Great spot to spend 3-4 hours, specially in evening or when weather is good. There is natural beauty of rocks and ravines and waterfall. Location is exactly where Google Maps tells you it will be. Entry fee is 105 rupee per adult, 40 per child, kids below 10 years free, and 345 for car. Ticket is bit on high side gives absolutely lack of any amenities or tourist development. There is no drinking water or bathroom. Nothing to eat. Lots of monkeys so you better avoid taking any eatables. Waterfall downstairs is great to spend an hour in but there are no changing facilities. Plan to carry extra pair of clothes though to enjoy the bath. Rest is just walking, sitting, and clicking pictures. And yes, road off National Highway is pathetic to say the least. It's bit sad because this could have been so much better. Ravine view restaurant, snacks and food counter, changing facilities, bathing clothes rental, rope way across ravine, boat ride, better road and parking, and so much more can be done to develop this as great tourist attraction.

Awesome surprise in the middle of jungle with lots of bushes. Few beautiful colourful birds present there welcome you to the sight n assure that a surprise is few steps ahead n then suddenly you reach a point which is mesmirizing. Go few steps down further to Garadia Mahadev Temple, a fall with clear water is seen coming from no where. A colony of bats is visible down in valley. Overall no one should miss this spot.

Garadia Mahadev Temple, located in Kota, is a mesmerizing religious site that offers a breathtaking view and a serene atmosphere. Nestled amidst the rugged Aravalli Hills, the temple is renowned for its natural beauty and is a popular destination for both locals and tourists alike. Upon arrival at the temple, visitors are greeted by a well-maintained pathway that leads to the main shrine. The temple itself is dedicated to Lord Shiva and boasts a magnificent architecture, showcasing intricate carvings and sculptures. The serene ambiance and the spiritual aura of the temple create a sense of tranquility and peace. However, what truly sets Garadia Mahadev Temple apart is its location. Perched atop a steep cliff, the temple offers a panoramic view of the Chambal River and the surrounding landscapes. The sight is truly awe-inspiring, with the river winding its way through the rugged terrain and the lush greenery adding to the natural beauty. It is the perfect spot for nature lovers, photographers, and those seeking solace in the lap of nature. The temple complex also includes well-maintained gardens and seating areas, providing visitors with a comfortable and peaceful environment to relax and soak in the scenic beauty. The view from the temple during sunrise and sunset is particularly mesmerizing, as the colors of the sky blend with the landscape, creating a magical experience. In addition to the scenic beauty, Garadia Mahadev Temple also holds religious significance. Devotees visit the temple to seek blessings from Lord Shiva and offer prayers. The temple hosts various festivals and religious events throughout the year, attracting a large number of devotees. Accessibility to the temple is relatively easy, with well-connected roads leading to the site. The temple is around 20 kilometers from Kota city and can be reached by hiring a taxi or using public transportation. In conclusion, Garadia Mahadev Temple in Kota is a place of immense natural beauty, religious significance, and tranquility. Its stunning location, perched on a cliff with a panoramic view of the Chambal River, makes it a must-visit destination. Whether you are a devotee seeking spiritual solace or a nature enthusiast captivated by scenic landscapes, this temple offers a truly unforgettable experience Follow me 🥼🥼@medico.trick(insta)

Garadia Mahadev Temple is a noted shrine of Kota, located near the Chambal River. It is located near the NH-76 that leads to Dabi and Chittorgarh. If you're someone who enjoys spectacular views, then this place doesn't disappoint. Garadia is a canyon type of valley which is located on the Chambal River, 24 Kms from Kota.

Natural place with nice view, it’s inside the tiger reserve and you can walk around the area and gets a nice view of Chambal. Lots of birds and monkey . Good place to sit and feel the nature with nice view. Since it’s inside the reserve area no shops or other facilities it’s just you and nature. The reserve area has entry fee. It was 147 per person and also 400 for the car.

Situated at an altitude of 500 feet, Garadia Mahadev Temple is one of the unique and magnificent tourist places to visit in Kota. Resting over the gorge through which the Chambal river passes, one can feel a divine connection by merely standing here. There are rituals performed by the local priest who stays inside the temple till 5:30pm. This place is not recommended to be visited at late hours. Gigantic cliffs lie on either sides of the gorge. The winds blowing seem to be chanting the Shiv stotras in your ears to arouse the feeling of devotion in you. Garadia Mahadev Temple lies on one of the cliffs. The rituals are performed by a local priest who generally stays in the shrine till around 5:30pm. Late nights are not recommended. The place is picture perfect like a painting made by God himself. You can actually realize the bliss of solitude by sitting here for some time. The place has served many as a spot for picnic. The largest tributary of Yamuna, river Chambal is known for being the abode of many water species. Sitting on cliff you may catch a glimpse of the crocodiles, turtles etc. HOW TO REACH National Highway number 76 runs from Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh to Pindwara in Rajasthan. The highway runs through Kota erstwhile Kotah in the state of Rajasthan. After travelling for 25km south west from Kota on NH 76, a road diverts left from the highway. The diversion leads through a desolate place with little or, nil habitation. Untouched by electricity and almost untrodden, the path leads to far away from the maddening crowd. Travelling further on this kaccha road while enjoying the roller coaster ride for about 3km, you will finally arrive at the Garadia Mahadev Temple. If ecstasy lies in the trip and not the destination alone, this road can fill you with enough thrills to cherish all lifelong. To reach Garadia Mahadev Temple aim for Kota. It has a prosperous network of roadways. It is well connected to Delhi, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad by road. Kota junction railway station has numerous trains halting by. The nearest airport is at Jaipur. So get going to the Chambal Ghaati to immerse in peace of nature and seek the blessings of Shiva.

Great place. View is great. Best time to visit is rainy season. Wear shoes. Some spots are picture perfect. If you are a student, carry your I'd card. You can take car inside and it costs around 400 inr. There are no signals except jio with weak strength. Try carring water with you.

This place is auspicious. Kind of #hideout place, peaceful and with the best of nature. A temple on the canyon of chambal river, less crowded. It comes under forest dept. So it has a fees on a bit higher side, but it is worth every penny. Roads are cramped up so i feel best mode is to go by 2 wheeler or can take your personal vehicle as well. Approx 100+ per person and 300+ per car is what was charged. It is a best scenic place for photography and videography

View in absolutely Marvelous, but the road is very bad and they charge ₹133 per head plus ₹60 for two wheeler. For students, ticket price is less.

Nice place for family or friends outing. Great natural scenery. Entry for single person with two wheeler is 200. Payment can be made through phone using wifi with additional charge of Rs7. Keep your bags and food item secure as the monkeys will try to grab whatever they can.
