Khajaguda lake road was so clean and pristine when it first opened to public and was not quite popular. It felt so good when we first walked through path way. But as it become popular and more people started visiting the place, it has become filthy and ugly. Some people also drive rash and mindlessly on this road making it dangerous for others. As much as we blame the government for not taking care of the lakes or roads, if the people are not responsible, no government can do any good for the city or country. The area is littered with beer bottles, plastic bottles, coffee cups, ice cream cups, plastic bags, plastic wrappers and a lot of flith. It feels sad that a beautiful place has been turned into a dumping ground by the very people who visit there for some fresh air. It is not surprising that GHMC has also lost interest in maintenance of this area. I hope people feel responsible towards our city and stop it from making it filthy.

This lake has good potential to be a tourist spot and I already see some work going on here. The lake needs to be cleaned up a lot.

Khajaguda Lake, also known as Pedda Cheruvu is a small lake in Ranga Reddy District in the Indian state of Telangana and on the edge of the city of Hyderabad, in the suburb of Manikonda, in the middle of Khajaguda area.Nice place to visit. Pleasant environment and cleanliness been maintained by GHMC. Could be a small hike for kids. And could be a starter level for Mountain bikers. It's best place for photography and Videos shooting. Good place

Small pond opposite Lanco hills. Beautiful and well decorated with plants and a modern art statue. Clean road good for walkers and cyclers. If you are a early bird who likes to jog or cycle this is the place it looks stunning even in the evening when the tall building's reflection fells on the water. The only issue is the foul smell which has been the story of almost all the lakes/pond in hyderabad. I wish if GHMC can preserve these tiny water bodies..cities water woes may see some light in the tunnel.

Weekends are what life is all about, what you do on weekdays is just to sustain that life ! Weekends are, thus, the most important days of our lives and you would want to make the best out of them. With that profound "gyaan", during the weekend plan a trek to Khajaguda hills in Hyderabad. Khajaguda hills located in the Khajaguda village, close to the IT hub of the city, is one of the popular trekking and rock climbing spots. The place is just a stone's throw from where we live. Everyday, while driving to work through the ORR, we pass by these hills and boulders, those sights play a big role in motivating us to get to work ! Best time to visit- early mornings / evenings Note- will not find anything to have not even water so make sure to carry water bottle, snacks &your belongings.

Very serene and clean place, it feels very peaceful to have a stroll here. Kids can have a good time if they like birds.

This page where the photos are taken is not a proper public park. It is actually a wild place. You won't find anyone going there. You need to do atleast 1 km off roading to reach this spot. When you visit this spot at sunrise it is mesmerizing there're lots of birds around at the bank of the Lake, nearby bushes and even in the Lake. There is absolute peace and changing of birds which adds to the serenity of this place. But the place is not very same watch out for snakes and other reptiles.It is not advisable to visit this place alone.

This lake may be a good one to see sunrise or sunset, but it is too dirty. Its better to visit in the evening so that you do not see the flower waste, chips packets, plastic bottles, etc, instead you see highrising buildings on the other side of the lake. Irrespective of the time, morning or evening - the horrible smell will always be there. So, just drive pass it and enjoy it for only a short time.

Beautiful, calm place. Near biodiversity park. Roads are very nice, a better place for morning walk for those who resides near khajahuda and gachibowli.

Perfect place to feel the sun both in the morning and evening . Still not yet polluted as it was new...but people have to responsible to preserve that . Kids will enjoy .

The lake is good for experiencing the sunrise and sunset. The view is nice but people are ruining everything by throwing garbage and drinking alcohols. The other part is mountains

Extremely dirty and unbearable stench. While there are plans to beautify the lake, wonder why GHMC is not addressing the immediate problem of dirty walking paths. Not a single trash bins placed along the walkway. That’s the least that could be done. Until the lake is cleaned up, it’s not worth going there for a walk.

Nice place to visit in Weekends. here not only lake but also hill area and granary also available. in weekends so many people are coming and making photoshoot and weeding shoot and Instagram reels also. in the evening time in weekends food also available here. this is very near by Bio diversity flyover and near by Manikonda and Gachibowli also. I so much liked this place for photos and refreshment also. Nice place must visit.

Located in middle of densely populated place, heavily polluted, still has a good ecosystem with over a 300 white cranes. Can do some good bird photography.

Perfect place for long walks, drives. Road seems like its never going to end. Colourful plants alongside the path makes a complete scenic view for sunrise or sunset.

A go to place for a short walk after dinner . You will get cool winds and wide footpaths , also there will be people doing cake cuttings . Lovely place

Not for kids. Out of the world. Its a small neck lace road for new city people.

One of the best hangout places. The idea of placing rocks in the divider is so attractive. Only concern is people are on racing with cars most of the times. I recommend to place speedometers to keep safe of innocent people.

Amazing place, the combination of rock formation and lake is a good place to hangout. Visit during evening times. The view can be more while you observe sunset from the top most hill. It is a good place family trek.
