Almost 52 ft water level in Dam on 16th February 2022. Surrounding villages are blessed to have this dam here. It covers and supply water to most of the villages in Andra Pradesh. Dont forget to Visit Balanjaneya swamy temple in BTP village

It's was old dam and the Tungabhadra Dam has withstood the test of time for over 70 years and is expected to well cross many more decades. The chief architect of the dam was Vepa Krishnamurthy, an engineer from Madras Public Works.

This dam is the only dam in Rayadurg taluk. It's an interesting place to visit when the reservoir is filled with water. The visitors must keep this place neat and clean. They must not litter.

This dam fills very rarely. In last 9 years I saw water twice only. Good for families.
