We stayed at the Premium Swiss Cottage and the room was more than spacious. The ambience of the room was quite good as well. The rooms didn’t have any lock but it was made sure from the management team that nothing would happen as the security is quite tight and the whole property was under surveillance. The dining area was quite good with quite a variety of food all inclusive in the tariff of the room. Even the extra curricular activities were part of the package. We played archery and rode an ATV as well. The only downside which we personally felt was the housekeeping can try and keep the room bit more clean like the bedsheets, towels, etc. Food - 5/5 Cleanliness - 4/5 Ambience - 5/5

The place gives an experience that's one of a kind in Odisha. The location is amazing. All tents are located on the beach facing sea. There are some water sports avaiable. The package include complimentary breakfast, lunch , hi-tea and dinner ,plus one complimentary water sport for each person. Also other complimentary activities include cycling, archery, quad bike and a guided tour to Konark temple. In evening cultural activities take place in the premises. Overall, it's a wonderful experience.

Lovely travel destinations for sea sports and and a scenic beach lover. Many white tents(includes restaurant, music function, hall etc). There are provate bookings for the place as well as free area for public(restaurant and adventure sports accesible). Public can pay extra for adventure sea sport whereas one can book a tent in front of sea at cost 26K to 3,00,000. Beautiful place for children as well as adults and oldies. Just sit in front of sea and enjoy

Awesome service and location.Clean beach ,very good service. Evening cultural show is also amazing. they have a tour to Konark temple included with guide. if you stay for 2 days,you can go to Puri temple too . Beach is very well maintained. Food quality is excellent.

Must visit destination in konark odisha. Managed by Odisha Tourism. Clean cottage, nice location, clean beach. Sports activities, cultural activities,food etc everything was wonderful. Hats off to Odisha Tourism.

Our stay in the Royal tents of Konark Eco Retreat was memorable. It was a suite with a large drawing/dining area and spacious bedroom with two bathrooms and a dressing area. Food was good and staff were courteous. Water sports rides are also good. We were there on 31 Dec therefore enjoyed the midnight new year party. Overall good management and quality hospitality that gave us satisfying experience.

Simply amazing. This place has a vibe of its own. A great initiative by Govt of Odisha to promote tourism and create means of livelihood at the Marine Drive Eco Retreat, Konark. This Eco Retreat comes at number One among the all 5 Eco retreats in ODISHA. In the lap of nature you get to experience something of everything. Sun rise, Marine Drive bike riding, boat riding at Bay Of Bengal, Beach shows at evening, music, food. The tents are nicely built with clean and beautiful amenities. Nice place away from crowded cities. A must visit for any group of age. Few water activities also available here like water scooters and boat ride. I must say afternoon is the best time to explore this beach. And the foods turned out to be very much delicious. Peaceful, calming and healing environment. It's worth both the time and money. A must visiting place in Odisha.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Eco Retreat Konark, had a great time and lots of fun. Highlights include delicious meals, local sightseeing in Konark, and added water sports in the itinerary. The beach is exceptionally clean, and there's a kids' play area too.

The place is serene and you can have full privacy with your family. There are 4 categories of tents as per your requirement. All charges are included all foods and one water sport. This is a really nice place to spend relaxed vacation. There is no wifi facility and network issues persists so for digital detox this place is ideal. Stay is good but food is average, though they give good choice of spread.

Don't know why some people give negative reviews. This place deserves more than 5 stars. Hospitality is excellent. You ll get varieties of food(no extra cost). Free pickup and drop from Bhubaneswar Not a single complaint. We enjoyed it a lot. Thank you all staff n co.Will definitely come again.

Very upset about our experience with management of Eco retreat Konark: while our beach walk they tried to forbid us the access to the sea! Access to the sea should be a public right and it is unacceptable for anyone to try and restrict it. I hope the local authorities will take appropriate steps to resolve the issue and bring attention to the importance of preserving public access to the sea.

The is one place where river Chandrabhaga meets the sea. The beach is clean. The same is fine and good. It's a place for speed boating and I enjoyed doing speed boating. The charge was Rs.500 per person. One can see sunrise as well sunset at this beach. It's just below the Konark Puri highway. I enjoyed this place.

The place looks good frpm outside with all the good banners. The natural beauty is good and the beaches are clean Shacks are not upto the mark,very costly and not well maintained ( especially sundowner). You can make a pitstop dont stop for more than that and enjoy the other beach sides on the way to puri on the marine drive.

There is not even one part which makes you regret of staying at this resort. Everything is very well managed and upkeep is very good. Staff are very well trained to make customers happy during their stay.... I will come back for sure.

Okay about the beach and water sports, then great! There was a little shack kinda cafe, it was disgusting. What a terrible hospitality. The manager or whosoever related to that shack, was extremely ill mannered, lacked basic etiquettes to the customer and had sense of zero courtesy.

Multiple category of rooms are available . We choose premium tents. View was amazing directly looking at the sea . Rooms were clean , staff was responsive . Food had good spread but could improve on the food taste (North Indian cuisine & desert).

An awesome place to relex and retreat one's self.. Modern facilities in tents set, right at beach. Food quality is fantastic and authentic Odisha delicacies prepared with care. Staff is helping ansd smiling, cooperates. Golf cars for local transport. Bikes available for free to guests.

I had booked the Deluxe cottages at Eco Retreat Konark. Spent Christmas holidays with family and all of us loved the experience!! All the tents are beach facing and accessible and life guards are on duty at high tide times. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are too good. Staff and service is great and very accommodating. Many complementary fun activities, cultural programs and guided tour to Sun temple too is available. The cleanliness of tent and washroom is well maintained too. Definitely recommend ! FYI: You may use MMT for seamless reservation experience when booking from abroad.

Excellent arrangements by the management .....Well maintained tents , clean beach...great experience...Sea tides are also not so violent ........what a stay here...Worth for our spending ....Only from November to March every year .I have posted video also.Though it is in Telugu...but no issue

Food and services are not good but the experience of staying near sea is mesmerising. You have to struggle for drinking water staying near the sea. Even to eat tasty fish is a dream being near to sea . Tourism should take minute care of these all facilities . And enhance the Odia culture in food and stay rather being something different

Not at all recommended, pathetic experience by the staffs at the adventure ride counter. They will just sell the rides tickets and no proper facility for change room & fresh water for shower.

Eco Retreat Konark is a gem of a place... Must visit tourist destination in Odisha. A row of Luxurious, Spacious, AC tents along a clean, pristine private beach, each tent with its own sit-out. Sumptuous meals and a host of adventure and cultural activities add up to make the stay an incredible experience. The staff is very professional... hands-on, polite and respectful. The tariff also includes a complimentary visit to Konark Sun Temple, with an expert guide from the Odisa Tourism department.

I visited here six months ago from Bhubaneswar.My experience was very nice. Very nice place beach is clean. You will stay at beach only in a very nicecly made and maintained cottage. Food is also very nice, lunch evening snacks and dinner all was satisfying. All staff was also very friendly. And water sports is also avaliable. So overall i can say that it's a must visit place. Book tickets in advance and enjoy super fun weekend, transportation, food,stay,water sports and sightseeing all will take care by them. Very nicecly maintained by Eco Retreat management and all staff, please maintain this in future also.

Yaa it's a great place earlier, but after forming this Eco retreat an ordinary people's presence is really waste, they can't go to the beach..it's really made me sad

Nice place for chilling with friends but if you want to ride ATV then don't ride they are charging 500 and you will get it in 150 at chandrabhaga beach but if you are buying the whole package then you will get it for free

Great experience,however feels overpriced at times.They have slashed the prices for february now,hence one can take advantage of it now. The food is definitely not upto the mark,they should have given the catering to mayfair as they have for satkosia ecoretreat, this being the prime ecoretreat,the first one. Also,heater is not being provided in the tents,which is an incovenience for families with senior citizens during the chilly nights. The live events were amazing,unlimited time at the beach,viewing the sunrise/sunset,then lazying around the tents is an experience in itself hearing the waves. Water sports are being held in the vicinity-parasailing,jetski and jetboat,banana boat,some have a token provided by the resort,some need to be paid for separately.

Govt has tried to make it success but the hospitality team not able to. Govt should take care of this. After this review the concern team took care of us. They have all services team with them, management required to execute. Any way I would like to thank the team with my good wishes.

This was our second visit to the Retreat after Dec, 2019. We had booked two tents on 11th March’22. On checking in, we were thrilled to hear that our deluxe tent has been upgraded to premium. But this happiness soon withered away as soon as we entered our tent, it was 36 deg C. The AC was refusing to cool. The temperature started going down with the sun. Next day, it rose to 32 deg C by 10:00 am. Overall, the interior lacked cleanliness & hygiene. Visiting this place after 1March is debatable. Food presentation & management was disappointing. Evening cultural program & beachfront bar was good

Visited Overhyped EcoRetreat Konark Puri, and witness efforts by Odisha Tourism to make Goa but Water activities are highly overpriced compared to Goa, 4 activities(jet ski, banana ride, parasailing and bumper) can be brought for 2000 in Goa, but here only one activity i.e. parasailing is 2000. Boat ride is 1000. I am not comparing with Goa or event like Sunburn, but my point is if we wanted to attract tourists then definitely price should not be skyrocketted... All applies to Shacks, Cafes and Tents(8k - 25k per night). Hoping to see some changes next year.

Beautiful Beach and Less People. No garbage and I did not see any plastic scattered along the beach. You must visit this beach while you're around Puri and Konark. Better than Chandrabhaga Beach as it is crowded most of the time !
