Had a wonderful time at this Eco Resort. The Eco stay with its scenic location makes it one stop destination for people like us who look to seek some relief from their stressful city life, amidst nature, mud cottages are nice and spacious, we had booked the suite mud cottage and was pretty nice. The staffs are very courteous, the food was amazing, the veg cuisines can be better so they need to improve in this, otherwise the boat ride at the river mouth was breathtaking, couldn't ask for more

Great option to dine in while on a drive to Puri-Konark Marine Drive. Nice food and ambience. Staff was good as well. We reached late, around 10 PM. Still we got food, whereas other restaurants/resorts stopped allowing customers post 9 PM (e.g. Lotus Resorts, Eco Retreat etc.). As i understand, as other resorts, they are stay/check-in options as well, but couldn't explore more on the prices or conditions of the rooms/tents etc. I guess, they should be of decent quality. Looking forward to visiting again. 👍

Nice place to relax, so many trees and plants, we loving back here every weekend with family and friends, seafood is one of the best I can say. Generous staff very humble, the suite cottage was clean, they had arranged candle light dinner for us which was amazing.

Awesome place to visit. One must definitely visit this place to find the perfect aesthetic nature touched photo s. Also, they prepare the best cuisine to try for, with best quality ingredients and most importantly with minimal oil.

Try tempura prawn, we liked the preparation, very cordial staff and the owner herself, thank you for having us, we had a lovely time indeed. The river mouth boat ride was serene, one can go for a boat ride and have lunch at their restaurant being inside nature. Seafood cuisine are really good, one should surely try and visit here at Konark.

They won our heart with homely and quality food. Specially service and that friendly behaviour. Freshly baked cake for our anniversary. Ambiance was too good and authentic. Thank you WildDunes 😊

It's a serene place near the bank of river, with clean surrounding and best hospitality. USP is the owner takes personal care of all the guests starting from the booking till the departure including food quality and customised service. Best value for money and safety with quality at each step.

We were on our way to Puri from Konark. Landed up in this place to have lunch. I must say this place offers very good food . We ordered Jeera rice, dal tadka, veg jalfrezi and matar paneer and everything is top notch. Loved it. The ambience is also pleasant. Would definitely recommend it to everyone.

Had booked for 2 nights and left the place after staying the first night. No proper manager there , staff are very rude, overpriced rooms, limited food options. Overall worst decision staying here.

Amazing ambience, as the quote says " good food takes time" yes the food took a little time but was delicious, the tandoori fish was so good, tender. Polite staff, the ambience was rustic, suits the name of the place. Very underrated place to be. Please take care of the cooking time otherwise I think it's beautifully created, will definitely visit again.

I had a wonderful experience at WildDunes. Every staff member I encountered was very nice and helpful. And the food was delicious. The environment was pleasant and welcoming. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and were easy. This is by far the best hotel in Konark to stay in 😁👍

What a lovely shack/cafe, found this place on touring to konark, was stunned by the ambience, it was very nice, lot of trees and flowers, very different from normal restaurants. Food was good, veg items could be better. Cons : 1) network issues, 2) not enough washrooms 3) the road in front of the place needs to get better for parking

Ambience is awesome. Artificial backwater lake beside makes the sunset or sunrise a memorable place. You can also make a nightstay as rooms are available. Giving 4 stars as the prices i feel is a bit on the higher side.

Our stay at WildDunes Ecostar Eco Resort in konark was delightful, nice ambience , cozy rooms. The food was good but veg options can be better , the rivermouth is close by and is by far the best attraction to the property , had good time with my family. Thank you sudhanya maam for looking after and making the stay pleasant for us.

Great ambience, greater service, greatest food! We were floored by the wonderful hospitality shown by the owners themselves, let alone the resort staff. Had a wonderful time in the ethnic environs. Our stay at Wild Dunes will get permanently etched in our minds as a memory to be recounted to the posterity.

The property is lovely and completely covered by trees , the rooms ensure privacy and are maintained fairly well though the fixture and paint could do with some upkeep. The service is decent and the food was delicious, although breakfast options could have been more varied. Expect some ants and mosquitoes due to the location being very lush and Densely green. There is a river nearby and the beach is a ten minute drive from the location, if you're looking for a stay away from the crowds, it might pleasantly surprise you.

Honestly, nothing extra ordinary about the place but the price of the room is extremely high! About 6k-7k/night. Small rooms. Not well maintained too. Dirty sheets. Definitely, between the nature, nice cottage rooms but not worth the money. Food- 2/5, pricey but not upto the mark. I personally didn’t like the taste or find it near to the price they charge for it.

It’s one of the few places which is open late - the last order is around 10:30pm. A beautiful place to unwind after the second laser show at Konark. The Chinese fare was yummy. Seafood options were limited. The staff is friendly and helpful. Walk around the restaurant, there a lot of cute crafts and details. There is a beautiful lagoon at the back of the restaurant which gives a serene vibe! We thoroughly enjoyed being there.

We had taken lunch here at Wild Dunes while returning to Puri from Konark. They served us good food. Service good, parking available, wash room was clean. Cannot comment on rooms since we didn't stay there.

The host was wonderful to interact with and super helpful through the booking process. The staff was equally wonderful and made our stay really comfortable! The location is in a beautiful nature area, and ability to book cabs upon request if needing to visit konark or even puri. A special mention about the chef! The food is just excellent 👌 definitely worth the visit even if just for the food.

The property is located far from the madding crowd of Puri and Konark. It lies on the Puri Konark highway. The property is well developed with ample space and privacy between rooms and the rooms itself are quite luxurious and well maintained. But that's about it where the good is concerned. We went to check out the place and not reside so I don't quite know of the prolonged service but the staff were quite courteous when it came to showing us around. The location is quite drab and their selling point, the river is not well cultivated. So you're essentially living in the resort itself. Another flaw would be the lack of any services nearby. During your stay here you would be entirely dependent on the hotel for all requirements since the nearest available convenience store is at least 5km away. And the one thing that really put us down were the exorbitant room rents. That said, anyone looking to spend some time in solitude with nature around and a river by the resort, and prepared to shell out hefty sums of money for the luxurious rooms, this is a goodish bet.

A nice outdoors dine in option away from city. Try the tandoori fish and the lobsters with choice of sauce. Absolutely delicious. No alcohol inside. It's a good friend's and family place.

Good for group stay or family stay. Rooms are little bit overpriced.. Decor is basic and outside ambience is nice for bonfire during winters. Far from beach makes it inconvenient for beach lovers...

It is a cozy and beautiful resort situated near Chandrabhaga Beach... The staff is very courteous and helpful. They took utmost care of all our needs.. Being a pet-parent... This resort gets extra points for taking care of our four-legged son Krish.. Kudos to the team for making our stay so pleasant.

Service is a bit laid back and slow but the staff is very well mannered and cooperative. An easy 100 out of 100 for ambience if you are a nature lover. At night if you take a table on the other side of the main restaurant, you can hear the cries of many wild animals. It's very peaceful.

We visited its restaurant only for lunch. Food not so great particularly vegetarian food. And very unorganized way of serving the food. They served the curry before and we had to wait long for the rice and roti. Nice decor. Quite pricey for such goof ups and not great food. Need to improve on food quality and training of kitchen staffs.

We visited this property with our friends. The location and ambiance of the property was good. But only 1 ton of AC was installed in the family room we had booked and this was not able to cool the room at all. Food was good and the price was on the higher side.

Overrated prices of rooms. Staffs are not very trained. Not a upfront location. Overpriced food with tasteless food. Rather try having food in small restaurants. Please genuinely rate the hotels and restaurants as this is the only open platform of unbiased reviews. Basing upon these reviews tourists sometimes find deception and embarrassment.

Good to stay for eco feel. But please get valid clarification on dinner, breakfast and other add on on your package. Slow service but staff is good and very caring. Food is too good like home I.e. simple for specialty who loved North Indian food.

Good place to spend a weekend away from the city. The ambience is worth it. Had taken a family cottage for 4 pax and it was a comfortable stay. Nice place for small parties as well. Good food, can be customized as required. Cordial and supportive staff, Prakash, Parikhit and Chandan were of great help. Recommended.

Before the booking the owner assures you of the best service, however all that sweet talk ends once you visit the property and witness the appalling condition of the room and services. Dirty, torn and stained towels, stained bed spreads, broken latches in bathrooms, stained tiles , dirty carpets, non functional geyser, tv, almost 2 yr old shampoo, broken chairs and list goes on. The owners care a damn as they are aware folks who stay once will never ever come back and had the audacity to say that their rating is 4.2 and not worried about one negative rating. We had booked 3 rooms, one was okay, other 2 rooms were horrible

Being at prime location of Puri-Konark marine drive, it's close to Bay of Bengal and it has its own little river for boating. With cutting edge ideas, the rooms are very different from semi urban or urban hotels. It preserves the nature. All the wild trees as well as the garden its well preserved. The art on the room walls, the interior is something different from usual. It's very nice place for weekend stays, alone/family/friends. FYI take your own booze.

recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at this property, and I must say it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I feel compelled to share my thoughts and warn others about the subpar conditions and lackluster service I encountered. First and foremost, the room I was assigned to was in an appalling state. Not only was the air conditioning not functioning properly, but the overall atmosphere was horrendous. The room emitted a putrid stench that made me question whether something had been rotting within its walls for years. It was an unbearable odor that greatly affected my comfort and made my stay highly unpleasant. While the service provided by the staff was somewhat satisfactory, their behavior and attitude left much to be desired. The staff members appeared imbecilic and lacked any sense of professionalism. Moreover, I couldn't help but notice the uncomfortable stares I received as a woman. Their leering and inappropriate behavior made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unwelcome. Moving on to the food, it was an absolute disappointment. The taste was unpalatable, and it was evident that the dishes were not prepared using fresh ingredients. The lack of quality and care in the food served further added to my dissatisfaction with this establishment. The only redeeming aspect of this property was its location, which I must admit was convenient. However, there are numerous other properties in the area that offer far superior accommodations and amenities. Given the overall poor experience I had, I would strongly discourage anyone from considering this property as their choice of stay. In conclusion, I regretfully state that I will never recommend this property to anyone. The combination of the abysmal room conditions, dysfunctional air conditioning, repugnant odor, unprofessional staff, and disappointing food quality make it an establishment to be avoided. Save yourself the trouble and explore other options that are sure to provide a much more enjoyable and pleasant stay.

The place and ambience is amazing but the foods are not upto the mark. Room service was not that great. The geyser was not working even we went in December cold. If you want to feel nature and quietness you can visit but don’t expect the food to be great.

I went to this lovely, lively green restaurant. We ordered rice, chapati, dal fry, chicken butter masala, and kadhai panner for lunch here, and I'd say they offer a wide range of options. A must-see when visiting Konark Temple is this enjoyable location. For two, the pocket pinch would be rs500.

We went for lunch, but the receptionist was a bit rude, got a table really late. Food was good but we got the food after 1 hour, so service is poor. They focus more on parcels and food to the guests in their hotel rather than their restaurants.

The cottages were good overall but the highlight of the stay was the serene environment within the resort and the amazing service provided by the resort. Food was really great. A big shoutout to Basant for his mastery in cooking up delicious food and Parikshit for his amazing service. Good

Clearly overhyped. Avoidable. We has booked 2 family rooms which had a 1 ton AC. AC cooling was grossly inadequate. When asked to swap with other rooms, the management demanded extra amount. Washrooms are not very clean. Service is not upto mark. Food is expensive and portions are small.

WildDunes Eco Resort offers a unique blend of comfort and sustainability. The resort's commitment to eco-friendly practices is admirable, and the lush green surroundings create a serene atmosphere. Our cottage was cozy and well-appointed, with minimalistic yet tasteful decor. While the facilities are eco-conscious, some may find them slightly basic compared to conventional resorts. However, the resort's emphasis on nature-based activities, such as boating and nature trails, more than makes up for any perceived shortcomings. Overall, a memorable stay that left us feeling connected to nature.

So, my buddies and I hit up The Wild Dunes for a getaway, and let me tell you, it was awesome! Right from the get-go, the hosts were super friendly, making us feel right at home. And talk about privacy - we had our own little bubble of peace and quiet. The rooms were cozy, with killer views of the ocean. We spent our evening chilling by the pool and treating ourselves with good food. Plus, there were tons of fun things to do. Overall, it was the perfect escape. Can't wait to go back!
