I'd been waiting to try out this cafe ever since I arrived in Kotagiri. Located in the center of town, it is one of the few upscale cafes. The interior is brightly lit-up, and there are around five tables with one that can seat a large group. I think many tourists in these parts end up here. I finally landed up at the establishment for lunch and ordered the Grilled Fish and a cup of Darmona Tea, which I think is the parent company of this cafe. I tend to judge continental restaurants based on the quality of their beef and fish dishes. There were no beef dishes here, and I'd been pining for a juicy piece of fish for a while, so I went with the Grilled Fish. The tea arrived first on my request and turned out to be a pretty normal cup of tea. Maybe next time I'll ask for it black, then I might be able to notice any different flavor notes. The fish turned out to be a sizzler. My fault for not reading the menu properly. I was hoping it would be served as a steak. Anyway, after the smoke had died down a bit, I tucked in. The sea bass was nicely prepared and succulent. I would have preferred a little more flavor in the meat, but it was tasty enough. The sizzler tray also had different vegetables like broccoli, carrots, olives, and capsicum. I didn't much care for the carrots. The dish included a small serving of rice, which was okay. A bowl of creamy garlic sauce was served on the side and drizzled over the fish - Quite tasty. I enjoyed the dish and plan to try out other offerings on the menu. The bill came to Rs. 380, which is quite affordable.

Good cafe in Kotagiri for some tea, coffee and food. They have sandwiches, omelettes, pizzas and pasta varieties. Good amount of options for vegetarian and meat eaters. Their egg sandwich is nice. They also serve fresh gree, black and milk chai, as well as americano, cappuccino and other coffee varieties. Priced a tad on the higher side. They also play Ilayaraja songs, which is fun!

Drove here for a brunch break from Coimbatore. Amazing place. The most flavourful Masala chai we ever had. We also had Mexican Paneer Wrap and Egg sandwich which were just perfect and served very well with fries and coleslaw. Nothing short of 5 star dining. Kudos to the chef and staff.

A small nd compact restaurant. Tried French fries and Veg Pizzas, taste was authentic. Never had a masala tea like there, it was really awesome taste.

Best place in Kotagiri for a short lunch or dinner visit. The food taste is just amazing. The chef is really good and he knows to perfect the dishes. Affordable prices and good portion of food in your plate will bring a smile on your face. Also, their tea is wonderful. Only thing is that they could have set up such a concept at a spacious and scenic place. Will visit often.

The ambience was very good and well maintained. We had Pizza, Veg Burger, and Pasta. Everything was delicious and deserts are also quite good

Amazing food and loved the service by the staffs. We ordered pizza, pasta, burger and grilled chicken all the dishes were too good. If you are a tea lover do try their brand “Darmona Tea” trust me you will fall for the taste and richness. While going back to Bangalore we took 2 kgs of tea packets and I everyone back home loved the tea very much!

A nice and cosy corner in Kotagiri. I went riding and wanted a quick bite. Veg salad, Burger and coffee was amazing. Staff is courteous and efficient.

The best pizza I ever tasted with melting cheese ,sandwich, cheesy french fries, and the burger... we can hot pipe fresh from the oven. Neat , cozy and clean place.

Really good cafe serving fresh and tasty food.. Had Omlette, Veg sandwich, Veg Burger etc.. Their Creamy Veg Soup is one of the best ever..!! Sandwich was fresh.. Burger patty was really good.. they are serving a good portion of potato wedges with whatever we ordered.. so we couldn't finish the good food they served..!! Service was good.. we thought we would have to eat something after this from Mettupalayam.. but portions were very generous and filling (us being not that of heavy eaters).. Good behaviour of staffs.. Only thing is that, their said toilet is too far away and down the building they are in, and it was raining really heavy, so we couldn't even walk upto there and use it.. had to stop @ HP petrol station nearby.. Edit - really good music taste.. 😁😁

5 Star for all. You can't find a better in that area. Litterly searching for restaurants like this. Finally got this. Taste gud. Quantity far enough. Trendy dishes..

Overall a good experience.... place is small but the food is great... specially the sizzlers.... limited cold beverages though.... and low point is that there is no washroom there.

A fantastic place in kotagiri. All the dishes were fresh and served on time. There is ample parking space. Their pizzas and chilli fish were really good.

The place is cozy n gud for a couple or gang of five but surely not a heavy crowd. The menu is sorted well for a cafe. The sandwich is worth the penny n mouthwatering….must try place for sure. For two ppl the rough payout is around 800 bucks …. Humble staff n gud choice of songs played 😊😊😊

Food was fresh and hot and good to taste. I also had lemon mint honey tea which was really nice. Also they has a really clean bathroom which is a plus when on a long distance road trip. Nice place 👍 i recommend!!

Delicious is the word. Cream of Mushroom soup and Chicken Stroganoff was mouth watering. BBQ chicken wings was nice too. Overall an amazing experience!

Coming from the busy city like chennai. Kotagiri and High Grown has really impressed me. The soup, starter and the main course are of top notch quality. The veggies and the meat used are very fresh. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. P.S: My daughter loved all the collection of books specially about Tea.

Delicious food. Tried pasta, pizza and soup. Oh man, just awesome. Loved it! Portion size is bigger, so plan accordingly! There were no restrooms here; and the hand wash water was frickin cold. Just two things that could be worked on. I'll definitely go back for the food though!

Great experience, Loved the food taste and quality 👌Had lasagne, Grilled fish, garlic bread, Bruschetta,everything was authentic and top notch👍 Only Cons is Seats are not enough when it's peak time, i suggest that they can make cozy sofa corners and utilize the available space that could accommodate 8 people easily But overall great cafe which shouldn't be missed when whomever is visiting kotagiri !!

Supeb ambience... well maintained interiors.I have tried their soup, garlic bread and pizza. All seems to be really good and worthy. This restaurant stood outstanding among the other options available in the locality. This is definitely a must try in Kothagiri
