You know a small place is famous when its the landmark in the area for finding houses. This place was originally started by their father has grown to the behemoth it is. Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday are the busy days in here. Every small chop is Rs.5 (As of 2023) in here. I have been eating here since the last 15 years on and off. No parking as its on the lane itself so park you 2-wheeler on the side and enjoy some hot chops. Just dont throw garbage anywhere and have the decency to park your vehicle such that others can still drive on the road.

One such place is Kalia Bhai Chop Stall... If you are non-veg lover foodie, then this place should be at the top of your list when you visit Cuttack...It's located in a narrow lane but the food and the food maker Kalia Bhai are both awesome....You can try chops(dumplings) of chicken, mutton, prawns, egg, veg chops too... These chops cost ₹4-5 per piece which is quite pocket-friendly and once you start eating you crave for more... Give this place a definite visit... You'll love it.(NOTE-IT OPENS IN EVENING AFTER 5PM)

Very bad taste . Only potatoes smashed with little chicken / mutton , god knows what ratio they maintained. Overall it was just hyped. No special taste or quality u get. I would say just avoid since the oil they use to fry these are also not upto the quality. Some local brands that I never heard of . Atleast use some branded oil ,it's a matter of health which will not function good once it get damaged. Rest it's upto all . I request food audit officer to have a check on this .

Kalia Bhai, very Humble and Nice man. Serves Delicious chops. Fried fresh and served piping hot.. Mutton chop, chicken chop, liver and kidney chops, are very tasty. Chutney is also Very Delectable.

Awesome food.. Mouth watering menu. IT is very famous in Cuttack by the name, " Mutton Chop of Proffessor para,.. " Chops of varied variety .. U can get Mutton Chop, Chicken Chop, Prawn Chop, Egg Chop, Prawn Cutlet, Chicken Wings, Mutton Champ,, U will get a mouthful. Small chops of pieces of chiken, Mutton wrapped in a coating of potato.. Taste it and u shall cherish it. Taste was good especially the chingudi(prawn) chap. But the most beautiful experience was interacting with the owner of the shop, Kalia Bhai...... really friendly attitude and nice behavior.... thank you Kalia Bhai for a happening evening

Place is extremely overrated. If you’re travelling from bbsr just to have their chops please don’t, they’re not worth it. Taste is below average, price is decent but definitely not worth the hype.

The most bakwas thing eaten ever in my life... People do come to have for good food but they just earning money except the delivering test. Worst ever experience...

For me taste was okay. Not a die hard fan of nonveg. Dogs will run around you, as nonveg is being sold.

The only compliant about the size of the Cutlets is small. The taste is awesome and 20 pieces for 100/- is very good. I like the taste and going ther e since 2004.

It was very tasty. For me It was something new which I tried. Their chicken and mutton chops are very costly,they are small and have only a small single piece. Rest other items are very good and justify to their money. You can go and try it.

Cuttack is a place with many small scale eateries.. like many of them, this Kalia Chop dukan is located in one narrow lane of Professor Pada near one old apartment. The shop owns it's tradition.. But u may feel like it hasn't aged satisfactorily... The same old style is set up with less importance to hygiene and all... Above all that u can try a variety of chops ( chicken,mutton,chinkudi,paneer) - stuffed with mashed potato and dough. Costs around 5-10/ piece Was tasty 3.5/5.👌 Can try as an evening snack spot. Beware of hungry dogs nearby 🙄 Cons :- The same old shop with minimal cleanliness. Oil can be seen reused since days.

Unique recipe of fried meat mashed inside boiled potato. Overall it's a good experience and Kalia bhaina (owner) is very interactive. The only downside is the reused burned oil. One would experience fresh new flavour at a road side joint.

Normally it located inside a gully and the location is too small for someone to go with car. Taste overall is good but you have to wait for a long time to get your order.Chicken chop highly recommend when you visit there.

This shop is very famous for mutton chop. Nice tiny size chops are available here. These have also a good taste. Very old shop in Cuttack. Very rush at evening time. Shop owner kalia bhai is very good man. This place is also known as prafesherpada chop. Try mutton champ really very delicious.

Size of chops are micron as compared to price. Should increase the size of chop a little more. Then price to food will be worthy.

Delectable road side food, small in size ,rs 5 per piece but very tasty . Besides Kalia there is Babu chop store,brother of Kalia. Both have same taste .
