I couldn't believe how Jacques and the rest of the staff just went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. They even assisted my parents with a breakfast on their patio because my dad struggled to walk. I would definitely recommend La Kruger if you need a quiet moment just to relax completely.

The service, staff, food, and ambience was amazing. We had such a lovely stay and couldn't believe how deliciously tasty the food were and how comfy those beds were too. We feel well rested, thanks to all at LA Kruger. We will be back :)

Spent 4 nights here in July. In the conditions of stage-6 load shedding the staff did excellent work, we had a 3-course warm dinner served every evening. The food and the hotel are nice, you can actually see many animals from your window. In winter it might be very cold at night, the rooms have no heating. The overall stay feels very unique, would definitely come again!

Tries to be posh, but in all the wrong ways. Huge and expensively appointed rooms. Pretentious menu, very average food. Bathroom smelled musty, paint was flaking off the toilet seat. When we were there, the WiFi was shocking, which made online booking of Kruger drives a nightmare. Staff super helpful and friendly. But all in all, overpriced for what you get

The most enjoyable experience I've had. Place is so tranquil and beautiful. Staff is so friendly. Felt like a home in paradise instead of a vacation.

We found this place to be lovely and comfortable, with friendly staff members. The place is situated in the wild african bush with a variety of animals walking by. The food was lovely and the place was very calming. This place is also located closely to the crocodile bridge gate to the Kruger National Park.

Wonderful place in the heart of Marloth Park. The GM Jacques and his staff were exceptional, making us feel very welcome. With only 8 rooms, it felt very exclusive and private. Added bonus: At night, you will hear the wild animals like the Gnu and Impala in the vicinity. If you are lucky, you might be able to spot one grazing nearby

We enjoyed every minute of our stay at La Kruger Lifestyle Lodge - the staff was extremely accommodating and our room was beautiful. I would HIGHLY recommend the hotel to anyone planning a trip to the Kruger area. The only caveat is to be careful with booking the Swaziland day trip or any other activities with JSL Transport through the hotel. We took a day trip with the owner who made several comments over the course of the day that made us uncomfortable, including that most African countries are "dirty and derelict." This was pretty disappointing and unsettling, especially since all of our experiences within the continent have been positive. During other legs of our trip, we were able to book more authentic tours which have left a lasting and positive impact on our lives.

Arrived just before 9 on our first night, the lady at reception was very friendly and welcoming. We requested for a packed breakfast early and on short notice the next morning and the hotel staff sorted that out for us. Breakfast was lovely on our last day Would definitely visit again

This lodge is absolute Excellent. The employees are very accommodating! The rooms were great and the food tasted very good to us. It was a great experience. There is nothing to complain about, I would to come back!

Loved my stay at the lodge. The staff were extremely friendly and always accommodating of my dietary and dining preferences l. The lodge is situated in Marloth Park which is a short distance to Kruger so the location is quite ideal. I truly appreciated the room upgrade and enjoyed having my meals and wine on the private terrace. I will most certainly opt for the chalet when i next return to Kruger. Thank you for a most memorable stay in the bush!

An absolutely wonderful experience, home away from home. Staying at La Kruger Lodge was truly an amazing experience. From arriving until we left we had nothing by exceptional service. I can’t thank Laura, Sabelo and Knowledge and the other team members enough, an absolute wonderful team. They catered to all our needs, kept us on schedule with our excursions and meal times. As for the accommodation, the lodge is fantastic, you have two pools you can cool off, our bungalow had an outdoor shower also - love this! Towels are provided - bath and swimming towels. They also have a very good system that protects you from the Loadshedding that occurs. Few things to think about when staying there: - Safari - You are up early!! This is no joke, be prepared to be up early, the morning game drive means you are up at 3:30 and out the door at 4am SHARP! Mornings and evenings are the cooler times and this means the animals are more active. - Gratuity- make sure you have enough physical cash to provide gratuities. It is best to do it as you go as the schedule means you don’t always see the same personal. So always show your appreciation when you can. - Water, drink lots of it, they have an awesome minibar in each room. The prices are exactly the same as having it at the pool or at dinner, so it is really nice to know you are not being overcharged for taking something out of your fridge. - Food - if you have no dietary requirements then sit back and relax. Every meal was amazing and the portions will leave you more than satisfied - Breakfast is fantastic, you have options from a full breakfast, cereals, yogurt and cold meats. Lastly - sit back and enjoy, take in all the sights and experiences. Remember this is a natural environment where you get to see the animals in their environment, be respectful, listen to what you are told. Everything these people do they do for the Park and to animals in it. Africa will always be a part of me!
