We
had
lunch
here
on
a
sunny
Sunday
afternoon.
at
the
end
of
April.
The
restaurant
can
be
found
on
Google
Maps,
but
it
is
very
easy
to
walk
past-it
-
doesn't
have
a
huge
sign
nor
bill-board
menu
outside.
It
is
well
known
and
liked
by
locals.
It
wasn't
busy
when
we
visited.
There
is
soft
and
pleasant
ethnic
music
playing,
smokers
seem
to
go
outside.
There
are
several
rooms.
It's
a
family-owned
restaurant
with
a
long
history.
It's
an
extremely
pleasant
place
to
dine.
There
is
a
varied
menu,
depending
on
season
and
markets.
My
wife
had
wild
duck,
in
an
enjoyably
and
different
style-
not
the
usual
French
presentation
of
a
single
rare
duck
breast.
Here
there
was
a
thick
spicy
sauce
that
did
not
overwhelm
the
delicious
dark
meat.
Also
on
the
menu
were
various
game
dishes
(rabbit
,deer,
boar)
and
the
famous
Ohrid
Lake
trout
"koman".
There
were
many
intriguing
seafood
offerings
including
eel,
carp,
roe,
and
a
type
of
lake
perch.
For
the
more
conservative
diner
there
was
pork,
chicken,
and
beef
offerings.

chicken,
and
"
mish
lope/
mish
vici"
(young
beef
vs
older
beef).
In
season
they
also
have
listed
various
organ
meat
dishes.
Not
every
menu
item
is
always
available,
of
course.
The
food
is
locally
sourced
(like
everything
in
Albania).
More
than
anything-
the
ambience,
the
food,
and
the
entire
slow
dining
experience
reminded
us
both
of
small
family
run
"inns/
country
cafes,
or
grills"
in
rural
southern
France.
Very
reasonable
prices
also.
A
salad/meze
for
two,
a
half
carafe
of
wine,
a
large
beer,
and
a
duck
dish,
and
grilled
porkchops,
a
full
round
loaf
of
warm
bread
(the
best
we've
had
in
Albania)
.
Our
entire
pleasant
and
leisurely
meal
came
to
2800
LEK,
(approx.
25Euro/27USD)
We
recommend
Pogradeci/
Poradeci
Restaurant
strongly.!
