It is a perfect place for adrenaline junkies. (I am not one). Roads are sometimes precarious and steep. Views are breathtaking, on top of the world.

Spectacular views. This was the highlight of my holiday. I had a Suzuki Jimmy and the roads, particularly in the middle of the route, are only accessible in an off road vehicle. Make sure you're well prepared before you go as there are only a view basic mountain villages on this route. There are plenty of water wells for topping up your drink bottles with fresh water. Large patches of the road lack any phone signal at all so if you get in a new you're on your own!

The national park has two main places you can visit. The Fir area requires an off road vehicle to gain access and therefore we did not visit it. The thermal springs were lovely you reach the famous bridge and pay a small fee just before entering. 50 lek for a car. There are two thermal baths with springs and if you walk up the river which generally doesn't get higher than your knees you will come to another. A popular place with locals on the weekend. Close to the town of Permet where you can find a tourist information with free maps, information about the area including the nation park and directions.

Free entrance, relaxing area of you get there early. You do need to shower after using the sulphur spring - I would suggest an early visit, then use your hotel to shower of staying close by

Please do not do the full track on the trail which is marked as road in Google Maps through the park. Even with a 4x4 it is really difficult and from a certain point even very dangerous (drop offs next to the trail and lose gravel). I don't know why there is not even a warning sign.

Beautiful spot. A very hot walk to get there from the car park, but the view when you're there and the water is definitely worth it.

The canion is the most amazing place in Albania. There is shallow river that runs through it which can be cross by foot. There are also lots of thermal springs and waterfalls. Superb!!!!!

A must to see and visit despite the hard road. In this place you can be one with NATURE and hear only the chirping of the birds.
