Any person visiting Albania, YOU MUST EAT HERE!! This is the absolute best food I had during my vacation, and dare I say ever in my life. The kabob was so delicious, the salad AMAZING (highly recommend the green salad, then add salt, pepper, vinegar, and olive oil), and the lakror ne sac was life changing. I visited from America and can definitely say food here doesn’t even compare to this place. The owner was also very kind and welcoming. Thank you for the delightful experience!

Great service, atmosphere and delicious food! Voskopoje is a very small town with not too much to see but the food is definitely worth the visit. This is the highest rated restaurant in the town and I can see why. We couldn't decide on what to get so we went a little crazy and ordered 6 dishes and 2 desserts. The waiter was a little concerned it was too much food and then gave us a half serving of two of the dishes so we could try it. We ordered Lakror Ne Sac (tomato and onion was the best), grilled lamb (very tender), meatballs (heaps of flavour but a little dry) and tripe (tasty but its not really my thing). The waiter was also kind enough to bring out a tasting plate of different rakis before we could choose one (although I think he was worried we wouldn't be able to handle the taste - he was right but we ordered it anyway to be polite). The pengjir (Albanian cake) was soft, fluffy, light and not overly sweet. The baklava was not very flakey and a little dry. I'd recommend just going for the pengjir.

Brilliant restaurant in terms of food quality. One of the tastiest in Albania. We had spit roast lamb which had great balance of lamb and spice, and not too tender but not too hard. Good amount of fat. The lamb intestines wrapped around finally buts which was also ridiculously tender and tasty and also the Qofte meat balls which although slightly dry was seasoned perfectly. We tried the lakror ne sac which we kept seeing in photos and apparently this is a Korce area speciality. Super tasty, preferred the tomato and onion one compared to yoghurt and egg (palate not used to acidity) We also tried the local cheese selection -my goodness local produce is delicious. And had some Rakis to try before deciding on the cornel. Spent a while here because e had lots of food, but it was great to see large and small families come in to feast. This place has two floors and is definitely the institution you don't want to miss. Oh the only thing was the baklava which although claimed to be homemade, missed the mark.
