Where
to
even
begin
with
this
place.
It
markets
itself
as
a
semi
luxurious
lodge
nestled
to
and
around
nature.
Which
is
true.
But
a
quick
look
on
Google
maps
and
you
will
find
it
is
150m
from
a
rail
way
line
and
right
near
the
N4
where
the
coal
trucks
all
park.
For
this
you
pay
a
rate
similar
to
established
lodges
in
the
area.
Upon
driving
in
we
knew
this
was
a
mistake.
After
the
1st
night
we
booked
at
a
much
more
pleasant
lodge
with
twice
the
facilities
and
it
was
CHEAPER!!!
I
did
not
sleep
at
all.
Trains
shunting
every
2
hours.
People
talking
in
adjacent
properties.
Chris
completely
oversold
the
place.
The
only
salvage
was
that
the
piece
of
land/water
belonging
to
the
owners
and
not
a
part
of
the
lodge
is
a
good
spot
for
tiger
fishing.
The
quality
and
cleanliness
of
the
chalet
was
appalling.
The
knives
and
forks
were
sticky
and
not
clean
upon
arrival,
floor
was
gritty,
There
was
no
dish
towels,
dish
soap.
Absolutely
nothing!
And
nothing
was
mentioned
to
us
prior.
When
asking
we
were
provided.
But
why
ask?
When
checking
in.
No
times
of
checkout
was
mentioned.
We
stood
by
the
car
and
was
pointed
to
what
where
everything
was.
By
a
rather
unresponsive
individual.
At
the
end
of
the
day
-
I
came
from
Norway
to
meet
my
South
African
parents.
I
ended
up
paying
for
2
lodges
as
I
wasn't
even
going
to
fight
a
fight
and
certainly
was
not
staying
here
not
a
single
second
longer.
I'll
rather
leave
this
review
and
save
other
people
the
time
than
going
here.
Perhaps
my
expectations
are
too
high.
But
when
staying
at
an
established
lodge
whom
fitted
us
in,
made
us
feel
more
comfortable
with
great
views
and
service
and
a
spotless
chalet,
for
LESS
money,
I'm
left
vindicated
in
my
conclusion.
