Great
service,
decent
Bulgarian
cuisine
but
quite
disappointed
about
the
way
they
manage
their
butcher's
dogs.
We
had
come
for
lunch
via
the
woodland
path
leading
up
to
the
hotel
from
hizha
Zdravets
(lodge).
We
picked
wild
strawberries
and
blueberries
up
on
the
way
and
we
were
very
happy
to
arrive
to
our
destination
and
grab
a
chilled
drink
and
some
food
while
the
kids
played
in
the
shaded
playground
under
the
pine
tress.
The
restaurant
and
reception
staff
were
very
very
friendly
and
helpful,
however,
as
we
paid
our
bill
and
set
off
on
our
way
back
through
the
woods
we
were
greeted
by
a
guard
dog
which
weren't
too
happy
for
us
to
be
walking
right
through
what
he
presumed
to
be
his
territory.
It
was
quite
a
scare
given
the
fact
that
we
were
had
young
kids
with
us.
Obviously
not
blaming
the
dog
which
was
just
doing
what
it
thought
that
it
was
supposed
to
be
doing
-guarding.
After
being
informed
that
we
should
be
speaking
to
the
resident
butcher
who
looks
after
the
dogs
we
tried
knocking
on
several
doors
to
reach
him
unsuccessfully.
We
then
complained
to
the
reception
staff
who
were
very
helpful
and
reached
him
via
phone
to
ask
him
to
tie
up
the
dog(s).
We
were
then
able
to
walk
back
through
the
woodland
path
but
it
was
just
unnecessarily
stressful
and
it
really
doesn't
even
bear
thinking
about
what
could
have
happened
had
a
one
of
the
children
run
forward
to
be
"greeted"
by
the
dog
instead
of
us!
I
urge
the
owners
of
the
this
otherwise
beautiful
mountain
lodge
to
address
the
loose
dog
issue
and
to
make
sure
that
their
visitors
can
be
safe
not
only
when
arriving
by
car
but
on
foot
also!
