Lovely hosts and abundant roaming wildlife in the park & doorstep 🐾 Pros: - well equipped chalets & 👌bath/ shower concept - On-site Spa - Pvt soak pools & braai area - close to main roads & scenic drive towards Crocodile Bridge Gate Cons: - Synergy between staff and available services needs to be improved. The breakfast offering is particularly what stood out here, evidently at revamp finalization the lack of a host in the sitting area/ menu choice and variety was odd.

Peaceful and quiet. Ideal place to just relax and getaway from it all. The chalets were very comfortable and have everything you need. Ideal for a couple and 2 kids. The only complaint was the gas operated geyser which made showering a bit tricky as the temp was not constant. Other than that completely satisfied with our stay. The staff are amazing. They assisted with offloading our vehicle oln arrival and loading it on departure. They went the extra mile to even wash our extremely filthy car in the rain on the day of our departure . I would highly recommend this place affordable place .

Next time when you are in Mpumalanga, be sure to visit Royal Marlothi Safari Lodge & Spa.. Their premises are beautiful, the stuff is welcoming and friendly, their spa facilities are neat and very comfortable, I had the best full body massage experience! Definitely coming back!

If I could give a zero rating, I would. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. I’ve never struggled so much to get a refund back from an establishment. No one wants to take accountability. Instead I am told about refund policies that are not even on their website. On 28/12/2022 I made a reservation for 31/12/2022 due to unforeseen circumstances I had to cancel my trip. I communicated with the establishment and asked what’s the way forward I was told to put in a request for a free refund which I did. The request was approved and I was told that the manager would contact me. I called everyday for a whole week and the response I got was that the manager would get back to me at their earliest convenience and that they couldn’t give me his direct number. I eventually figured out a way to get his number. After a lengthy discussion I was told that policy states that I wasn’t eligible for a refund yet they approved it. The manager then promised that he understands the miscommunication and that they’ll refund me on 08/01/2023. I’m still waiting for the refund and now I’m being avoided.

I visited the spa, while receiving my treatments the therapist nearly fell asleep a handful of times. The aircon was put on while receiving a massage and it was really cold. The rooms temperature was fine at first but it slowly turned really cold. The massage felt really rushed because the required materials weren't set up beforehand.

Beautiful setting and quiet place until other drunk guests arrived at 01:30 and woke the kids up. Memory is lovely and helpful. The main guesthouse is lovely but 3 of the five burners on the stove weren’t working and the fridge was barely cold that some of our food went off. The smaller family chalets had issues with hot and cold showers. But all in all, a good place for a large family getaway. Close to the Crocodile River Kruger entrance.
