This beach is situated 6 kms from the Konark Sun temple. It's a Wonderful beach with peaceful atmosphere . You get the facility of riding monster bikes on this beach 🌊☀. There are various shops which sell dry fruits. They'll offer dry fruits at cheaper rate as compared to the market, buy those dry fruits at your own risk because their quality is not ❌ good as compared to the market that's the reason they offer it for low prices.

Beach is beautiful, but our fellow citizens do not like it that way, it seemed. The view of sunrise is beautiful, and mostly people visit early in the morning to witness that. It gere crowded. Many worship the rising sun by lighting clay lamps on the beach sand and take a holy dip in the sea. The sea tide is strong, so be careful if you plan to take a dip. Visitors need to keep it clean. All those who light the lamps leave them behind as is. Imagine a crowd of a thousand people doing it and leaving everything behind. It surely isn't good for other visitors who'd visit after them. Commercial activities like ATV rides make it very noisy and fade the beauty and calmness you otherwise feel at beaches. Overall, it is an okay place for a brief visit.

Nice beach 🏖 to spend the whole day but not in Waters . It is little risky the waves 🌊 are high one cannot swim just like in Puri beach. I like Puri beach than this . If you want to have to be relaxed near to the beach 🏝 this is a good beach. If you want to enjoy in the water 💦 go to Puri beach. Don’t try to go buy auto from Konark to Beach . It is hardly 2-3 kilometers and they charge you more than 80/- . Go by bus just 10/-. Walk if you are alone you will enjoy a lot more

Chandrabhaga beach is on the way to Konark from holy city Puri. This is one of the best beaches in India. It's just adorable, full clean beaches. Very peaceful and calm environment during morning sunrise time. Certainly one of the favourite place in my list.

Chandrabhaga Beach is situated three km east of the Sun temple of Konark, in the Puri district in the state of Odisha, India. It is 30 km from the city of Puri. Formerly Chandrabhaga was considered a place of natural cure for lepers. Chandrabhaga beach on the coast of Konark becoming India's first to get the Blue Flag certification — a tag given to environment-friendly clean beaches, equipped with amenities of international standards for tourists.

Near to konark temple around 2kms distance. Less crowded and clean compared to puri beach. Eatery shop are less near to beach and near to main entrance of beach only. Along the beach as you go far it will get empty and during eve hours it's getting less crowdy as the sun sets. One can enjoy sunrise and sunset here.

We went to this Beach During our Visit to Puri. We visited in the first week of December, during that the "International Sand ART Festival" was going on. Sand artists from across the globe participated there and we had an amazing experience. If you are in Orissa during Early December it's a Must Visit.

It is one of the cleanest beach I have ever visited. It is a beach on the way to Konark when you are coming from Puri. You must make a stop at this beach. There are many activities like jet ski ride and paragliding (seasonal) at this beach but the natural beauty is absolutely out of this world. Don't miss small crabs roaming around on the beach. They run so fast that you might miss seeing them but they make small holes on the beach and enter them. Wherever you see small holes on the beach you are sure that there are small crabs around them. Must visit place if you come to puri or konark.

Amazing beach. Very clean and beautiful. Must visit. Carry cash to buy food items or water because due to network issues online payment is not accepted or you may face delay in online payment process.

Chandrabhaga Beach is situated three km east of the Sun temple of Konark ( UNESCO World Heritage site) in the Puri District in Odisha. It is Asia's first beach to get the Blue Flag certification - a tag given to environment-friendly clean beaches, equipped with amenities of international standards for tourists. The sunrise at the Beach is a majestic site to behold. The rays from the sunrise fall directly on the temple and the shadow cast on the temple wheels( temple designed in the form of chariot) can predict time to the nearest minute. One can see cashew nut tree 🌳 on the way to the beach and can purchase cashew nut on the beach in very low price compared to the price all over India.

A Gem to treasure. The most beautiful beach with clean water and sand, a beautifully lined shoreline with coconut trees, an amazing road parallel to the coast line. There is a good space for parking. There are stalls outside the beach for refreshment. Thankfully it is not very commercialized which is the reason for the peaceful experience on this beach.

A very clean and less crowded beach. It's very beautiful and has a lot of stalls selling kaju at the entrance. A few beach sports activities are available here along with various food options. It's quite far from the main Puri city but it still sees it's fair share of crowd due to its fame and beautiful landscape. If you are in Puri and you have enjoyed the Puri beach thoroughly and you need a change of pace, do visit here.

One of the cleanest beaches, water sports available. This comes on the way from Puri to Konark and is a scenic drive all along the coast line. In case you plan to get wet in the sea, prefer this one rather than the Puri beach!

So beautiful and Captivating. As the sun goes down it restored a sense of peace & reminded me that I am only a small part of a much bigger picture. Cheers to the endless horizons and golden skies. Worth it ☺️

"I recently visited the Chandrabhaga Beach and was impressed by its natural beauty and serenity. The beach is located in Konark, Odisha and is known for its stunning sunset views. The beach is relatively less crowded than other popular beaches in the region, making it a great spot for a peaceful and relaxing day out. The beach is also a great spot for swimming and sunbathing. The beach also has a temple dedicated to Lord Surya and its a great place for pilgrimage. I highly recommend visiting the Chandrabhaga Beach to anyone looking for a quiet and beautiful beach experience.

Peaceful beach with monster bikes over there which is lovely too, I suggest you not to bath in seas as there are less people if any disaster occur there might be no person to safe and it's a local area so facility are not provided. Although it's clean and beautiful beach then those city ones.

This beach is very calm and peaceful unlike other famous beaches of puri. It is one of the cleanest and environment friendly beaches of India. The beach is named after river Chandrabhaga, an Ancient river and now mostly dried up. There are many legends associated with it. If you are going to Puri, it is a must visit place. If you book OTDC tourist bus of government of odisha, they will take you here

An awesome 😎 beach ⛱️ with full of rides ,ocean and weather an can enjoy while traveling from Puri to sun temple. At a distance of 5 km from Konark Bus Station, Konark Beach is a stunning beach located in Konark, Orissa. Also known as Chandrabhaga Beach, it is regarded as one of the finest beaches along the east coast and also one of the popular Konark Tourist Places. The Konark Sea Beach is named after Chandrabhaga River which joins sea here. The lengthy stretch of sylvan sands and soothing blue sea rushing in, undulating waves makes the Konark Beach one of the beautiful places to visit in Konark. A leisurely stroll along the beach side is a lovely experience. Tourists can also enjoy beach activities like sun bathing, surfing and many more. Though this is a great spot for sunbathing, the presence of strong currents makes swimming unsafe. A panoramic view of the sunrise is the other captivating attraction of this beach. A light house, close by Chandrabhaga is an added attraction to this place. Konark Beach is well-known for the yearly Magha Saptami Mela, a seven day festival. It takes place during 7th full moon day of Magha Month every year and many visitors come to this beach on this day to take dip in the sea and offer prayers to Sun God. Peaceful beach with monster bikes over there which is lovely too, I suggest you not to bath in seas as there are less people if any disaster occur there might be no person to safe and it's a local area so facility are not provided. Although it's clean and beautiful beach then those city ones.
