Better than other restaurants in Konark after Kamat Restaurant, Geetanjali Restaurant and Eco Retreat. Though we can not compare it with the standards of Metro cities but it’s a good thing that at least some decent cafe is near beach. Prices are average (although a bit higher compared to other restaurants nearby but quality is good) . I visit this place frequently so if you are in Konark and looking for a decent place to eat, this might be a good option to hang out.

Must visit this cafe/ restaurant if you are coming to Konark. It's under an OTDC n has good taste at a reasonable price. Suggested time evening as per ambiance.

I like it as open area, close to beach but calm and cool place, well behaved staffs. Good sea foods available.

Location is the best part of the restaurant. But there are total 4 people to manage the restaurant out which 2 are cook. So the service is really slow and the menu and food also needs lot of improvement. All things in menu are not available so you will get selective items to eat. If the management takes proper steps it could be a brilliant place to have food.

Ok and reasonable. Don't expect anything fancy. Food preparation is just average. It's just like a Dhaba. Open air restaurant managed by Orissa tourism Department (OTDC)

Chandrabhaga beach is popular and beautiful beach. It is very clean and outstanding beach. The distance from Konark Temple to Chandrabhaga beach around 3.5 km and 32 km from Puri. It is very popular for tourist attraction.

Items are good in taste, not much spicy, oily or masala. Limited items in menu, need to add more variants like Mutton, Sea Food etc. Somedays, items are not available too, but whatever available they are in delicious. Ambience is very soothing and calm. It's a kinda open air dine-in. But very less staff and slow service.

Food taste is Good. Price is average. But food quantity is very less . Example- We got only 5 pieces very small Prawn in a full plate of Prawn Curry worth 250/- . Due to Very less staff services are too delayed. Location is excellent. Staff are cordial. Toilet is worst ever, not atall maintained .

Please don't go there anyone to eat because the food is of worst quality. You just will regret like we are doing. Quality and quantity wise nothing is good.Just the state government name is not sufficient tolearn the best place to eat. So choose wisely.

Visited during day. Had dahi pakhala platter for Rs 300. Taste was good.Dining area was clean,however toilet was in a bad shape. Staff behaviour was good and so is the service. not the ideal place to have lunch if it's a hot n humid weather.

When you’ll go konark temple from Odisha then this beach comes first before konark temple, N these beach looks such god gift ,who give us . Tip—when you visit konark temple from Odisha you should also full your fuel bcoz no fuel station in these Routes.😊

Nice ambience, neat and clean place and beautiful greenery around, it is situated just next to the breach, a very nice place to stop for food when visiting Konark temple. Just the service was a little slow but the food was delicious and everything was freshly cooked.

The place is newly opened. I am giving 4 stars to this place. Let me explain why. Location: Once you complete the marine drive route, the place is located to the left. Easy to locate. Parking is available at the gate. Ambience: This is the best part. The place is open air with small shelters which can accommodate from 4 to 16 people. The distance between tables is COVID19 safe. I truly appreciate OTDC for this initiative. Food: They have a very small menu but remember, the food is awesome. If you intend to go, get the Vetki fried for starters. We did not get the Vetki but the manager did arrange us a Sheela fish. The fish was fried and then topped with roasted spices. Its one of a kind dish. Beautifully prepared (I cannot find the picture, else I would have uploaded). Remember, they will give a whole fish to eat, so prepare yourself. Next we ordered some poultry items and they were equally good. "So, if you are going for food and pics, this is the place." Service: Well, yes, this is the part which will impact. We arrived at 1:45 PM and left at 3:45 PM. It took them ~ 1.5 hours to arrange everything. Of course, there were other people who ordered food as well. Also, we took time to order items because we at first did not know that the food could be this awesome. "If you plan to visit, make sure you order everything, starters to main dish in a single go. " Overall, I think I did explain why I gave a 4 star rating, the service is what sums up to become a 5 star place. Once they have enough manpower, they can serve people quicker. It's sad to see a place with so much potential led to waste due to neglect. The food is decent and the staff is also good. It requires a renovation and proper maintenance.

This is a govt operated cafe, ambience is nice and relaxing, limited options of food and beverage. Do not expect high standards of service . Casual dining with family and friends besides the beach makes it a perfect place.

This beach is 30 kms from Puri and this is the best place to be at sunset . If you are staying in Puri you can hire a day long bike and travel to this beach. It’s on the way to Konark temple. For travellers it is very easy to cover the sun temple and this beach in a day. The beach is clean and the air is simply splendid during the evenings.

You will be surprised by their side dish quantity. Very very less quality and quantity. Keen only to sell water bottles. Don't even have any interest to ask whether you want anything else. They will through, what you ordered, on table and disappear from that place. If you want water or sauce you cannot able to ask for help. After you finish food, the man will appear in front of you and ask for next order.

I have never experienced such a worst hotel in my life.Kindly do not refer any body for lunch or dinner.They are providing very very very poor and worst service. I am giving zero rating to this hotel.

Nice place, most beautiful road from Puri to Konarak Temple

The service is not good and they respond lately and the washroom is not mentioned as well. But you know you should realise these things to recommend others will not to go there in further.

The location is awsome but the food is awful, tasteless and possibly the worst I had ever had in Odisha. OTDC needs to improve the quality of food they serve else customers will only walkin for photography and toilet usage...
