Loved the place ... Ideal for a mid-sized family group. Beautiful and scenic location. Far for the madding crowd!! They were a little short-staff hence the service was a bit stretched, but still good. The villa was very comfortable but could have been maintained a little better. Food and service was fantastic! The entire family had a wonderful time.

Stayed in a two bedroom villa in the property last week. The service was pathetic. The caretaker couple refused to clean the house inspite of repeated requests. They had done some cooking prior to our stay, and the stench from the unwashed utensils was overpowering and unbearable. The bedsheets looked like they had been slept on by others. They don't have a running kitchen, so the lunch and dinner that we ordered were totally unpalatable. Breakfast was okay, simple but fine. On the postive side, the location, the property, the view etc is amazing . It's just out of this world. They also have indoor games like badminton, TT etc. Maybe we were unlucky to get that specific cottage with that couple as the caretakers!

It was a good and a pleasant stay at Kothagiri with a stunning and an absolute atrocious view with beautiful mist and nature living place. But there is no proper communication could happen if you take three or more rooms. Bcos, there is no wifi and no intercoms and no network signal even to communicate the room assistance for any emergency. People who would like to stay has to come by car. For multiple families who has to enjoy, this is not the right place. We nearly 4 families went and taken 2 villas which was a terrible and hectic experience. Where we found no communication and no wifi between two villas and also to contact the room assistance. We had came through a tempo traveller where we parked near the lobby and used internal jeep for coming and going from villa to main finch restaurant and lobby. So certainly time gets extended. But to stay in one place without any interruptions this was the right place I could suggest. Atleast the property owners can concentrate in giving the intercom or wifi facility in each villa. Pls advice the customers to come only by car or suv and not through van. Pls don't encourage multiple families.

Far from the maddening crowd of Ooty, Coonoor etc. You go there, stay there. Enjoy the crispy clean air in top class accommodation and individual cottages. Their food is amazing!

The best place if you wish to stay indoors and enjoy the nature wth awesome food.. Unbelievable artistic designed restaurant..

Our memories are generally influenced by how we are treated! It's an excellent spot for a family or friends get together! They claim this to be a pet friendly place but is far from it! The service and our hospitality was terribly affected due to the canine friend that one our fellow guests had brought along. We were denied BBQ and camp fire as we had a dog. We had brought it ONLY after confirmation from the person in charge, but once we checked in, we were in for a cold reception, colder than Ooty weather! On the plus side, the rooms are clean and spotless. Restrooms are clean. Will i come here again without a dog? I will be reminded of the treatment we got here during my last visit, reason being secondary.

Great place to be immersed in nature. Good location with good views of nature. Very clean and super picturesque. In short awesomeness overflowing. My favorite: take a walk next to the lake in the evening around sunset time.

Nice quiet place but too much expensive where we can stay in Taj or Oberoi for the same price. Food not worth the money.

Nice isolated space to spend your week end with your loved one, but bit expensive and and food they provide are average. Nice place to had one day outdoor photoshoot. They are charging around 7.5k per day for photoshoot

Good place for a weekend getaway. It’s in the middle of nowhere! No mobile signals too; so if you are looking to be cut off from the world it’s the place. Food: Buffet breakfast was good, in general limited food items. Other meals, one needs to order from the available items and the cook can then prepare it for you. Accommodation: Great views, but cottages could do with a little more upkeep. Overall: Great location and views. Standard food fare and accommodation.

Stay here was heavenly This is located 12kms from kotagiri so don't expect any shops around here. Network reception is close to zero. Proper secluded place. Plan ahead and get whatever you want. They had badminton, carrom, volleyball, basketball

Amazing viewpoints and peaceful environment place to stay. Community has all kind of activity play area and games kits . And Food was really good. Overall preferable for both family and bachelor's.
