We booked ahead before going. We did not regret our decision of spending our 14th wedding anniversary dinner there. Because it was October we were nearing the rainy season in Fiji so it was cloudy when we went but we were so fortunate we still had a view of the sunset. The atmosphere was laid back and calm, the view was soothing to the eyes and it was so great when they brought around small table lamps during sundown. I had the crab with chillie garlic sauce...I have to say it was evident they put in effort in selecting their crabs...the best crab so far in restaurant in Fiji. Eventhough we were locals their service was still great 👍❤️

First time here. Got recommended my brother to try the food. Simple set up. Amazing views on a bright sunny day. Highly recommend the mud crab and the Bu salad. Access to beach and foot steps away to other adventures such as massages, hair braiding and horse riding. Worth every cent

A few local may say it’s hyped, well maybe. Nonetheless, the food is great, and dining outdoors is really fun and we were able to watch the sunset while savouring a lovely dinner. Tried the mud crab and had to restrain ourselves to order another plate. The shrimp fajita was nice too and the roti here was the best we've tried in Fiji. We didn’t make any reservations beforehand but we think it’s best to just so you have a shade above your head for when it rains. 😉

The Best Seafood restaurant in Fiji. 5 Star Dining, better than Hotel food in Fiji which we totally didn’t expect. The crab was amazing. Kokoda is really good

We’ve been here 2 times now. The first time we were almost turned away as the rain and wind was coming in. But they kindly seated us in these cabana tables. The fish taco, bu salad and mud crabs were awesome. We had the garlic and chili sauce on day 1 and Fijian curry sauce on day 2 and they tasted fantastic. The location is magical as the beach also is surrounded by low lying coral and plenty of fish to see even when you are on the shore. Definitely don’t miss this place when you are in Fiji.

Visited this place again to give it a 2nd try. Honestly- the first time I came here was almost 2 years ago. My partner and I visited during sunset and ordered a mudcrab, and we had a horrible experience because there were FLIES EVERYWHERE! But since everyone kept talking about this place, we decided to give it a 2nd go! This time around, we went at night around 8pm- and it was nice! There were no flies around. We ordered the bu salad - the grilled Prawns on it were really nice, but the salad itself wasn't too impressive - just some cucumber/ tomatoes with mayo and some spring onion. The green mussels boil was delicious! 34 dollars for 8 of them with a side of your choice. We ordered the fiji curry mud crab. We were expecting it to be like a local Kekra surwa kind with a lot of haldi and masala, but it was very toned down creamy curry. It was still nice! I think those people who can't take spice will be able to eat it. Overall, the 2nd time around was more pleasant. We spent a total of 140 FJD here for the 3 dishes- so prices are a bit on the higher end. It's an outdoor restaurant - Recommend not to go when it is raining. They have sheds, but the rain will still come in when it's windy.

Stopped here after a long tourist day in the area. Easy to find off the main road. As you come off it essentially dead ends and the crab shack is to the right. We got there just before closing at 300p. Make sure you time your lunch appropriately. They're closed from 300p-500p. Great options and very tasty. Very friendly service. A few gluten free options. We paid in cash...but i think they may take cards. Would definitely go back.
