This beach is important part of Balukhand-Konark Wildlife Sanctuary. Opens between 7 an to 5.30 pm permission required at gate with formalities. We stayed at Toshali sands and gate pass was provided by them only. The essence of private beach with clean and very handful of traffic makes it look more beautiful. You can relax under umbrellas available on rent and one path chitra artist has his collection for sale. The sanctuary has an area of 87 km², and is located along the Bay of Bengal coast, between the towns of Puri and Konark. The sanctuary includes sandy beaches, coastal dunes, groves of introduced Casuarina trees planted in 1916–17, and cashew plantations. Little of the native flora remains. The sanctuary was designated in 1984. This place is extremely suitable for the development of ecological tourism. The sanctuary is home to a herd of Blackbuck and Spotted Deer. Other animals found in the sanctuary include monkey, squirrel, jungle cat, hyena, jackal, mongoose and variety of birds and reptiles. olive ridley sea turtles nest on the beaches. Do spare some time and visit this place.

Puri Sea Beach is a captivating destination that offers a delightful beach experience on the eastern coast of India. As one of the most popular tourist spots in Odisha, Puri Sea Beach boasts a unique blend of natural beauty and cultural charm The only issue is if you walk 1-1.5km away you can see the city's sewage water being disposed of into the sea.

Calm and quiet beach inside Balukhand sanctuary. Approx 3km distance(through jungle mud road) from puri konark marine drive road.

Best beach in puri. The way to beach from the main road is around 3km and you can not go by walk. May be you need the ticket. If you stay in Toshali Sand, then it will be free. This is a santuary and then beach. Great experience when you are drivong through the santiary. I saw a spotted deer unfortunately 🙂 Timing - 8.30am to 4.30pm Beach is very clean and feel like private beach.

Extremely private beach due to ₹40 entry charge for Balukhand, approach road is a narrow dirt road but parking area exists next to the beach, suitable for cars). Has a sand sculpture on the beach made by some photographers often. Do not buy the semi precious stones, they are a scam.

The best place if you want a secluded yet safe beach experience. The entryway is through a cash-only ticket counter. They take money based on number of people and vehicle type. The path leading upto the beach is lush green and has a 'kaccha' road. This then leads upto a parking spot from where you can witness this paradise of a beach. There isn't much for entertainment or food except a vendor selling traditional odia art and another selling coconuts along with chairs and umbrella, so, I would recommend taking your own food arrangement (along with a bag to take back your waste like plastic etc). This is a very clean beach and we would like to keep it so. At times you can also witness sand art and do not forget to bring in volleyball or frisbees to enjoy your time here.

Calm and peaceful beach. This is a private beach location for Toshali Sand resort customers. Others can also come after buying a ticket at the entry point. Overall a good place for peaceful leisure.

Supposedly, a private beach of toshali Sands, it's actually a nature reserve owned by state govt, with ticketed entry. No services of any kind there, beaches right next to marine drive are equally better. So don't come here just for the beach, there are far better options and services at other beaches. If you must, come in the evening after 4:30, when there is a little shade ...

Tranquility and scenic beauty; great spot for being one with nature. Long stretch of woods before opening up at a peaceful beach.
