If I had to take my in depth review and give a short and descriptive version. The location amazing. The bar has no limits of energy, the food oh my soul to die for. For the critics def a place to revisit and have your mind blown.

It's was okay. We spent most of our day in the Kurger Park. 3 lovely bathrooms with a outside shower. 6 people can sleep easily there. The wild walks around you and that is lovely to experience. The place was full of spiders webs, the grass of the thatch it coming out everywhere, there was no soap to wash your hands with. I got some elses sunglasses in the room, which tells me they don't clean the room properly after guests has left. I'll suggest, take your own hand soap and extra toilet paper. We enjoyed staying there. The place has a lot of potential with the right management it will be awesome to stay there for the price you pay. The new owners of the pub and grill, is doing a great job. We enjoy the food there.

Friendly staff with distinct food offerings for the area. The fish and chips were excellent, although we didn't like the Alfredo as much even though it seemed like a specialty, the sauce was too thick. Nevertheless we would recommend it for tourists in the area

This is a review about the restaurant, not the lodge. We, three adults went there for a dinner based on review score on Google Maps. THe only complain/notion can be that the steak one of our group has ordered was done as rare instead of medium rare. Everything else - service level, other dishes and wines were excellent.

I've had to change my review. We always stopped here when visiting Marloth. We come two to three times a year but really upset with the quality of food this time round. Out of 6 of us only one person enjoyed the food. On top of that it took a little over an hour and a 1/2 to get our dinner. And the prices are quite high. Now when paying such prices you would expect a meal match the price. Very disappointed in this place. We have been coming here for 10 years and was to say never again. Not sure what happened, if it was a change of chef or management but it's definitely not the same. Hate to say but you will not be seeing me as a customer again

We were there for lunch. Food was exceptionally tasty and service was extremely nice. It was a perfect stop for our group of 9. The lodge is quiet, clean and accommodating. One special compliment is to the fact that they were able to cater for my family's eating requirements and restrictions! Not easy at all.

Slow service and very dark interior but outside is better seating but food not very fresh at all and if u gonna order Eisbein be prepared to wait over an hour as needs to be defrosted before made; I say again look at "freshness" and quality of food but well stocked bar and good if u looking just for that party vibe

Service was slow. We ordered milkshakes but it did not live up to the expectations. Waited awhile for it to come so we decided not to eat there. The facility is nice and it might just have been an off day for the staff.

Me and my family really loved this place. The hole staff were so Kindly! Natasha is a lovely person! All bartenders are awesome! The food is very tasty! Everything is perfect there! it fits perfectly with a jungle around!

We were a big group that stayed for two nights. Service and food was good. We had a game drive starting very early in the first day and the lodge prepared us a take away breakfast. Next day two of us had to prepare an activity very early and they were kind enough two open a little bit earlier so the two of us could had the breakfast and leave. Really nice people and place.
