ramps and adapted restrooms. 10. **Good Location:** Is conveniently located, whether in the city center, by the waterfront, or in a unique setting like within a safari. 11. **Sustainability:** Promotes sustainable practices such as recycling, reducing food waste, and using organic ingredients. 12. **Easy Reservations:** Offers the option to make online reservations to ensure a smooth experience for customers. In summary, an excellent restaurant goes beyond delicious food, incorporating all of these aspects to provide a complete and memorable experience for its customers.

Wish I could give 10 stars. Stayed in marloth and did day trips into the park at the camp. The rangers controlling the croud at the front gate before bridge were absolutely fantastic and explained everything clearly. Staff at the entrance to the park were also fantastic. But on top of all was the staff at the shop, they are the best and most enthusiastic people I saw all holiday. Well done Crocodile Bridge

We had the most amazing stay, we did camp but it was stunning, i did however feel that the bathrooms are a little bit outdated and the tiles were lifting off the shower floor, also as a suggestion, not many people bath anymore so it might be worth revamping the bathrooms and adding an extra shower but otherwise it was absolutely stunning, i could camp there for a year lolol, shop staff are so awesome and so friendly really rrally stunning spot

As we didn't pre-book, it was a long wait to get in to the Kruger Park. However, it didn't dull our experience. The safe were super friendly and helpful. The only downfall is that the leaflet given at the gate is not helpful. They should have a more informative leaflet with information such as the Sabie petrol station is closed and certain road closures as well as a map.

I loved staying here. The generator was broken and we had loadshedding and May was very hot. As with goverment workers always, the office workers was not the friendliest vs the private sector the hospitality trade are always friendly. There is no restaurant. Lots of animals and inside the camps also, beautiful.

Small camp, lovely atmosphere. Perimeter chalets very pleasant. You can get excellent coffee and shop in the store for supplies and gifts. Definitely worth staying a few nights

Love the friendly staff but we struggled with wifi signal to pay for fuel. Tourist shop is outstanding with all your amenities. Just noticed the public Toilets are full of hickey spider webs.

The experience with the animals and nature was amazing, but the facilities were actually very bad, big lack of maintenance, very dirty shared bathrooms, and very poor food options in the grocery shop. We recomend to stay in a private guest house outside the park it will be probably cheaper and cleaner.

Visited briefly in November 2022. Shop had the basics. Coffee was good. Sandwiches were okay but not fabulous.

Nice little shop. Has everything you need. And the gifts and curios are awesome. I bought 2 Kruger activity books for the kids - it would be nice if they can stock some crayons to use the books while in the park.

A lovely, quiet little camp with good facilities. Well situated in the southern part of the Park where game is plentiful. We took an afternoon game drive along the Gomondwane Loop and saw 12 lions feeding on a buffalo kill. Then a little further on 2 cheetah were lazing in the afternoon sun. Not to mention many impala, wildebeest, Zebra and the odd elephant.

Beautiful place, totally stunning views and animals. If anyone is looking for a quiet place to reflect and share a good, peaceful time, this is a great place to go.

Amazing tents. Quiet tranquil space. Shop and barista for every day needs. Only come here if you are making/bringing your own food, but definitely the place to be if you want to see all game. It literally starts a few meters from the camp!

As a day visitor , this part of the Kruger Park is teeming with activity and has absolutely stunning views to pair with it. Mostly tarred roads with a few of the loops being gravel or graded . I would suggest a pair of binoculars and adhering to the speed limit as they seem to trap here hahaha

Night drive is a must. Absolute pleasure. Gate required prebooking and had to enter through malelane when the gate was closed. Telephone at offices not always attended to. However, the place itself is breathtaking.

πŸ‘ Very near the Malelane gate. Nice and green. Toilets just far and you have to climb stairs, but it was a comfortable clean bathroom. For R200 it was cheap camping.
