I went there to see is it that as ppl say but it is not that good. Just a normal restaurant nothing more. The briyani and fish is okay okay but meals and chicken fry is better than that. Use this restaurant as a last resort.

Giving 4 star because Seeraga Samba is not used for biriyani. Otherwise wonderful taste & very cheap in price. Chilly chicken must try. A very small mess & only 10 persons can sit but the taste is just phenomenal.Crowd keep on arriving & ask for biriyani. Luckily we were the last one's to get biriyani as we went by 3 PM only. Go atleast by 2 PM to enjoy all their menu. Coming to the rate it's the only inexpensive mess in whole Ooty with such good taste. A must visit mess for all food lovers & also very very budget friendly.

Small and nice place for lunch during travel, i tried only veg and the food was good. My friends who has non-veg said the taste of fish was not up to mark (Dam fish). But plain biriyani is good. Locals recommend this place.

This is an small restaurant setup can accommodate only 10 to 15 people. This isn't pure non veg shop you get few non veg items like chicken curry, chicken fry, fish fry, along with non-veg means they provide chicken mutton fish gravy. People from plain region don't expect the taste what you get in your place. While checking around this was the preferred place of local people.

The place is normal but the pricing and the food is delicious 😋... The complete non vegetarian will love this place a lot the only problem if you are visiting on a weekend and you are travelling in a car you won't get a parking. We have ordered 3 items and the bill amount was 400 which is average but the taste is completely good.

Run by a small cute family, I visited this small eatery for a family of 8 members. Biryani rice was nice and subtle. Chicken Biryani was ok, nothing to highlight. Mutton fry and chicken fry was nice. Veg Meals were the best I felt. Rasam was good. Overall quantity and quality is just right 👍 The place is the main road and easy to locate. Cost wise it's decent and slightly overpriced for mess standards.

Small, simple and affordable restaurant . Had fish curry meals, one fish fry and biriyani for five , both were tasty and had sufficient quantity. The only drawback is the lack of parking space, need to park on the other side of road. Also the seating capacity is limited, but still one of the best restaurant option ig you are not looking for any cosy restaurant.

The place is really good and nice to have the lunch. The quality of the food is great and no discomfort is felt after having. It is a must try hotel. The price is well affordable.

Kotagiri is well-known for this particular spot. We decided to try out their meals, briyani, ayala fish fry, and chicken fry. The meals were absolutely satisfying, especially with their homemade chicken, mutton, and fish curry. Each item in the meal had a distinct homemade touch to it. The fish fry was exceptional, and they used just the right amount of oil. The briyani was light and had a subtle flavor that tasted amazing without overwhelming spices. Out of all the dishes, the chicken fry was decent. Unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try their mutton dishes.

The food is good and delicious and cheap also. They serve with smile and polite. The varieties available is less yet you can have good ones from option available. The cost is reasonable. They serve on banana leaf which gives cultural feel.

The fish fry, the mutton dry and the biryani maaaan... I'm literally drooling right now as I write this review. Just amazing guys. No frills...it's just all about the food...and that's exactly how I like it. Keep it up folks.

Nice Mess in Kottagiri Town owned by Malayalees. They dont have any wide veriety of dishes. But the food they providing is very good and delicious. Main problem is ..there is no parking facility. We have to park the vehicle in some other places and reach there by walk.. Mostly local peoples uses the mess for meals. Main dishes are BIRIYANI, MEALS CHICKEN 65 CHILLI CHICKEN FISH CURRY, FRY. The price is also reasonable.

Their chicken biryani and fish fry is best combo. Chicken fry also recommended. You didn't get Omelette item's they have only boiled egg and they don't have any kitchen setup if you order any fish fry they already have fried fish and using Owen heat it and serve but it looks fresh. Recommended 👍

Authentic Indian meals availible for lunch. Non veg hotel with homely taste in food preparation. Veg friendly also. Good lunch option with limited option.
