The hotel is very close to Plovdiv, yet in a very peaceful area in the mountains. We stayed there for 3 nights in September while the relax and pool area was being refurbished. We enjoyed spending time in the hotel outdoor area. I strongly recommend the full-board option because it is great value for money. The food is locally produced and very deliciously cooked. They even bake their own bread. The food reminded me of home with its taste and large portions. We will definitely visit again.

Great service, decent Bulgarian cuisine but quite disappointed about the way they manage their butcher's dogs. We had come for lunch via the woodland path leading up to the hotel from hizha Zdravets (lodge). We picked wild strawberries and blueberries up on the way and we were very happy to arrive to our destination and grab a chilled drink and some food while the kids played in the shaded playground under the pine tress. The restaurant and reception staff were very very friendly and helpful, however, as we paid our bill and set off on our way back through the woods we were greeted by a guard dog which weren't too happy for us to be walking right through what he presumed to be his territory. It was quite a scare given the fact that we were had young kids with us. Obviously not blaming the dog which was just doing what it thought that it was supposed to be doing -guarding. After being informed that we should be speaking to the resident butcher who looks after the dogs we tried knocking on several doors to reach him unsuccessfully. We then complained to the reception staff who were very helpful and reached him via phone to ask him to tie up the dog(s). We were then able to walk back through the woodland path but it was just unnecessarily stressful and it really doesn't even bear thinking about what could have happened had a one of the children run forward to be "greeted" by the dog instead of us! I urge the owners of the this otherwise beautiful mountain lodge to address the loose dog issue and to make sure that their visitors can be safe not only when arriving by car but on foot also!

Nice hotel, but obviously it's best days have passed some time ago. Swimming pool is clean but missing many tiles. In our room the shower was broken, sink was leaking and the carpet was in need of some serious cleaning. The playground and mini-golf are nice for the kids but very worn. This was somewhat compensated by the free bikes and skelters for the younger kids, the very comfortable new mattresses and the traditional restaurant with some really excellent grilled meat. But, overall I would say that you can find better value for money.

The apartment was decently sized for a family and equipped with clean bedding, but the shower drain was leaking all over the floor and the shower cabin dirty. The bathroom and apartment smelled of sewage. The wi-fi did not work. A la carte menu for dinner, with main course options overpriced and limited. Ordered ribs and boiled potatoes - got inedible ribs and french fries. The substitution was not communicated. No apology either. The pork koftas were tasteless and dry. The waiter was watching tiktok with other staff, while I had to chase him to settle the bill and complain about the food. To be honest, I would have preferred to eat the cooked food from the school camping trips menu! The surrounding nature, activities and concept hold promise, but for the 195 leva per night that I paid ( I prepaid for 2x nights) this was a total rip-off!!

A clean and calm place to visit with your family (pets included :-) ). The staff was friendly and the spa was ok (clean and warm pool and sauna). Do not expect luxury rooms (the hotel is rated 3*) but the price to quality ratio is pritty good especially if you take their weekend offer (stay 3 nights & pay for 2)

Nice surroundings - you can see the animals quite closely. Food is OK but we were disappointed by the home-made bread supposed to be baked every day at 12. It was like it was from yesterday. There were a lot of missing items of the menu. Service is a bit relaxed , a bit way too much when you are hungry. When the waitress is holding your plate at the entering and discussing with 2 colleagues one after the other for pleasure before giving us the plate - this is ridiculous. We didn't stay at the hotel but maybe we can try one night with the kids.

Good place for everyone. There is a lot to do in and around the place / hotel. Food is good, not a huge variety but they have some home made things like cheese, a few unique kinds of meat, lukanka, babek 🙂. The Hotel is old but it is clean and well-maintained. The hotel staff is very polite and supportive.
