Huligemma Devi temple is situated in Huligi village, Munirabad.. 13th century temple devoted to Shree Huligemma Devi. Devotees visit the temple for Darshan and Pooja purposes offering obeisance and devotion. The Annual fair is grandly celebrated and a surge of devotees is observed. Devotees strongly believe that the Goddess Huligemma Devi offers them good wishes and boons. Other than regular Pooja worshipping, Devotees make oblations and meat-offerings during the annual fair..

It's very Hindu temple dedicated to Renuka featuring a courtyard, a pond & a colourful tower indu temple dedicated to Renuka featuring a courtyard, a pond & a colourful tower Beautiful and powerful temple. One must not plan river bath as the riverside is very dirty and stinking water. Temple management really needs to improve on cleanliness, parking and definitely the river has to flow and probably bring regulations around the usage of river water to make it healthy and spiritual for devotees. Take bus from Hospete to reach Munerabad close to huligemma temple. Temple is crowded in the weekend. Nice place to view Tunga river. Inside temple is not allowed. You will get Darshana from outside temple. Everyday Annaprasadam is served at temple.

It is situated in the village of Kyathanahalli, which is about 150 kilometers from Bangalore. The temple is dedicated to the goddess Huligemma, also known as the "Tiger Goddess." The temple follows a traditional architectural style of South India. It has a simple yet elegant structure, with the main sanctum housing the idol of Huligemma. The temple complex also includes other smaller shrines dedicated to various deities.

The Huligemma temple is a 13th century temple devoted to Goddess Huligemma. A most powerful Goddess Belief Huligemma Devi is an incarnation of Goddess Renuka Devi. It is believed that Mother Shakti appeared in the form of Goddess Huligemma before two of her ardent devotees named Nagajogi and Basavajogi at Huligi in Karnataka.A must visit place can be reached by bus from Hosapete (8 km) or Koppal (20 km). Train stations include Hosapete or Munirabad railway station.

I recently visited Huligemma Temple, and while the spiritual experience was profound, there are some aspects that deserve attention. **Pros:** - Spiritual Significance: Huligemma holds a special place in the hearts of many, especially for people from Uttar Karnataka and Maharashtra. - Community Vibe: The close-knit community of devotees adds to the overall positive atmosphere. **Cons:** - Infrastructure: The temple could benefit from improved facilities to accommodate the increasing number of devotees. - Cleanliness: Maintaining cleanliness is essential, and a concerted effort from the community and authorities could make a significant difference. **Suggestions:** - Community Involvement: Encourage local communities to actively participate in temple upkeep. - Infrastructure Development: Advocate for necessary improvements to make the temple more accessible and comfortable for all devotees. Overall, Huligemma Temple is a spiritual gem that could shine even brighter with a little community effort and infrastructure development. It's crucial to address the temple's cleanliness and infrastructure needs to ensure a comfortable environment for devotees. Perhaps organizing community efforts or reaching out to local authorities can help bring attention to the situation and promote development. Engaging with the endowment department and highlighting the significance of Huligemma for people from Uttar Karnataka and Maharashtra might also garner support for improvements.

It is like Normal Temple For me Not a Big Famous Temple like Tirupathi Venkateswara Swamy Temple. But Temple is Big and much nice place you can Visit on Normal days but according to my suggestion and my experience please dont visit on special/occasional/festival days these days u can't visit and prayer properly beacuse Fully Crowded, No Cleanliness at all very Dirty On Walking Areas inside and outside the temple because you need to remove your slippers right. And Finally Lots of Noise i.e Out of Peace on these days. So I'm Really Suggesting you People 'Don't go on Festivals' and especially every Tuesdays and Fridays please don't visit because it's an auspicious days for huligemma devi so all devotees are visited for darshan there people think that these days the goddess power has increased so bless everyone with good heart and that is why so much crowded. Normal days also I visited it is nice and darshan happened freely. Some Cars are Going Near to temple I don't know why!! I think because of having special passes. Actual rule they are not allowing any vehicle nearby temple premises. So be careful. And Slippers responsible by you bcs sometimes the takecarer are not available they didn't seem anywhere so be careful with your belongings. Coming to the inside temple this corona time they are not allowing to go inside to dwara i.e nearby to goddess huligemma devi Shrine like before. So the goddess can't visible clearly. Inside Temple the Pujari is taking only flowers not any other things like coconut, agarbatti, bananas etc.. And if u bring Coconut they said you to break it outside the temple when u r leaving. Break it outside and keep it there only and do Namaskara then leave it. Finally the Temple is Very Nice but People is not good at all they not clean and neat. The area of temple is some village it is very inside not an open area so be careful. Don't go on night time I prefer to go day time.

Divine Place to visit to seek blessings of Devi Huligemma. However, places around the temple needs more cleanliness. There is a need to inculcate awareness among visitors to maintain hygiene and sanitation. Mostly visitors are from nearby villages and towns. Also we need to draw attention of Temple Trustees, Local Government bodies to enhance picturesque of the area.

This temple hosts the family Deities who undertake pilgrimages to worship here at least once in a lifetime. The archives (on parchment) and the updated data therein and the retrieval systems have to be seen to be believed..The temple is nice with calm and cool atmosphere. All rituals are performed in traditional manner. Small shops offer food and other items at economical rates.
