We had Banana leaf Thali - Veg Price - Rs 180 per thali + GST ~ Rs 190 per thali Many items were there - also, unlimited spread Loved the gesture of serving - full of love and attention inspite of rush . (Yes, usually you may have to wait upto 30 mins to get your turn). Located outside Vijayawada( in Guntur District) - yet is usually house full. People drive all the way to have food here - is what we heard from locals. We specially loved - aloo pyaz dry sabji, both type of papu, the cream & the curd , & the 2 podis served. Tip - go a little early..because by 1 pm it gets very Crowded.

Great quality food at a very reasonable price. The servers were prompt & kind. The foods basic but very tasty and healthy. Don’t miss the cream yogurt at the end. Just loved the taste of the food & the simplicity at the place.

One of the best place to have vegetarian and no veg meals. Andhra meals is awesome. The Hotel is very neat and clean and since the hotel is spacious you will easily get the table for you and your family . these guys serve very hot and tasty meals, biryani and some non veg sides. The car parking space is humongous and you can safely park your cars for free.

Murugan Serves Veg Meals with Non Veg Sides. The price of the meals is pretty high as compared to other very good Meals places like Ramayya Mess where in 200 you get a lavish spread. The food served is good and fresh. The staff was very polite. I liked the fish fry a lot. Chicken Fry was also good. Mutton Curry with tasted good as well. Service was quick. They accept UPI and cash. No cards.

First thing is food is excellent here.Mainly two sections available veg and non veg sections. I tired both veg and non veg ( chicken dum biryani only) both tastes good. Parking facility is available.veg melas is 170/- and non veg depends on item.

I ate veg meals consecutive two days, both the days my stomach got upset and vomited. Even my friends also vomitted. May be this restaurant is not healthy, and not recommended for sensitive stomach people. Even the price is also high. Ambience is good.

In recent times one of the best Vegetable meals hotel. At cost of Rs 180 per head. I never tasted proper good meals even in Vijayawada also. Any one who is travelling in the Highway here can stop and enjoy the meal They offer even meegada and ghee separately along with pickle and kandhi podi also There is parking place also

The beast ever thali in Andhra. Excellent taste with multiple varieties of curry’s. The service from the hotel is very good as the crowd is too high the service was good. The servers of the hotel ask to taste the food and all variety as if we are their relatives. They give as a cup of gee on the table. The table will be served with the curry’s placing the item their itself. The food is served only in their afternoon,their is no dinner section in this hotel. I have tasted the food 5 years back and they maintained the same taste upto to today. They serve non veg also.

It is on guntur vijaywada highway towards vijaywada. Heard they maintaining since 1972. Service is good but curries are not that expected. It's an average meals with the proce they charged 180/- unlimited meals.

Murugan Hotel is the most crowded and far over-rated eatery off the Vijayawada and Guntur National Highway near to the Nagarjuna University. It's large dining hotel and is useful to those who visit the Andhra Pradesh State Capital, Amaravati and the State High Court. Actually, it's a large format Mess than any normal hotel. Murugan Hotel serves fresh and hot lunch, both Vegetarian and non-Vegetarian, which attracts clients who like real spicy food. The Lentils (Dal), Curries, Fries, Sambar, Rasam, Chutneys, etc., are liberally spiced with Ginger, Garlic, Onions, Green Chillies, which titillate the pallet of connoisseurs of such foods. Full Cream Curd is an attraction. Murugan food can be preferred occassionally for it's tangy vibes. But those frequent travellers who are forced to eat outside their home, may find it evenly uniform and avoidable. However, Murugan food is memorable more for its freshness and spiciness than for its good taste. Super delicious andhra food. Open only from 1130 am to 430 pm. Just beside NH on service road after crossing mangalagiri toll plaza. Car parking is there. Full meals @190 rs. Rest rooms also there.

It’s a huge dining in two different buildings on NH from Vijayawada to Guntur. Busy during peak hours, fast and friendly service by team. Veg meals and non veg varieties are available. Food is good and quality and tasty. They are serving only Lunch during 11.30-4.30. Highway travelers good option for food, rest rooms and car parking available. If you see outside, seems to be marriage function that kind of busy

Disappointments: 1)Food is not much better taste when we see it as a brand.., 2) Serving persons not using hand gloves and head caps, masks. 3) Using meal curries utensils for serving is common for all, I think it should be give to us in organic disposable cups separately. 4) There are no Car parking security precautions 5) Difficult to find a serving man, because they were not wearing uniform Advantages: 1) Car Parking is huge 2)Serving meals on banana leaves, I think this is much better than artificial disposables. 3)Sanitation precautions are better than others.

They have veg & non-veg resturants in different buildings side to each other. We tried veg meals here, quality is very good. You might not feel a great ambiance here but you can expect good food here. There might be waiting time here based on the time you visit the place.

Best place to have veg meals in Guntur Vijaywada Highway. Best in taste and best in quantity...the hospitality and the respect for customers will make you feel VIP. They won't charge for kids and they won't accept tips.

Decent place with nominal price for a unlimited thali on banana leaf with wide variety of curries @180 rupees...Fish fry is the signature dish, muttoncurry and prawns fry are delicious...last but not least don't forget to ask curd cream to add a different taste for your food.

I have seen many YouTube videos and came all the way from USA to have lunch here. And it has reached all the expectations. Food taste amazing and fresh and very authentic. I highly recommend this place if you want to taste a great meals. Btw the staff is so friendly and very helpful.

Delicious for vegetarians... And non veg part fish pulus is superb.. Iam from Telangana so non veg not that much impress...u will try fish curry is nice.. And dosakai pickle, pappu and ghee is very tasteee....

What a place! Absolutely delicious!! Delighted to have traditional Andhra Bhojanam (Meals) here. Every single item in the plate was delicious and mouth-watering. Very friendly staff and service is good. Parking space is also good. Mutton curry seemed a little bit higher in terms of cost. Rest all is perfect.

Very hyped place meals was normal nothing special. Except curd. No much options in non veg on Saturday afternoon. Only chicken fry,mutton gravy n omlet available. Chicken fry was not that great. Meals price at 190 is not upto standards better go to mess and have some better food. Heavily crowded . Chicken 190 was ok.

Good food. We had veg thali. The rice is served hot. It had 6 curries+, dal, sambar, majjiga charu, curd, sweet, pickle, curry leaf powder and kandi podi with ghee, - all tasted good. Papad is crispy. All the items served are unlimited.The staff is very courteous and made multiple trips to make sure we had happy and scrumptious meal. They also have a non-veg serving restaurant right behind the veg restaurant. Will try it later.
