Very lively hall with a lot of youngsters.. IT mostly busy but very spacious

Staff over there are so welcoming. The rooms are very affordable. They have canteen services that provide a range of local foods. There's a snack shop as well as other necessary utilities that make a place livable. But the rooms aren't that large

Valco hall is a students residential hall located at the new site [science]. It is a very beautiful hall with a well equipped basketball court right before it. It located between the Casford and Nkrumah halls. The residence are famously call the industrialist

Otherwise known as the industrial Hall is one of the best students hostels at UCC. There's a canteen where they sell pastry, drinks and food.

Very convenient rooms with beds, lockers, shelves, study tables and chairs. Tidy environment and the fact that provision is made for electricity during general light outs is really cool. Good library and there's an infirmary that does really well to take of students and their health.

I had the privilege of residing in Valco hall during my time as a first year student of University of Cape Coast , and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in every aspect. Valco hall is truly the epitome of excellence, offering an unequal experience in entertainment, sports, and academics. The entertainment facilities provided in the hall are exceptional. From regular movie nights to talent shows and cultural events, there was always something exciting happening. The hall committee went above and beyond to create a vibrant and inclusive atmosphere, fostering a sense of community among residents. As a sports enthusiast, I was thrilled by the variety of sports facilities available. The state-of-the-art gymnasium and well-maintained courts catered to every sporting need. Friendly inter-hall competitions and tournaments further enhanced the sporting spirit within the hall. The academic support provided by the hall cannot be overstated. The dedicated study spaces were conducive to focused learning, and the regular workshops and study groups helped foster a culture of academic excellence. Moreover, Valco hall management and staff were extremely approachable and supportive. They maintained a safe and conducive environment, ensuring the well-being of all residents. In summary,Valco hall stands out as an exceptional place for students. It seamlessly combines a vibrant social life with outstanding sports facilities and a focus on academic achievement. I am grateful for the incredible experiences and memories that I made here. If you're seeking an all-around enriching university life, Valco hall comes highly recommended. It's one of the most great halls to be in UCC. Even if you do not get an accommodation there, just go and explore that particular hall(especially on weekends). You'll never regret it!!!!
