One of the terrific terrains and unique landscape in India. A must visit place for adventure enthusiasts and nature lovers. Do not miss the book ride and kayak, it's all worth every penny you spend on it. You will be recharged and refreshed completely after the visit. Please respect the nature and don't litter the surroundings. Don't play loud music during sun rise this will affect the bird activity.

A must visit place for nature lovers..... You can camp on the top with your tents or there is a camping site by the AP tourism department. You can use their toilets and wash rooms in the morning There is a zip line and boating at river activities also available You have enough basic food facilities like small hotels serving breakfast from morning 7 am itself till 9.30 pm You also get rooms a walkable distance from the view point One thing is near camping sites there are broken alcohol bottles and beer bottles which give a whole mess and safety issues , how people can be too irresponsible in a place like this Travel responsibly keep clean for the future to come ,rather than make it messy and govt to take action to impose restrictions in the place

Awesome place to chill out and stay for sunrise or senset. Location was simply fabulous at view point especially. Hotels are available on top of fort but they charge weekday and weekend basis. Plan for it atleast once this Grand Canyon of India.

Nice spot to enjoy the evening or early morning time. Boating is available if you reach before 5:30 pm. Call and confirm before going as it needs 1.5km walk down the hill to reach the reservoir water. If you can get a boat ride it's a must, only one boat is there so waiting time could be on the longer side.

Must visit place. The landscape is extraordinary. Visit this place early morning or evening. Plan your stay online before visiting. Lots of tent stay available though. Only below average restaurants are available. Drive to this place is also awesome.

This place is really nice. Landform is totally different, you can get a vibes like Arizona grand Canyon, penna river flows here, all sides are covered by boulder and differents shapes and different types of stones make a spectacular physiography. The water color of the river is green, it's make this place more beautiful. Specially if you are there in sunrise and sunset time, very longtime you can cherish this moment. But this place is offbeat, not such a popular tourist spot still, so availability of everything is missing. It's situated in rayalseema region of the Andhrapradesh, so it's literally hot over in the year, so please avoid summer time. Carry enough water and umbrella. There is not that much option to stay, only haritha resort is there which is running by Andhrapradesh govt.

You won't believe this place is in India. Truly the Grand Canyon of India. The view is breathtaking. Be ready for strong winds though. Sunset view is the best you can get. Not only the canyon, you'll get to see the fort, old jail, Charminar, temple - altogether a complete package. Spend as much time time as you like. Camping is advisable if you're really adventurous.

It's called the Grand Canyon of India. A nice place for a hangout for a day with a family. The experience of taking a car inside near the fort is awesome a very small and narrow road.

This was a wonderful experience. A must visit place. A place where you can see both the sunset and sunrise. The grand canyon of India is a massive gorge . Has a fantastic viewpoint from the top and boating facilities in the gorge river. But the only way to reach the boating place is a good trek/climb downhill through a stony path .... The path is marked with arrows showing the easiest way to navigate the downhill path. Easy for a person with fair stamina. A little difficult, but manageable for a person like me with little knee issues. Boating is a speed boat for 6 or 7 people + driver. There is a wait till the boat is filled. We were five ladies, so we got a boat to ourselves. We took the first ride at 7.30 am and had a wonderful time for 30 minutes. Rates were Rs. 250 /- per person. Stay is in the Aptdc Hotel Haritha a few hundred metres from the fort entrance. There are a good number of camping sites on the gorge. Not a good place to visit for a rainy season as the stone path may become slippery. This place is also had atleast 5 couples there for a.pre-wedding shoot. Some of them were so courageous (or would i say foolish) to go to the edge of the gorge and precariously balance for a picture. Ofcourse, the pictures would be fantastic, but is it worth the risk ? Only other issue is that the place has not been maintained well. Paper, plastic and garbage is strewn all over the place..... If the Aptdc officials are reading this, could you please note and take action ? It would be a great attraction, if the place is well maintained and cleaned up.

One of the most beautiful and unique place I ever visited. We stayed in tent at this place for 1night and experience was very good. Enjoyed Nice weather and BONAFIRE in night with friends and family. Food veg/nonveg available and it was homely food. In morning you will get to see beautiful sunrise where all surrounding turns into golden colour. Also visited Gandikota Fort, which is must visit.you can take car inside, however road is not good so I will recommend to park vehicle at fort entrance and walk from there. One important thing if you follow Google maps then it will take you to the wrong direction where road closure ahead. So better to ask local people from jammalamadugu. There is bridge collapsed on the way but kaccha road is available side by.

Best time to visit is winter and the mornings. One can directly enter into the fort with their own vehicle. There is camping site and boating facility in the canyon.

Very unique view of nature. If possible, stay a night and go to the fort by 6/6.30 am to see sunrise and the remaining fort before hot sun comes up. There is a mildly tough Trek to go down the canyon and do boating in the river in between the canyons, which is a unique experience. Note that the tourism infra around is not very sophisticated. You will get the basics.

It’s a wonderful place to solidly kill a day, don’t go during summers or be ready to be roasted. In for a bit of trekking then you should try the boat ride, which was awesome.

The view is exquisite, you can see the canyon and take beautiful pictures. Being there gives you peace. Highly recommended. I shall put 5 stars for the place and the view, but unfortunately is full of garbage. I hope it is better maintained.

One must visit this place. It’s worthy to travel all along and having a peaceful time here. It is extremely serene. This place is 31km from Tadpatri and whim travelling you will find awesome road to reach there. There are temples, Fort and Finally Grand Canyon. There are lot of resorts with AC facility but I would suggest to go there to have camping. You will fall in love with nature if you visit this place. Must visit in morning or evening or night. Overall experience was awesome. Loved it.
