Fantastic food, great ambience and amazing food. Soni & Vani were exceptional. Would highly recommend.
We had an absolutely amazing experience here. The food was amazing, with a huge array of seafood to choose from. The staff were lovely and accommodating, and when they heard that it was both one of our group's birthday, as well as last day in Fiji, they sang for us on 2 seperate occasions. Cannot recommend enough. There was even a built in shark/fish feeding experience!
Incredible meal! Absolutely wonderful food, must try the mahi-mahi. Staff were overall extremely friendly although a few instances of unprofessionalism. Definitely recommend however, one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to, atmosphere is incredible
The best place to come on the Coral Coast hands down! The setting is stunning & I love the atmosphere; the sand on the ground inside the restaurant adds such a special touch. The food is all outstanding, but a couple dishes that stood out were the garlic prawns, scallops and the seafood chowder. Above all though, the staff are what make this place! Thank you Adi, Semi, Ruci, Sala and Chefs for being such a lovely part of our holiday.
Wow, one of the best places to visit and dine. The setting and atmosphere is unbelievably beautiful. The staff are super friendly and the two guys with their guitars made it such a wonderful and memorable experience. Thank you
I had two wildly different experiences here, as far as dishes. First night, had the prawn piri piri and the fish of the day. Both decent dishes, plus a small spinach side dish. All pretty decent, tasty and fair presentation. Considering the options (other restaurants at Warwick were pretty meh), we booked to come back the next night. We ordered the octopus, the Kokoda and the Whole Fish. Whole fish was ridiculously poor in actual flesh. We carved the whole thing with our forks and barely took a mouthful of food at any point. The Kokoda was expensive and disappointing. Ridiculous amount of actual fish. We left the restaurant starving. Octopus was ok, also tiny amount. It was our last night in Fiji, but safe to say we wouldn't return.
Dining at Wicked Walu has been my inner foodies highlight of the trip! The staff are nothing short of amazing. Vinaka to Adi, Semi, Asena, Vula, Love, Jona and ofcourse the Chefs! You make the experience special! Seafood Bisque was incredible. Scallops were perfect. My personal highlight was the Seafood Paella, great depth of flavour and very well executed. Sitting waterside with sand beneath your feet makes this my best dining experience in my life and travels so far. Vinaka
Great service and a lovely space to eat. All our food was delicious. This was my favorite meal at the Warwick and quite reasonably priced considering the resort pricing. We had 2 entrees , 2 mains and shared a desert for $200 fjd which was pretty good value . Booked at the resort 2 days prior and would have eaten here again if it wasn't our last night.
Stunning setting, on the ocean with sunset views that cannot be beaten. Your experience starts as you enter and being welcomed with a heartfelt Bula! from a smiling member of staff. You will be spoiled for choice when it comes to ordering your meal and you will not be disappointed. From starters to dessert, every dish lived up to expectation. Add to this the staff, and the way they make you feel like family and you will have a dinner that not only gave you good food, but also good memories. Wicked Walu is a must visit when staying at the Warwick Resort on the Coral Coast.
Last dinner on our Fiji expedition. The Wicked Walu is part of the Warwick Resort. It is a very beautiful place. The restaurant is normally on an island unless weather precludes using it. Then it is part of their other restaurant on the veranda. We dined on the veranda. The meal started with virgin pina coladas. Very nicely done and tasty. We also had the Fijian raw fish (seviche) and the seafood chowder. Both were very nicely done. The chowder was massively loaded with seafood, and unlike what we are used to, lacked potatoes. They were not missed. Two of our party got the surf and turf. We usually like our steaks medium rare, but have learned that ordering it rare in other countries works better. The steaks were delicious and tasty, as was the shrimp. The fish of the day was grilled mahi-mahi and tasted pretty good. The grilled mahi-mahi was a tad overcooked. The herb crusted mahi-mahi was also very good. Dessert was the Bombe Alaska and the cheesecake. Both were understated, but as our American palettes tend to sweeter flavors, they were probably perfect. The servers were fantastic and very attentive. We called to get a reservation, which we recommend. They usually serve only the people staying at the resort, and we found that the resort has meal options that include 3 squares a day. We did decide that if we ever come back to Fiji, we will stay here just because it was such a nice place. And, get here to see the sunsets. Spectacular.
Nestled on a private island connected by a small bridge, Wicked Walu at the Warwick Fiji Resort offers an exceptional seafood dining experience with stunning ocean views. As soon as I arrived, I was enchanted by the serene ambiance, with tables set right on the beach, allowing diners to feel the sand between their toes as they enjoy a gourmet meal by the sea. The seafood menu highlights the freshest catch of the day, including succulent lobster, tiger prawns, and reef fish. I highly recommend the signature grilled lobster with coconut sauce, which was perfectly tender and bursting with island flavors. Paired with fine Fijian wines and impeccable service, Wicked Walu is a romantic, must-visit dining destination for those seeking an unforgettable meal by the water.
Came for the Valentine’s Day fixed menu and everything was perfect. The staff was very friendly and engaging. The dishes were rich in flavour. I definitely recommend you apply mosquito repellent if you come for dinner, although I’m not sure if it was because it was raining the whole day. I would definitely recommend anyone to come for dinner here if your staying in the area. It is a very unique dining experience.
