Very happy staying in this lodge. Denis and Lyn welcomed us with therlir food smiles. Breakfast is too good. We had dinner one night, enjoyed it except the prawn salad. Rooms are too good. Location is awesome.

Stumbled upon Needles while my wife and I were scrolling through Kruger National Park on Google Maps. We decided to email them and asked a few things regarding the packages they offered, and through those interactions alone we knew we got something special. The team were helpful and kind, the building was charming, the room was clean, the bonfire was awesome, the surroundings were beautiful, the food was delicious, the animals in the property were friendly, the safari was wild and the list goes on and on and on. All in all, it exceeded all of our expectations by miles. Thank you Denis, Gail, Colin, Patrick, Manny and everyone who helped us during our stay there. Thank you for making our honeymoon unforgettable in every way.

Amazing experience at Needles. All staff was amazing with us. Great Rooms with all facilities including water and snacks all days. Dinner is amazing. The breakfast, both at Needles and during game drive, is very good. Small poll where you may found some animals. Recommend and will repeat if I have go back to SA.

Denis, Lyn and the staff were outstanding! Great service without feeling intrusive. The food was excellent and the atmosphere feels like you are in the bush. We definitely hope to return and highly recommend needles lodge!

This is wellness for your soul. We had a calm and pleasend stay, after we were welcomed with fresh juice. The needles Lodge is part of a big park of Lodges next to Kruger (gate Malalane 20 minutes, gate Crocodile Bridge 20 minutes) The Rooms are quite beautiful. In the evening the owners will have dinner with all the guests, so we had 3 times an international dinner with interesting stories from all over the world. Allready told you about the food? You can tell them your preferences, they will cook a nice 3 courses menu for you even if your are vegan or you love the meat like a Lion. The result is every day delicious. If you are not at Kruger during the day you can relax at the pool, which is not getting more than 23 degrees. A perfect refreshment under the sun of ZA. The first hours we were afraid of the snakes, because it is a big snake area, but you don't have to be afraid of. Doors to your rooms are always closed and the staff knows nearly everything about snakes, raptiles and animals. We also got an expert Tipp from the owner where the chance to see rhinos at the Kruger will be high. So we decided the next day to go to this place with our own vehicle and we were very happy to see 3 big rhinos in front of us. All in all we could see the big 5 within 3 days. Thanks a lot for this stay.

The attention given is most pleasingly. Lynn was ever so helpful throughout the booking to our time of arrival. Thobile, a very charming lady prepares her meals with much love. A most welcoming experience.

We stayed here August 2019 and had an unforgettable time! Just before pulling into the parking lot, we were greeted by a pack of giraffes crossing the road in front of us! Denis and Gail welcomed us on arrival with fresh juice and gave us a tour of the lodge. The rooms were cozy and was a great experience to see the various animals come so close to the lodge (zebra’s, warthog’s, monkey’s etc.) The dinner was very tasty! All of the guests sat together at a big table and got to know one another. After dinner Denis shows us the Milky Way and was truly breathtaking. It is by far the clearest I have ever seen the sky! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you, to you both and your team!

An amazing place for a quiet weekend away with your loved one. The food is amazing, thanks to the Chef.

We spent 3 nights at the Needles Lodge and had a wonderful time. The accommodation itself is very beautiful and we had a lot of fun during the game drives in Kruger which have been very interesting. Breakfast and dinner were very delicious and eating vegetarian wasn’t a problem at all. The staff is super nice and we would love to come back!! :)

This is a great place to stay. The staf and owner are great (Dennis u are) The food is super. Great thought into it. The wine even better. Hospitality is here. I u have a change to go to Kruger park. Stay here.

On a scale of 1 to 10, i would rate this place a 11! Absolutely wonderful experience at the needles lodge. The rooms are spacious and clean, the staff is extremely friendly and omg the FOOD.. lip smacking to say the least. Just go for it, you won't regret making a booking here :)

Me and partner spent 8 nights here in October 2023 all we can say is Wow-Wow the whole experience from start to finish was amazing. Dennis, Gale, Lyn and Phillip are brilliant hoists & so welcoming ensuring you get the most from your stay, they helped to organise our Safari drives etc, Glen our guide was fantastic we couldn’t have asked for better. All the other staff are very friendly & helpful! We can’t thank everyone enough for helping to make our holiday so special & a memorable! We can’t recommend this place enough. Mark & Denise (UK)
