Service needs lot of improvement. I was very happy when I visited last in 2020. Down the line service and menu both have degraded. Only cook and one waiter are catering for all guests. And as per the floor manager, the cook has been cooking since 6am. So clearly on can understand his state of mind and body.. Humble request to please improve and restore ur past glory.

Quite impressed with the place. The ambience was good. The food was great and the prices are reasonable. Chilli Paneer and Mushroom Masala is highly recommended. Do check this place out whenever you visit Konark Temple or Konark Interpretation Centre. But their service was slow so make sure to order food before visiting the places or try to pre book your meals. It's inside the interpretation centre.

Need a place for two/four wheeler parking with food while visiting Konark? Then this is the place. Caution: They charge INR 20 for using washing! 🤣 Only limited options are available but it's tasty. Service could be better.

The food was very expensive. The place is well maintained though. The area is clean and the atmosphere is peaceful, a little away from the busy street with a well maintained garden. The place is not air conditioned. Digital payments are accepted. Their toilet located inside this premise is very expensive ₹20 per use.

Good to average vegetarian food experience. Rates need to be think off...

Worst Restrurent of my life. They are charging Rs. 200 is for chicken thali (2 small size chicken) is not good. They served us rice mixed with worms. Then they changed this with jeera rice mixed with worms, so we can't figure out the worms. They waste precious 1 hour 20 mins in our tight schedule. Never try this restaurant. Road side dhaba is better.

Good food, good service, price is awesome

This is located just on the opposite side of the konarak temple entrance.They claimed to serve multi cuisines but have fewer options only. Service was slow but heartful.Taste was good.

Only giving this a 4 star because of the ambience, available amenities and mostly for the surrounding beautiful gardens of this place (I love flowers and I can't help it!!) But it fails as a restaurant in the matter of fooding. Late service, insufficient personnel, limited items on the menu (only veg/non-veg thali was available the last time I went there and the special dishes were outsourced from another restaurant nearby which would warrant a lengthy wait). I can not comment on the test because I was short on time and cancelled my order.

A descent restaurant, just in front of sun temple, Konark. Taken over by OTDC. Spread across a beautiful property. Food quality was good and management is also impressive. It's pocket friendly too

Never visit this place.. Worst place.... Irresponsible waiters.... Food very less amount... Poor management... Unhygienic... We had to leave compleatly unsatisfied..

The quality of the Veg thali is worst.

Awesome experience. The people working there were very nice and always with a smile. We ordered Chicken Pakora, Prawn Pakora and Coffee, must say the taste was outstanding specially the prawn pakora. Do consider this place for a quick snacking once you visit Konark temple, also the parking is very near to the temple , so if you pay Rs.50 they will let you park in their premises, which will save you the walking

Totally dirty toilet without water. However toilet fees is Rs.20/-. It is better to go to any public toilet. There is no power backup for the restaurant. During heat wave there, if power cuts, there is no power backup. Lot of flies in the dine area. OTDC needs to improve their standard as per current situation. Staff are helpless to provide better service without any support from the management.

I had one sea fish thali but they charged for extra rice and fish was not fresh very bad

Pathetic service. We were served stale cabbage curry and the taste was not good. Not worth the price.

The restaurant provides excellent quality of food at an affordable price. You don't need to go anywhere for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is complementary here.

Weird. The website says it’s open till 10:30pm. The otdc manager says it’s only for lunch .

Well it's a restaurant as evident from the name. This restaurant comes under Orissa State Tourism Development Corporation. Once I walked in the restaurant it was covered with greenery. There was ample dining space. Although it is covered by roof, still I got the feel of open air dining probably due to it's architecture. Now talking about the food, we ordered veg pakora,paneer pakora, tea and coffee. Believe me it was yummy. I really appreciate the taste and it was freshly made. This place is not crowded but they still have 15-20mins wait time. The restaurant is not expensive. The serving size is small as compared to the prices. Due to time restraint we could not order ahead. But it was good experience for me.

This is just like any other government office. You order the food and wait forever. Whe you ask for food repeatedly, they will serve. we waited for 90 minutes to get our foods on table. After eating waited for 30mins to get the bill. We had ordered fish thali, the fish was stale and noone cared about our complain, chicken preparations were ok. No authentic odia food. OTDC should take a chance to showcase our odia cusine and culture worldwide but this restaurant is completely ruining it.

The quality and taste of Thali menu is worst. Price is 200 @ Chicken Thali and Veg. Thali @ 130 but it was not upto the standard. In 200 one can get mutton meal with sandara jabar dasta taste. The Authority of OTDC shoul check and verify the standard of hotel.

Place is centered at most exotic place but dont fall for it . They just serve Veg Thali - no ala carte while taste and standards does not match with Odisha hospitality. Better to find any other road side Dhaba as an alternative .
