Sterling at Puri is a great property. The property, it's location, it's architecture and maintenance all are great. It's location has both positive and negative sides. Positive in the sense it is just the last resort and it exist on the bank of the river and sea. It gives a great view and an isolated beach. Negative in the sense, it is so isolated and remotely located that, communication from that position is quite challenging specifically if you are not having your personal vehicle. Great staff and room service. I would definitely recommend this property and suggest to have your personal vehicle with you.

The property is lovely.. but there are a few issues they need to address.. This place is at the far end of Puri... Its a little lonely but there are rickshaws plying to and fro from the hotel till Puri beach, golden beach etc. There is no direct beach access from the property.. but they have a lovely pool with direct view of the sea. Hardly any sea facing rooms, which are almost always booked by their "members". Most of their rooms are facing their lawn or garden which is in bad shape.. the garden in the entrance is good but they really need to make their lawns and garden more green and appealing as almost 80% of the rooms are garden facing. The rooms are really small for the price you pay but they are neat and clean.. Lot of pros and equal no. Of cons.. The staff is over all very good and helpful and friendly. The breakfast had a nice spread and was quite good.

Room pricing - 5500-6500 Pros A very very amazing place. It has beautiful sea view rooms with amazing amenities. They make amazing food which tastes great. The service is on point and they are very warm. A perfect place to relax Cons Rooms don't have fan. They just have AC. The location of the resort is not very encouraging. It is located at a very deserted flag end of the city. If you want to visit places in Puri and stay in this hotel, better to have your personal vehicle. Owing to its location, almost every place from this resort is very far and you end up paying a lot of money in transfer.

The resort had been maintained well. Staff are courteous. A little far away from the town. The beach access is a little disappointing. Rooms are decent sized. I thought the food was a little expensive. The buffet breakfast spread was very good. You will find mostly family crowd in this resort.

A nice place to relax by the beach. The resort is located by an estuary. So you can enjoy the calmness and the scenery. Rooms are good and well maintained. Breakfast spread was plenty and good. But the one let down was the swimming pool which was dirty with things floating. Being a three star beach resort, it is expected to have a clean pool at all times.

The location is quite far from the main area of the beach. But usually resorts are placed like that only so no hard feeling. I experienced little less professionalism from the staffs, need to train them more or recruit better one. A lady Staff from the restaurant asked me that I have to pay for my complimentary breakfast as I have booked for 1 day only and it was the day of check out. As per the hotel rules, the check in time was 12 noon and check out was 10 am. The timing of breakfast was within 10.30 am. So technically I can't have my breakfast on day of check in as it would be more than 12 noon. And next day morning she was asking me to pay. It was really irritable during breakfast to listen such nuisance.

Location is excellent. Close to the beach and no crowds. Rooms are good, AC works, bed is comfortable, but is little constrained. Service is slow and indifferent. Never found a smile on the face of any staff. We used the restaurant only as a very last resort.

I was amazed to see sun rising by just raising my rooms curtains.Some if the rooms has amazing beach view. I was not really impressed with the food as it was like ordering in a canteen where you have too many guests and your order is just one of it. Very oily, very general menu. The rooms are clean however the property is not well maintained you can see beer bottle and chappal whilst getting down to estuary from a gate which is behind. It is a lovely property but very far from city. Auto takes 300 one side to go to market and if you have plan to visit the market and stay in the resorts then it may not work well.

Perfect place for vacation with great rooms and services. There's a fun zone with all sorts of board games and TT. Snooker is available at an additional cost. A large swimming pool is there towards the sea side. The only demerit is it's location as it doesn't provide a direct access to the sea beach and a pungent smell is present throughout the day due to the drainage into sea

Overall the hotel is good just that it is far from the beach. Only a little part of the beach is visible from few specific rooms that to if the weather is sunny or the sky is clear. The rooms are good and very hygienic but as the hotel is only a year old so it looks so the actual maintenance would come under the eyes after certain years. The quality of the food is good and the price and the portion is good. The pool is enough for people to enjoy on a hot sunny day.

Location: At the end of the beach road. At the spot where the river meets the sea. If tide is low, you can directly walk to the beach from the back gate. Food: Ordering through swiggy is allowed and all the restaurants are about 7 mins drive from here. We tried ordering varieties from outside instead of having the hotel food. Breakfast: Included in the stay and it's good. Small spread but it's tasty. Pool: Nice and big! May be too hot during the day time but night time the pool is warm from the heat of the sun all day. Kids n I enjoyed it thoroughly. Service: it was prompt. We requested for an extra cost, extra towels etc. It was provided promptly without any charges. Room: The place has got about 100 rooms and about 12 has a direct sea view. We were lucky to get the sea view room and it was amazing!

Best hotel in Puri. Great location with a private beach. The rooms are very spacious, clean and have a captivating view of the sea. The staff at reception and in the restaurant is very courteous. The restaurant is very good and has an amazing buffet. Sister property Mayfair Heritage is just across the road and guests can use their pool and restaurant also. Highly recommended

One of the best hotels in puri right now. Travellers looking for a quiet place away from the crowd would love this place. During the day the resort is a bit crowded but from the late afternoon after it is pure bliss. The staff were very efficient and always eager to help. The hotel is kid friendly having a separate indoor kids room as well as an outdoor kids area and a kid pool. The restaurant customised food for kids upon request. The food was good. The buffet breakfast has plenty of options. Overall it was an awesome experience.

The rooms were good but pricey, also I guess there is a flaw with the hotel design as nearly none of the rooms have a sea view. There was a deck where the beach view can be enjoyed but it was quite far from the room. Other than that the location was a big disappointment as it was 3km from the Swargardwar and nothing is present nearby not even a small shop. The food is better than other Sterling properties. Also the service is good.

This was my 3rd visit here, the property is excellent located at the fag end of Puri. How ever there is no direct beach access. Food is good but a tad bit expensive a rivulet cuts off direct access to the beach. Swimming pool is large and only 4 feet deep, ideal for pool parties. Good for corporate events, weddings etc, but there are better options to explore when it comes to family trips

One of the best places to stay in Puri. The Sterling experience was soothing and comfortable. A bit away from the hustle, yet sea facing, the location is picturesque. The hotel premise is beautiful and the decor is tastefully artistic. Our stay at the hotel was a perfect weekend getaway: calm and comfortable! A big shout out to the crew at work who go that extra mile to ensure that the guests having everything they require. Special Cheers to Ms Amina and Gyana, their smiles and their loving attitude towards to us.

The rooms, property, the food everything is amazing. The only part which was a headache for us was the kind of service they provide at the restaurant. They took 30 mintues just to bring ice cream for us and that too brought the wrong flavour and were forcing us to take it. There are no fans in the room, I don’t understand the logic behind that. The checkin time is 2, but the checkout is before 10am which is very very early, the kind of money they charge for the rooms and services should match the kind of experience which i felt was missing. The food was literally good, the breakfast was really good, the only issue was they have the same breakfast everyday. Please do something about your service.

Reception area is too hot. Food is excellent and rooms were more or less good too Service was in doldrums perhaps due to Snan jatra and wedding booking in the resort. Checked in on 03.06.2023 late evening and Checked out on 05.06.2023 at 5AM. Service manager needs to personally check everything and take regular training of the service staffs to maintain the standard and quality of THE STERLING

Marvelous hotel.Polished rooms & suites in a modern resort offering dining, an outdoor pool & sports facilities.The special Toddler Corner is great for little ones to play and have fun. · Sterling Puri's spacious rooms offer views of the garden or sea. · The hotel offers  relaxation and massage at their in house spa corner. Location is bit remote, cannot go own vehicle.The rate is also very much expensive.

Spacious room...But service is not expected.... Dining area is in basement and for challenged and aged people will have difficulty climbing stairs. Though we were told that beach can be accessed...We need cross sewage to reach the beach

We were at Sterling resort for a reunion! The service we received went way beyond our expectations. The Reception was so warm and friendly..prompt registration. Spacious and comfortable rooms ..every detail was taken care of. There was a variety of food and beverages. Various venues for the group to meet with activities organized to perfection.The cultural show of song and dance topped it all. The staff were so polite courteous and friendly. Will certainly reccomend it to my friends and family.

Now the property is great but do not have lifts....All r two storey towers...If you have senior citizen with you then inform in advance to have ground floor room....Staff was extremely courteous and helpful. Has two restaurants located inside property.. Hotel do not have access to beach ...you can watch sea from far inside hotel which has fence you cannot cross...

Too small a balcony with the door bolt above 9feet, impossible to operate if below 6feet....be careful while using bathroom as the drainage is quite poor....ACs noise disturbs the sleep. Compromise with your partner as big sized room has just one sofa chair. Staff is good but largely dependent on the GM for replies.... location is very poor without a proper access to the beach.....lot many flies and insects takes over the complex soon after the sunset.. Trainees at Front office are quite new and are without information.....

Had a great time there. Went with my family. Food quality can improve. But the location and the private beach are the most +ve things about this hotel. Can be recommended. P.S. - It's a bit pricey.

Excellent service by staffs Restraurant was excellent Rooms are clean but toilets needs to be cleaner. Swimming pool is good Beach view is amazing Their travel desk must improve. The tempo traveller and winger provided by them does not have proper AC. Otherwise everything was excellent

Food was good.. primium room was awesome. Every staff was wearing mask and their behaviour was very nice.. you will feel very nice..

Peaceful, Clean, and breathtaking views. Do note this is far from the city and Puri temple, you wont find cab/taxi or auto, let alone anything near this. Good if you have own vehicle

1. Lodging: Nice comfy and cosy room(Villa for 2+2). Do not expect anything lavish but quite practical when travelling with grown up kids. 12xx room had better layout with Pantry at entrance and the.n drawing and bed room on top. Where as 11xx had pantry more like a cellar. Super clean as you would expect at that price point. 2. Property: Not so good location as it is at the end of town with bad approach road. You need to depend on auto ride for everything. Also beach access is almost non-existent. One need to take a make shift bridge made out of sand bags next to the mouth of river meeting the sea. Coming to facilities inside it is good with nice activities room for kids. Beautiful reception overlooking the sea and well made swimming pool which was very clean and hygienic. Had quite some space to move around. Overall not something which will take you by awe but nothing to complain about except the location. 3. Hospitality: When we checked into the resort, it was running at full capacity and may be due to this the service to rooms were a little slow but the staff was very courteous and polite. The staff at the reception also were very coperative and resolved our concerns promptly. We were not too happy with the room as the sea was not visible at all which is what you expect when you book premium rooms at a premium property. To sum up it was right up there so no complains here as well. 4. Food: This was the highlight of the place. The in house restaurant served really good quality food. We were 6+6 group and stayed there for 4 days. Not even a single person including kids complained about any kind of uneasiness or discomfort. Not the tastiest of food which is quite an individual thing but the variety and quality was top notch. The staff serving us especially Mr. Rahim, Miss Lopa, the entire training staff, the manager and also the chef who personally came down asking for feedback, which tells you a thing or two about the service mindset of the place. If you plan to go to Puri be rest assured that this is one of the best places you could be put up. Though at a little expensive side(may be due to state of business in pandemic era) this will definitely make your stay memorable as it was for us. One thing I could wish for change would be the beach access from the property or atleast more benches with the sea view where one can sit for some nice relaxing time.

The Hotel is overhyped.Let me start from scratch ...website description looks so attractive however the road condition is poor,the reservation staff behaviour is rude and money oriented.They started checking for the id card for kids and took time for initial booking.The Property structure ans scenic Beauty is good apart from that everything is pathetic. Rooms are fitted with substandard material. I will not suggest anyone to plan your stay at this hotel.

Sterling Resorts Puri is a very beautiful resort, with its own private beach. We are highly impressed with the service of Mr Noor Mohd at the restaurant, he served us with lots of affection. The rest of the staff are also good, but not Pro active.

The staff is not friendly at all. The rooms are average and the service is very slow. Would not recommend staying here. No point with such bad service after paying more than 7k per room. You can find better places for half the price.

The hotel's location as well as the construction makes the stay here an experience in itself (especially the pool-cum-sea view rooms). The staff were well trained and very courteous. The food quality was quite good as well, although pretty expensive, which is to be expected at a luxury hotel.

It was a great stay being my first visit to Sterling resorts. The views are awesome. Ambience was good. Staff and Management are friendly. The only thing I think can be avoided is that Guests should be told every Complementary facilities they can avail. Things they can do and don't Besides it everything was satisfactory

It is somewhat little away the golden beach..if your own vehicle then there is no issue..however the main issue is with hotel maintenance..the garden are badly maintained ..our view from hotel room has no view of the beach..further there are few room which have only view of the sea and that is very difficult to get ..also it is difficult to reach the beach from the back side gate of the hotel as there is a small river between the beach and the hotel. Howe5 i like to appreciate about the food which was top class

Stayed here for a day on visit to Puri. Nice location on the far end of the beach by the estuary. We got a beach facing room with a sit out area and was a great experience. Pool area is great and well maintained. Access to the estuary area is limited, great early morning experience when we went for a walk. Service is good at the restaurant and room service. A/C seemed a bit old and needed service. Rooms were spacious though. Breakfast Buffet service was good but would have preferred a bit more variety. Entrance is grand and looks beautiful. Though access to rooms and pool are a level up or down from the reception - there are no lifts in the property which will be difficult for senior citizens who find it difficult to climb if opting for the rooms on the floor above.

The property was amazing.. The manager of the room services was a rude man, though. But apart from that minor inconvenience everything was perfect about this resort. The view from the lobby is something to die for. The pool is well maintained. Food in the restaurant was also amazing. Overall the staff were also polite and cooperative.

Good resort. However the rooms are quite small. But overall the resort is quite nice. The property is awesome the food is good and the pool is also nice. However their beach is not at all accessible. The part of beach where you can go doesn’t even have ocean its only a part of river. To go to the beach you have to walk a lot and that to through plants growing in the sand and mushy land.

The food served here is good. Little pricey though. Do check the rooms before bookings, we checked in a room worth of 7k and there was paint coming off the walls and was not sea facing. Private beach available but can be accessed only during the dry season. If you are a person who enjoys the sea from far, you will enjoy here as you get a nice view from their seating area.

Had a wonderful stay. We are an old couple and visited the property this year in the month if October. This was the perfect leisurely trip that we had been waiting for. Rahman took utmost care to make our stay comfortable and assisted us with food recommendation.

My stay at Sterling was awesome. The room was clean & cozy. The food was excellent and the spread was good. The service was topclass. Each & every staff was full of warmth, care and was always ready to serve. Would like to point out especially the service provided by Lopamudra. She was always there to help.
