This
was
a
wonderful
experience.
A
must
visit
place.
A
place
where
you
can
see
both
the
sunset
and
sunrise.
The
grand
canyon
of
India
is
a
massive
gorge
.
Has
a
fantastic
viewpoint
from
the
top
and
boating
facilities
in
the
gorge
river.
But
the
only
way
to
reach
the
boating
place
is
a
good
trek/climb
downhill
through
a
stony
path
....
The
path
is
marked
with
arrows
showing
the
easiest
way
to
navigate
the
downhill
path.
Easy
for
a
person
with
fair
stamina.
A
little
difficult,
but
manageable
for
a
person
like
me
with
little
knee
issues.
Boating
is
a
speed
boat
for
6
or
7
people
+
driver.
There
is
a
wait
till
the
boat
is
filled.
We
were
five
ladies,
so
we
got
a
boat
to
ourselves.
We
took
the
first
ride
at
7.30
am
and
had
a
wonderful
time
for
30
minutes.
Rates
were
Rs.
250
/-
per
person.
Stay
is
in
the
Aptdc
Hotel
Haritha
a
few
hundred
metres
from
the
fort
entrance.
There
are
a
good
number
of
camping
sites
on
the
gorge.
Not
a
good
place
to
visit
for
a
rainy
season
as
the
stone
path
may
become
slippery.
This
place
is
also
had
atleast
5
couples
there
for
a.pre-wedding
shoot.
Some
of
them
were
so
courageous
(or
would
i
say
foolish)
to
go
to
the
edge
of
the
gorge
and
precariously
balance
for
a
picture.
Ofcourse,
the
pictures
would
be
fantastic,
but
is
it
worth
the
risk
?
Only
other
issue
is
that
the
place
has
not
been
maintained
well.
Paper,
plastic
and
garbage
is
strewn
all
over
the
place.....
If
the
Aptdc
officials
are
reading
this,
could
you
please
note
and
take
action
?
It
would
be
a
great
attraction,
if
the
place
is
well
maintained
and
cleaned
up.
