King's
Lodge
was
recommended
to
us
by
our
New
Delhi-based
Indian
travel
agency,
Nature
Safari
India,
which
specializes
in
wildlife
travel
in
India
(but
not
only).
King's
Lodge
is
surrounded
by
lush
nature.
It
has
no
unnecessary
luxuries,
but
is
very
well
maintained
in
every
aspect.
The
rooms,
or
rather,
the
chalets
are
very
spacious
and
clean.
The
private
outdoor
area
is
also
very
comfortable.
The
common
areas
consist
of
a
spa,
indoor
dining
room,
a
wonderful
outdoor
dining
area,
a
swimming
pool,
a
vegetable
garden,
a
butterfly
garden,
a
fantastic
reading
area,
and
an
outdoor
bar.
There
is
also
a
small
store
where
you
can
buy
souvenirs,
even
beautiful
paintings
by
a
local
artist.
All
areas
are
extremely
clean
and
neat,
thanks
to
the
careful
and
meticulous
work
of
all
the
guys
on
the
staff.
The
cuisine
(both
Indian
and
non-Indian)
is
excellent.
But
what
impressed
me
most
is
the
professionalism,
courtesy,
and
dedication
of
all
the
staff.
Any
wish
was
instantly
fulfilled
always
a
loving
smile.
We
stayed
the
first
week
of
January
when
during
the
early
mornings
and
evenings
the
cold
weather
could
be
bothersome.
But
no
problem,
the
staff
will
give
you
all
the
help
to
be
at
your
best.
Although
January
is
not
the
best
time
to
spot
tigers,
thanks
to
our
guide,
mr
Sanjay
Gupta
(ask
for
him
if
possible,
you
won't
regret
it!),
we
saw
as
many
as
5
tigers
(three
males
and
two
females),
2
very
close,
2
at
medium
distance,
and
1
at
50
meters.
Of
these
4
in
the
core
zone
and
1
(even)
in
the
buffer
zone.
Trust
Mr.
Sanjay
Gupta
and
his
valuable
advice!
Bandhavgarh
is
a
wonderful
park!
