Wow, what an amazing experience! All the facilities were neat and clean. The accomodation is affordable, comfortable and great value for money. The owners made every effort to facilitate external activity bookings for guests. Upon return from excursions the owner personally welcomed the guests at the vehicles. We will most definitely return in 2019 and will recommend African Bush Backpackers to all our friends and family!

Comfortable facilities for a relaxing family stay. Ample space, with all rooms with en-suite bathrooms and air conditioning. There’s plenty of buck, monkeys, zebra and other animals which wander around nearby. Incoming road from the gate is decent, however expect gravel roads once in the park.

I'm staying here for the second time now. And the third will be coming soon again. The people are really friendly, welcoming and coming back feels like coming home. They are willing to help you with anything you need.<br/>Besides that, you're so close to Kruger, that you see daily animals in the garden. <br/>The accomodation is really clean, a nice hot shower, and comfortable beds. I'd really recommend anyone to stay here.

We spent 3 days and our experience was pretty nice!! cozy and friendly place where you can meet up new friends and see wildlife! Nice kitchen and clean / fresh rooms. Everything was perfect 👌🏼 Totally recommend it!

The entire experience by African Bush Backpackers was totally awesome. The hosts were kind and friendly and the accommodation was very clean and tidy. Information on various activities to do and see at the park was very helpful, and the best part was to mingle with other tourists and guests from other countries. Beautiful accommodation close to the Kruger Park surrounded by nature. Everything is quiet new, very clean and well looked after. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

We really lived it over there. 20 minutes to kruger park 5 minutes to the supermarket and some good restaurants, The place is so clean. And even Leon the owner is so helpful. I recommend you to stay atleast for one night there or make it your first stop. Then explore the park the other day

One of the best backpackers I have been to. The hosts were great and our room was really nice. I enjoyed the outdoor seating area, it was a cool place to sit away from the sun.

Excellent retreat within a smaller nature reserve next to kruger park. Would recommend having this location for exploring the southern side of kruger. The hosts are superb. Just listen to what they have to say about the region itself. The mall close by has all the essentials that are required for a longer stay. The butcher has good quality venison and biltong, definitely better than any super market selection. While staying at the villa, enjoy the evening braai by the pool and watch the animals passing by.
